DO NOT BUY, one you have to create a samsung account just to "activate" the smart hub to use apps like netflix, being forced to create an account that just farms your info is wild to me, also there are ZERO audio outputs on this tv besides hdmi arc lol laughable at best, one feature i hated right off the bat is how it was turning on my ps5 without me telling it too because i plugged it in the hdmi port , i would not recommended this tv or any samsung tv to anyone i know

Watch out for the QR code
TV is all good. I had a bad experience with the product registration part. I scanned the QR code on the screen and followed the link to what I thought was for registering the product. It turned out to be a site for purchasing a subscription for Digital VPN. Do not scan the QR, use the option to register by using the TV remote

Expect to pay $250.00 more for a sound bar!
Cannot use my previous sound system! Limited output options likely designed purposely to get you to pay 250.00 more to get their soundbar. I also cannot find how to enter a space between words when entering text for searching! I was looking for the Sanctuary series by Amanda Tapping and could not narrow the large number of results down because all I could tye was "sanctuaryamandatapping" for which there were no matches. I really used to like how good Samsung products were and how common sense they were to operate. I was a fan since the 80s THs is why I went with a Samsung smart TV. Now I am thinking of taking it back.

Don’t Buy Samsung 70” TV- it’s from the 1990s
I wanted a slightly larger TV so I thought I was “upgrading” from my previous 55” TCL to the 70” Samsung- wrong! The Samsung picture is fine, maybe a little better than my 5-year old TCL, but the interface is AWFUL and so is the remote, which apparently cannot be upgraded in any meaningful way. The Home Screen is overly complicated and won’t take you to your recently watched nor will it easily let you add apps or channels, and once you add them you can’t see them on the Home Screen. The Samsung assumes you want to control the TV with your phone and therefore assumes that only the phone-owner will want to control the TV. The remote seems like it’s from 1990s and has no microphone capability, meaning you have to type in every letter on screen to search for a title or channel, like in the 1990s. If you want to type a search in easier you have to do it on your phone through Samsung’s clunky app. Hate this TV.

Great TV but Remote is poorly performed.
Bought during the Thanksgiving time and it has been a great addition to my home. However I feel the remote lacks in performance. I tried to change with a set of new batteries and it doesn't work seamlessly at times. It lags a lot with the performance. I have to press multiple times to perform any action. The remote also lacks a basic feature of giving oral commands which i feel should be there.

I have now had my tv long enough to have an opinion and it is good. Super easy to set up, great picture and sound, lots of great apps installed and lots more to chose and install. Idiot proof menu. Remote leaves a lot to be desired, not very responsive.

No sound output for sound system
I am satisfied with the picture. I am very disappointed that the TV has no hard sound output connection to my sound Sony model STR-DG710 sound system. I do not want to buy a sound bar as I have a sound system that works fine. I do have a Sony blue ray dvd that works just fine with the hdmi connection. I would like to connect my sound system.

Nothing. We have TV on quality turn table, and if you move the tv by a centimeter, it loses picture. It takes at least 8 minutes or longer to get a picture again. Our old Samsung set up was better. This set up, was twice the price. And Geek Squad set up.

Bought a 70in samsung crystal led about 8 months ago. There's dark or black spots sometimes. I've Googled to try to find an answer and I'm stumped. All I've ever owned is Samsung appliances TVs phones I'm really disappointed with this TV.

Great TV. Not a fan of the remote.
I love our big TV. The only thing I don’t like is the remote how you adjust the sound. If you don’t get it exactly right, it goes to some other screen and you gotta hit some other button to shut some ladies voice off.
I’m sure there must be some way to change that but for right now it’s just stupid.

I was so excited to have a larger and newer TV, but this Samsung 70” with sound bar and woofer speaker has been a complete disappointment. My biggest complaint is that it doesn’t have an optical port to plug in my seinhauser headphones and I haven’t been able to find an adapter to use. It’s been an adjustment using the programing for the Samsung. It doesn’t always keep track of what you’ve been watching in the “continue watching” row and if I don’t write down what and where I’ve been watching it’s a challenge to find it again.
Also sometimes when I choose a show and click on it it goes to another show and I have to go back several times to get it to start or give up! Sorry Samsung I don’t like knocking your product and my previous TV was a Samsung, with no issues.

There is not even a single thing that could go wrong with this TV. For the price I paid I was a little skeptical about the video quality. I have also seen speakers to be really horrible for a TV at this price range. I am happy to say that none of those have been issues. The audio is good enough that you don't even need any fancy external speakers. Overall, great value for money.

Remote functions not so great
The only problem I have is with the remote. It has buttons for 1 click to get to Netflix, Prime and Samsung TV. The issue is that when you press one of these, it doesn't always go directly there. Esp Samsung TV channels. It takes you to the home page and you have to press a few buttons and search for TV, or keep hitting the back button till it's goes to TV. Just a bit irritating.

I'm 63 years old so all I do is watch TV. Every electronics I own is samsung. My TV, sound bar, tablet and phone. I never had a problem with any of them.
The TV remote let's you go to Netflix and Amazon channels with a touch of a button. I'm hoping on buying a 85 inch if I could save the money. Samsung products are very reasonably priced. Buy a samsung and you'll never go back.

The picture quality, color accuracy especially skin tones was much better on my 8 year old LG! No matter what adjustments I make to the picture settings on the Samsung DU7200 the color does not stand out like Samsung advertises. Flesh tones are yellowish green, or pale looking. Looks like a dead person. I have tried movie mode, standard mode, etc. etc. Sorry I didn’t purchase the Sony Bravia 3, but chose Samsung because it was $300.00 less. You get what you pay for

Great picture but not user friendly.
Great picture, not user friendly and the remote is a disaster. The tv screen has an amazing picture. The remote is so gard to operate and it’s responsiveness is not good at all. Most of the time I just sign in to my phone under the app and try to work it that way it’s much easier but still has its own complications. That is the only gripe I have about this TV is how bad the remote is.

Great features and TV
This TV replaced one that had a problem covered under an extended warranty that was too costly to repair, so it was replaced with a newer model. We love our Samsung which has a great picture and color, as well as love the additional Samsung channels. I do not like the newer remotes- they are not disabled or elderly
Friendly but can be replaced with the old model remotes to make it easier to use. Great tv!

Great picture, but that is it. regret
The visual quality is very good, but that is about it. The interface is just very user not user friendly. You cannot customize nearly anything, nor can you have it set to load on a specific input. Everything apparently has to go through the messy and cluttered home screen. The sound is weak, I will have to invest in some better speakers or a soundbar, because if there is any noise nearby you cannot hear well. The remote is very basic and apparently it is VERY hard to get any other remote to work with Samsung, especially if you want to use voice input. I should have went with a better brand.

We called Best Buy and they sent out Geek Squad and set up TV it is better than we expected! Exceptional clarity crystal clear picture and easy to navigate apps. Great TV!
