Great backpack that can qualify as a personal item
I moved from Northface Surge to Thule EnRoute 23 lt. much lighter, functional, has the required number of pockets, comfortable to carry a laptop/ tablet. Also qualifies as a personal item. Would recommend

Great layout but "poor" material
I've been using the Thule EnRoute 23L Black backpack for a month. The layout is pretty solid, I like how it is being labeled with work and life in two different layers. The work side which has the laptop sleeve is well designed, since it also has several small pocket which designed for charger and charging cabl

Great bag for MacBook Pro 16in.
This bag has plenty of room to fit a 16in laptop, 1 liter Nalgene, personal supplies and much more. Great quality, fabric and well thought storage. Much better than Osprey and other similar bags for urban lifestyle. Happy with my purchase.

The work side which has the laptop sleeve is well designed, since it also has several small pocket which designed for charger and charging cable. As for the life side, there is a water-proof pocket which is pretty sweet, that I can put my toothbrush and tooth paste for a day trip. BUT, overall, the quality of the backpack feels pretty cheap, though it is sold for over $110. Also, I used this backpack in rainy days, but the zip is not water-proof, or even not water-resist.
