What do you like best about the product?

Skype offers a simple interface that makes video calling and messaging easy, even for people who aren't very tech-savvy. It works well with Microsoft tools like Outlook, and hosting group calls is strightforward without needing complicated setups. File sharing and screen sharing work well, which is useful during client presentations or team meetings.

What do you dislike about the product?

Skype doesn't include some modern collaboration features found in newer tools. Its performance can suffer with slower internet connections, especially during video calls with many participants. The mobile app can sometimes lag or crash during long sessions. When you compare it to platforms like Zoom or Microsoft Teams, Skype seems somewhat old-fashioned in terms of its user interface and meeting features.

What do you like best about the product?

My favorite thing about Skype is how easy and comfortable it is. Even if one is not very techy, the UI is clear and simple to use. I really value how dependable it is for voice and video chats, particularly for conducting brief meetings or checking up with friends. I can easily utilize the screen sharing feature on multiple devices, and it's very convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?

sometimes feels a bit outdated compared to VC tools. The performance can be inconsistent, especially video quality or call drops when the internet connection isn't smooth. Also, it consumes more memory than others, which slows things down. I

What do you like best about the product?

I'm someone from the Yahoo Messenger era, and when I first discovered Skype, I instantly liked it. It had a great design and one of the best features ever — automatic call answering. That feature alone made sure you'd never miss a call, whether it was from work, friends, or family. Even today, most apps can't match that convenience. Creating a Skype account back then was simple and unique, especially with the custom Skype ID. But things started going downhill after Microsoft bought it. Now, you're forced to sign in with a Microsoft email, which made everything unnecessarily complicated.

What do you dislike about the product?

Skype used to be a great application—until Microsoft took over. What was once simple, fast, and reliable slowly became a mess. And now in 2025, Skype has been officially shut down. Classic Microsoft move: buy a good product, make it worse and worse, and then kill it off completely. If you ask me, "What do you dislike about Skype?" — the answer is everything since Microsoft took control. Before that, Skype was easy to use and had no major issues.
