This 6ft DisplayPort 1.2 cable provides a secure connection between your DisplayPort-equipped devices, and is capable of providing higher performance than either HDMI or dual-link DVI.

Astonishing Picture Quality
This DP to DP cable supports high resolutions of up to 4K x 2K (4096x2160, 60Hz) with a maximum HBR2 bandwidth of 21.6Gbps, as well as optional audio support. The DisplayPort cable also supports Multi-Stream Transport (MST) for daisy chaining multiple monitors.

Broad Compatibility
This 6ft cable is DisplayPort (VESA) certified to support DP 1.2 specifications and ensure a high-quality, reliable connection for all of your DisplayPort devices. It ensures that digitally protected content is displayed properly, with both HDCP and DPCP capability.

As well, this Display Port 1.2 cable is backward compatible with DisplayPort 1.1 to ensure you’re not limited to only DP 1.2 devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stopped working Stopped working after about 6 months. Monitor says no signal when computer comes out of sleep. Unplugged, replugged, rebooted, turned off/on... nothing. Bought another brand and monitor started working again. Who would have thought a cable would stop working all of a sudden? It wasn't moved, pulled, or stretched in any way, just stopped working!

In 4k I can get between 30-59Hz but sometimes (2-3x a year) I get a black screen I need to unplug and replug the cable. Compared to Primecable these Displayport cables from Startech are way better. I am a small reseller from Canada.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Startech - Please Clearly Label Your Cables This cable works great for my set-up, ASUS motherboard Prime Z370-A connected to AOC monitor I2769Vm. It is higher spec than needed for HD to future proof it for 4K and it looks good build quality. I would happily buy again. What was disappointing the physical cable (I'm not talking about the sales packaging) had no displayport standards marked on it like "DPv1.2 HBR2" or the Startech product code, not helpful when reconfiguring/diagnosing issues, in years to come. Until this is resolved I suggest customers label their Startech cables to save lots of frustration with wasted time and money. From an experienced IT professional.
