The DP2DVI2MM6 6 ft DisplayPort® to DVI Adapter Cable lets you connect a DVI Display or Projector to a DisplayPort video card/source. Providing a connection distance of 6ft, the cable features male DVI and DisplayPort connectors, allowing you to make a direct video card-to-display connection, as opposed to having to use an adapter with a separate cable.

The DP to DVI cable is a convenient, cost-effective solution for taking full advantage of your DVI display, without the expense of upgrading to a DisplayPort monitor. The cable offers high quality construction and supports high bandwidth video resolutions up to 1920x1200 or HDTV resolutions up to 1080p.

More Reliable Compared to other Brands
I have purchased several different brands of adapters over time. The one brand that has still not failed me are the StarTech adapters and cables. So far so good
Just started using these cables for a new deployment. Have not had any issues yet but it is still early. They seem to be well built and function well.

The DP end bends too easily
For the price, these are not worth the purchase. These are notorious for bending/snapping off the Display Port Connection. An issue I feel could be resolved by reducing the size of the DP Connection's end or reinforcing it.

The cables in a batch non working or causing displays blink randomly driving whole IT crew nuts and causing downtime and time loss for troubleshooting.

Worked like a charm !!
This was a very easy installation for dual monitors and it only took a few minutes to set up.
