Great product yielding fast and efficient results
I bought a USB 3.0 card reader to use on SD cards from my camcorder. The USB 3.0 speed drastically decreases the time it takes to upload large file videos. I would recommend this card reader to anyone looking to efficiently transfer large files from CF, SD, or micro SD formats via USB 3.0 format.

Great product! A MUST for what I use it for!
I work in a machine shop with CNC equipment. Our machines require compact flash cards to upload and download programs. I decided to purchase the Tripplite brand. I am very glad that I did! It's fast and dependable.

Works better than expected
With the move to new computers with fewer and fewer memory card ports available I purchased this to be able to pull info off of our multiple cards. It connects fast and moves data extremely quick. Bought a second for another computer recently. A must have these days!

I would buy this product again
The reader is light wieght and east to use. Only issue is there should be a label for this side up so the card isn't inserted incorrectly and causing damage to the small prongs on the card.

Solid little adapter but short USB cord
A good adapter--seems well-made with sturdy parts. The cord is short, which isn't a problem for a laptop but presents an issue for desktop PCs. On my desktop, for example, the short USB cord doesn't allow the adapter to rest on the desk or the top of the PC case. To keep it from dangling while it's plugged in, I have to slide something beneath it (e.g. a Starbucks tumbler) because I'm afraid it will eventually be damaged from its own weight. Not a huge deal but a bit annoying.

Does the job.
Might be worth adding a label or graphic reminding users to insert cards with contacts toward the top of the box. (I added a note with marker.)
A bit bulkier than the noname "pluggable" unit I'd used before, not that this matters significantly. I do wonder whether that size is actually needed by the circuit board or is just to make it look more substantial.
