Backlights off on half of the screen.
TV worked great for 2 years and 11 months. Then half of the screen went black. I was told by Best Buy that they don’t repair this problem. The price of a repair would be almost as much as a new TV . I paid $20 for a Samsung pamphlet that was described as directions on replacing the backlights. Only it did not include those instructions.

I regret buying Samsung now
I’ve had my tv since 2022 (it’s 2025 now) so it’s only about 2 and a half years old.
TV is, and always has been, super slow and laggy. But the worst part is that last night, out of nowhere, half of the screen just went completely dark. Now all of the sudden, the entire screen just went completely black and I can’t see anything.
My TV is not that old, and I took really good care of it, it shouldn’t be breaking down this early on. But the worst part of all is that customers support told me the price to fix it will be almost as much as buying a new TV all together. I feel so ripped off. I regret going with Samsung now.

Volume won’t work
This TV has so many issues!! About once per month I have to reset the factory settings to be able to change the volume. The color is also not great.

Amazing TV
I bought mine about 3 weeks ago and love it. The picture clarity is awesome. I finally have the perfect black coloring and brighness where it should be. It did take a few days to get all the settings just perfect, but it was worth it. The tv is also fast when switching from one source or app to another.

Disappointing life of Samsung TV
I bought this TV IN Feb 2022. We enjoyed the TV and picture for 2 1/2 years until the picture went black on the whole left side. Very disappointed that this Samsung TV only lasted 2 1/2 years. Don’t plan to buy another Samsung!!!

Had less than 2 years already having issues. Volume just won't work, won't go up or down. Replace the remote thinking that would help it didn't. Highly disappointed had my old flat screen over 10 years only replaced because we wanted a bigger TV.

Multi Screen Effective
Got this TV on sale, I do not regret this purchase at all. I like to stream sports and one thing that I love it does, is that I can have the screen split in have and watch 2 events at the same time. One screen mirror from my phone and the other from my tv source. It is very practical and cool to have. Also the remote control is rechargeable with my phone cable (usb-c type) and solar as well.
I rate it 4 because it does have it's downsides to it, I feel like the sound on it is not as loud as it suppose to be when you do try to put it super loud (specially when watching a tv show or movies) , you would need a speaker or a sound bar to get that rich and crisp sound out of it. Other than that, it is a pretty cool tv,. Seems durable, I have a 3 year old kid and he's thrown toys at the screen and it has survived with No scratches nor dents nor cracks on the screen. Very well made for child proof ??. *I have not removed the screen plastic protector it came with and my son tried pulling it off.

Good budget friendly TV
After watching/reading reviews, I settled on this model. So far, it has been a reliable TV. I chose this model over the 7000 do to the reviews. It was supposed to be better at refresh rate on faster video such as sports and/or games. For the most part it does the job, but still get some ghosting/pixelation within the video. It has enough HDMI ports to handle the normal everyday amount of devices. It works well as a monitor for my laptop. All in all it's a good all around budget TV.

Failed backlight, seems to be a common problem
Lcd Backlight failed after 4 years. It's expensive and a pain in the butt to repair myself. So I bought myself a Sony. I won't consider a Samsung TV in the future.

Great tv
We bought this tv over a month ago to replace our 10 year old 60in. Samsung tv which finally stopped working. That being said ,the old tv was on an average of 12-14 hours a day 7 days a week. That’s over 40,000 hours of use. That says something about Samsung and it’s quality. We will never own another brand tv. And this new Samsung tv is great.

First TV had a black screen. It would not work until I reviewed same problems on U tube and reset the TV.
Nevertheless , I requested a replacement which arrived a week later. guess what?? It didn’t work at all .
Blue screen. Blinking .
I am waiting to receive the third one. Just to see if Samsung can get it right !!’

Works part of the time
This television works great when it works as designed. It glitches out and freezes on multiple streaming apps and often requires a forced restart. If you attempt airplay or screen share through bluetooth or using a connecting cable then it distorts the image, puts green lines through it or locks up. I think the concept of the tv is great and love the size, when it works.

Incredible picture and a suite of rich features
This has been a wonderful upgrade from our 10 yo set that recently died. We use this for streaming shows, movies, gaming, music, photos, connecting our smartphones and tablets. As we have mostly Samsung devices in the house, connecting all of the devices is quite easy and seamless and managing the TV via SmartThings is a wonderful feature to have. We enjoy the wireless connectivity available as we do use Bluetooth speakers to connect when watching shows late at night and don't want to disturb others asleep in the house.
There is a rich suite of features available that we are still exploring. The available on-screen guides are helpful and the simple remote is a wonderful change from more complex universal remotes.
While the television is slightly larger than we had wanted, we loved the clear, crisp picture, the slim size and the ease of use for all of our needs.

Power Source Issues
I bought this tv today and plugged it in to make sure it was working. Within 5 minutes, the manual power switch area became blazing hot where it actually burnt my thumb. When I returned the TV to Best Buy, i went to check out the power switch area on the model TV. Although it was not as hot as the one I bought, it was fairly warm. If you feel the back of the LG TV or other brands, they are not hot to the touch. This tells me these TV's have a power source issue and is probably why so many burn out early. The sales person confirmed my thoughts.

Great 2023 65" Crystal UHD
We use it for antenna, cable, streaming, and Blu-ray sources. It switches between sources easily too. The picture quality is excellent, especially for Blu-ray movies. The sound quality suits us very well. Its built-in smarts and apps have been a pleasure to use.

Good while it lasted. I bought this TV in 2021 and it was ok. WIFI wasn’t the best as it would lag and freeze often. The picture quality was awesome until it decided to go crap on me. Exactly 3 years from purchase half my screen is dark and it stayed like that. I did everything Samsung recommended and nothing. Going to a different brand. Note: I travel so I don’t watch TV as often so I was very disappointed when this happened.

Software bug
I bought this about a year ago and the picture is fine but it has what seems to be a software bug. The volume control ceases to work. All other functions on the remote work fine. The volume cannot even be adjusted with the control on the TV itself.
When I disconnect then re-connect the power to the TV, the volume control works for about a day, then stops working again.
I have the latest firmware for the TV, and I have tried resetting the Sound Settings to the factory default, and also completely resetting the tv to factory defaults.

I watch my subscriptions on my tv because watching on a 10” screen was not hitting it anymore.
When I got it I tried the XBox and to me a non gamer it was fine for my blue moon gaming, friends loved it and they did not complain about influencers say people would complain about, so don’t take what all they say as gospel.
One day I noticed a line going through the screen but i figured that it was the movie but it wasn’t. Called customer service and they sent a tech he tested and replaced the screen, he was great and we talked about HotD while he fixed tv.
All in all my Crystal tv works and the picture is great, customer service was helpful and courteous and the home technicians are fast responsive and respectful of me and my home.
I am moving and will move this 65” Crystal tv into my bedroom and get the Neo QLED 65” for the livingroom.

When I went to pick out my TV, I read alot of reviews and looked at alot of tv's before I settled on the Samsung Crystal UHD 65".
I took it home and have been in love it since and that was 3 yrs ago!
Colors are vivid, the clarity is amazing and I would use the product until it dies on me.

Bought this tv 4 months ago and it won’t turn. Beware when purchasing Samsung products. Their manufacturer warranty warranty is a scam and covers nothing. Customer service and their service technicians is horrible. It’s impossible to get in contact with a service technician and when you actually do it takes months before they’re able to service anything. The service technicians close claims without actually speaking with you or servicing you. Don’t buy you’ll be left with a tv you can’t use and Samsung won’t exchange or refund you even if they’re at fault.

Why cut corners
i just bought one of these tvs haven’t even got it hooked up yet. the reason is that it was apparently just too much for the shareholder’s wallets to send it with spower cord that was long enough to be useful. some people have their cords in a chase in the wall. those cord is just a little shorter than the cords they used to have so i’m going to have to buy another. is this just cheapskates trying to save a penny or is it an a.i. developed strategy to get me to spend more money? either way you lost one customer. i’ll send this back.

I've owned multiple Samsung tvs and this one is by far the best one yet. You can do literally ANYTHING with it. I use it mostly for streaming services and the color and picture quality are amazing. I also screen share with my phone and use it as a monitor sometimes. It has every feature you could want and then some. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I think this is the best TV I’ve ever had. Samsung is the superior option. Crisp and clear. Easy to navigate. Great sound. We have another new tv. Different brand. Same size. And there is zero comparison. Even my five year old tells me how much more she prefers the Samsung. I really don’t know about all the differences in technology to be honest. I just know what I like and this is far superior. Trust Samsung.

The best purchase I've made in years. I've waited for years to finally upgrade my main viewing television and glad I stopped waiting and grabbed this one. It is amazing. The only complaint I have, and it's a minor one, is the sound could be a little better.

It's a television and was priced okay. Just so many televisions out there that you can buy 2 instead of having 1 for the same price. I do like the smart things feature but recently other brands have also adapted to remote use with your phone. The speakers are also okay, like all televisions nowadays required a separate sound system.

On the Hook with my Samsung TV
Initially, I was not very happy because I was using another brand, OH Am I sooo Pleasantly SURPRISED with my Samsung TV...... I LOOOOOve the display, the quality is so clear I feel I am part of the show that is happening on the tv and surely help is the digital sound without an external speaker, I can feel the surround sound... Now Samsung TV, WOWWW I am on the HOOOK.... Thank You, Samsung. Did you know there is a live background when you are not using the Tv such as a firepit for a room romance ambiance, or digital picture display, lol ... Now I attached my Samsung surround speakers, and I can hear the heartbeat of an actor in a movie, lol .... ohhhh yeaaaa

Using this TV to stream from my Samsung phone, or Tablet is so easy. The picture quality is awesome. We can switch between the TV, or Samsung refrigerator screen super fast and the TV even tells us when the refrigerator door has been left open.

Wifi issues with this model. Buyer beware.
This is my 4th Samsung and this model constantly disconnects from wifi. It is right next to the router. It won’t reconnect unless reselect the ssid and enter password. This is the only tv with this issue in the house. Support is useless. I saw a firmware upgrade was released but only available via usb. Since TV is mounted, I cannot get usb drive inserted. Why isn’t it available from the TV menu? Support tries to blame the ISP and points to fixes that have been done already, like reset the TV back to factory. I hate this TV and now will not but another Samsung. Overpriced.

Amazing Picture and Refresh Rate!!!
First off I have to say that when it comes to the world of Television, Samsung is light years ahead of the Competition. They are like the singer The Weeknd, in the sense that everything they put out is amazing. Now this work of art is the best TV I have had the opportunity to purchase. Now they make better models and if you can afford them then I most certainly would take that route. But this one I have is great. The Refresh Rate is super fast and the PICTURE IS SO CLEAR. It's like your in the movie, show, or sporting event. It's such a pleasure to STREAM your favorite service the processor is very fast in these TVs, there's no lag or latency. Can't say enough good things about the entire company. Everything I own is SAMSUNG. SO THAT SHOULD EXPLAIN EVERYTHING. Cause I don't buy junk. I work in Television, Sports broadcasting to be specific. So I think I should know a little bit.

I live alone so my TV is my only companion. Life comes alive on my Samsung TV, I can't get the sound right. It sounds like a transistor radio. I really can't afford to buy anything more right now.

My previous Samsung TV went blank one day. My partner and I was able to find this specific tv and loved the deal. Using this TV for a few months now has proven that can you can get great quality for a good deal. I definitely love the new remote. The volume can seem low sometimes, depending on shows. Also, the new legs on this TV is what I wanted my first Samsung TV to have but didn't. Picture is awesome and watching John Wick 4 on the 65 inch was a treat!

I love the Dex program on my phone so I use it as a giant entertainment and live streaming computer. Really gets the job done in social environments. I bought this TV for my personal out house but since I paired it with my PS5, book3 360 pro, and samsung earbuds I stay in the outhouse majority of the time.

Just got this TV..the picture..not very good..try Adjusting it, but. The only good picture I can get is on standard setting. All the others seem out of focus. Can't seem to get a very clear picture. The TV I replaced has a better picture. Then this brand new one. The old TV is 9 years old.

The picture quality has has been amazing wither it be on streaming services, gaming, or on youtbe , it would never lag or the audio lag witch was amazing. I would always come home and watch my shows and relax . The only thing I have to complain about
Would have to be the price . My 3 yr old autistic son absolutely loved wating a ocean documentary , it would calm him down instantly no matter but one day I think he thought he would be able to swim with the fishes and needless to say my amazing samsung tv is no more I had to downgrade because I'm a single dad on a budget
And I can definitely tell everything about my samsung tv was 1000 times better

I read other reviews before buying this model, but they all were positive, yet I've had so many issues with this TV. The picture is the best part - but the Tizen OS is awful. Slow, clunky, glitchy etc... I've already had to have the mother board replaced once already by Samsung but the issues continue, with the biggest one being the input switches without touching anything - and that is maddening during football games! The Paramount+ App seems to be the most problematic - not sure if it's Samsung or the App. Debating on getting another Apple TV to use as the interface instead of Tizen because, like I said, the picture quality is very good.

We love Samsung TV's including this one. The only thing we don't like is that it when you turn it on it opens up to Samsung TV and starts playing right away. I would prefer to be able to turn that feature off until we go to an APP and open it.

So slow to load. Poor image.
The boot time on this TV was sooo slow. Like.. 40 seconds.. I took a video I was so annoyed. Picture was mid. Ended up returning the TV for a gift card and bought an LG C2. Even though I know have a $700 gift card I probably won't use it is better than dealing with this TV.

I've had this TV for about a year now and I can honestly say it's the best TV I've ever had. The picture quality is amazing. It's crisp and clear, and with the settings, you can adjust it to your liking. The sound quality could be a bit better but that can be fixed by simply adding a soundbar. If you stream, as I do, you'll find it has all the apps you would want it to have plus some. It comes programmed with Samsung TV Plus which provides you many channels to watch free. The setup is a breeze as is adding all your apps. All in all, you will find that this TV is top notch.

When it comes to response time it's been the best
Being able to connect and ha e it recognize my PS5 has been helpful for easy swapping when needed. Plus the easy set up and app management has been far better than any other brand of TV I've owned.
It was also a fun bonus to see the Samsung TV channels available, and being a huge Kpop stan, having a channel on there was a nice surprise!

Had this TV sincddFeburary and nothing but issues. The wifi constantly needs to be reset and reconnected.
Support just goes through the same steps to reset the TV and then blames my router. Yet every other Samsung TV works just fine in my house.
Have had to pull plug out to get TV to be responsive.
Overpriced TV. Much better TVs out there for cheaper.
Stay away from the cu8000 series.

Best TV so far
I had to buy this TV because my 2019 Samsung 65-in stopped working. When I called in it turned out that it would cost me about $100 less than buying a new one to get someone to come out to fix it. So that's what I did. I bought a new TV and it's been great. And I could set it up. Even me at 70 years old did not have too much trouble because of your fantastic customer .jbr

Roommate got this TV about a month ago and holy cow the difference in the colors and the quality of this TV is just beyond what I thought was possible for TV and the black colors look extra dark even in full brightness 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a good TV for their living room

I'm disappointed. The TV requires a HD cable TV connection for the best picture which can be quite costly. Without the HD connection the picture is low quality. They should have warned me at Best Buy. I would have chosen another TV.

it's universal to every device I own, Samsung Tab s8+, flip5 phone, pro 2 buds. it also has no trouble receiving cast stream from meta quest 2 and Sonos sound system.
The interface is user friendly, even for someone without Samsung or android experience. I'll have this TV for years to come.

Spectacular screen display
Between our sons toddler educational shows and when I can snag some mom time to play my games or watch my series at the time. It's like your live viewing with the sound def and the crystal clear screen. It's amazing to say the least. Don't regret buying it at all. Our son sure can't get enough of it and his laughing makes you think he's live screen.

Not very good image quality when source is dark
Image is good as long as you're not watching a movie or something dark. The screen looks cloudy, with uneven backlight. The only way it goes away is by lowering the brightness to under 10, which does not help during the day nor with sharpness.

Remote is crap. Tried reboots, unplugs, etc. Remote is flaky since firat use. Won't power on tv 90% of the time. Bought at best buy and may try to return it even though it has been 40 days...

Worst tv/remote i have ever owned. Purchased at BestBuy, Had to purchase a cable to charge the solar remote, charge lasts about a week. Tv totally locks up every 2 days or so. I purchased this 65" Samsung to replace my older 65" that I purchased for less than 1/2 the price online a couple years ago ( still works without a flaw). I thought the Samaung would have a sharper picture , but not a bit. Last purchase in a local store.

Terrible quality
Bought this in July and have had problems since the 2nd week. Horizontal lines appeared and Samsung keeps sending their tech partner to work on it, however it persists. Remote works about 3/4 of the time, even when fully charged. Apps freeze and causes the tv to restart often. Would not recommend this TV- spend a little more and get a better quality or different brand.

I bought this Samsung 65" TV about 5 weeks ago and there is no port for my head phone. What would it cost to install a $10.00 plug in port? I have not contacted Costco yet. But I"m going to ask if I can exchange for something with a head phone port, for I have a hard time hearing.

I got a lemon…
Bought this about a month back, watched for three or four days, before the glitching, resetting, freezing up and restarting/shutting down began. It’s now sitting in my spare room until I get a moment to, once again, sit on the phone with another Samsung rep, who will walk me thru a reset, the tV will work for a few hours and then right back to the same issues. I’m sure it will be an awesome TV, as soon as Samsung schedules a repair that actually sticks.

This product has some really cool features. I like how it includes on t.v apps such as Netflix YouTube and my favorite Paramount+. I do recommend this purchase to everyone. It fit nicely on my wall. Easy to mount and the picture tube is vibrant. Yet im thinking about upgrading to the 70in real soon. Not to mention the deal on this product is a plus. A must have for sure.

I got this TV for my birthday just this month it’s February and so far it’s working fine. It has beautiful pictures I have my sound bar hooked up to it. It works very good. I definitely would recommend it.

I have had nothing but issues since I purchased this tv in Dec 2023, 4-5 service calls regarding motherboard and now have issues with the sound. They refuse to replace, says you have to have several service calls, but I explained you took my money in one click, so disappointed in Samsung.

I bought this 65" TV to replace our 55" TV and the results were astonishingly breath taking with true to life colors, clarity and a spectacular view.
We mounted the TV to our existing wall mount system and the setup was a breeze.
The numerous features offered on this TV like connecting to our other wireless and Bluetooth devices like remote speakers and door bell cameras are a bonus.
Now we can watch TV and truly enjoy the experience of having our very own home theater.

Replace first one, which quit working. Now have TU690T and within 3 months has narrow line going across screen. Will be replacing this one and buying a different brand. this one is under warranty thanks.

I also upgraded our DVD player to 4K UHD Blu ray Player and the combination with Samsung CU 8000 TV is awesome. Picture and audio is outstanding ! Like nothing I have ever seen outside of a Manhattan large screen movie theater with special audio speakers. Samsung is the best !
