Samsung was the best choice I made
I purchased a new television from Samsung online. The purchase was easy, the television is easy to use and the picture is perfect! There was an issue and Samsung corrected it with one phone call. They want their customers to have the best experience. I have told everyone about my experience with this purchase and will continue to spread the word. A needed visual and audible experience
Purchased before the holidays and I'm blown away. I use mostly for movies, sports, and gaming. Some folks say sports don't look great, those people are wrong. The color, clarity, and gaming features are fantastic. The seamless integration with our Q-Series Sound Bar delivering a Q-Symphony feature creates an rich audible experience as well. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. If you're on the fence of QLED vs OLED, the experience with the Q80D has been incredible.

Awesome Picture Quality
My Samsung 65" QLED 4K Q80D television is awesome and I highly recommend this panel if you are looking to purchase. I got a great deal on it from Amazon. I like to watch Football and the clarity of this panel is the best I've watched. You can actually see the scratches, water droplets and sweat on players helmets. I currently own two Samsung's, the other is a 35" on top of my refrigerator. I've had great luck with the Samsung brand. I made the purchase to upgrade from my Sony 1080p LED Bravaria 55" which I put in my bedroom. I can't wait to watch Super Bowl LIX. If you're looking at new panel, this one would be a great choice.

Bought around Thanksgiving of 2024, 65” qled 4k , have fiddled around with the brightness and contrast adjustments several times. Pictures not as sharp as I expected it to be. Disappointed!

Broken within two weeks and no service response
Not great. First QLED TV was shipped in July - it was damaged. By September, received its replacement. Used it for 2 weeks, then left for season. Just arrived back Feb 1, and after one day a large black vertical panel appeared on the left side of the screen. Called remote tech, they had me do a factory reset (along with a lot of other attempts) - nothing removed the black panel that cuts off part of the picture. They put in a service order and told me I should get a call to schedule a service tech to come to my home. A day later, the whole screen went black - with some shaded blue. Two days later, I called to ask why I hadn't received a call - they said they don't count weekends. Now it is four days later, and I still haven't heard from the service department. Can't believe that I've only used this TV for about two weeks and it doesn't work...and Samsung doesn't provide any response to an issue that was logged for a repair.

Samsung QLED is a great TV. Picture is flawless. Only flaw- this a major one. The base in the middle is terrible. Worst idea ever. Tv wobbles and I always feel like I’m gonna get up in the morning and it’s going to be on the floor. I replaced it with an after market one. Like the original one-2 feet- one on each side. I’m not the only one that thinks this. I have 2 friends who also have this tv and have also replaced the base back to the original style.

Got a great deal at Best Buy, upgrading from a 2020 Crystal UHD. The larger screen and FALD panel makes a big difference in brightly lit rooms. The new calibration support with SmartThings is also appreciated.
Colors look accurate, HDR content looks vivid, and overall UI is snappy. It pairs great with my Samsung Soundbar with QSymphony.
Happy with my purchase thus far, hoping it will last me the next couple of years.

I use my TV for everything; binge watching shows, movies both old and new, games on PS5 and VR, music through the TV apps and casting, Virtual meetings both personal and professional, managing my Samsung hub with all my other Samsung products which is very easy and convenient and managing security features. This is the 2nd QLED 4K TV I've owned and by far, really really far, this technology surpasses all other brands and models out there. Although on the pricer side of compared TVs across the board, you get exactly what you pay for. If you are like me, having everything centralized makes life so much more easier and sweeter. I am a forever Samsung owner and wouldn't have it any other way. The features of this TV are out amazing. You can see all of the details when viewing anything. From facial wrinkles to object sound tracking, gives me the experience as if I were right there on set with them or in the movies. I've compared this model to others and no other non-Samsung model can come close to what this model can deliver. I would go bigger on the size if I were to upgrade, but keep the same model. Going with this model was the best choice I made and am very very satisfied with my decision. I recommend everyone give it a try, because once you have that experience you'll settle for nothing less, guaranteed!

So Far So Good
I purchased this tv to replace the one in my living room. I've not hooked up my ultra high speed eARC HDMIcables yet, but even so the picture quality is fantastic. The set up (smartphone option) was incredibly easy. I have a Q800D soundbar coming today and my new cables, so I anticipate that the picture quality will be even better. I've only had the tv a few days, but I am very pleased with my purchase so far.

Replaced a 55" Sony Bravia now hung in the porch.
This 65" is perfectly sized for our MBR. The colors are terrific and not over saturated. I've got it on the 4k setting and it's a lovely, uncomplicated picture with no stray pixels.
The sound is surprisingly good for a mid priced model that's not hooked into a soundbar with no separate bass booster. Full and rich sound dispersion.
BTW, I never give anything a "5",but this product is a 4.5

They will never deliver as they promise
I ordered my TV on Black Friday. I scheduled the delivery for three weeks later to make sure I get them on time. I track my delivery every single day up to the day of delivery when I received a phone call stating that the TV won't get delivered until a week later. I ordered the TV for a birthday party so kids could play games. Now I am left without a TV on day of the birthday. THANKS SAMSUNG!

65" replaces 55"
This replaced a 55" Bravia that's now residing on our outside deck. As a MBR TV it's very solid in it's picture clarity, color saturation and depth.
Might have given it a 5, except for the lack of Fine tuning the sound - mine tends to be "bassy" and could benefit from a treble adjustment.
Overall a very good performer, especially at the price point.

Great TV, great upgrade from previous models
This TV rocks!
I upgraded to the Q80D from an older model and wow, what a difference! The picture quality is incredible. Quantum HDR+ really makes everything look so lifelike, with vibrant colors and amazing detail. Even in dark scenes, you can see everything clearly.
I'm a big gamer, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes a huge difference. No more motion blur, even in fast-paced games. And the sound is awesome too! Dolby Atmos creates this immersive experience that makes you feel like you're right in the middle of the action.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
* Viewing angles: It looks best when you're sitting right in front of it. If you're off to the side, the picture isn't quite as good.
* Glare: I have it in a pretty bright room, and sometimes there's a bit of glare on the screen.
Overall:
Despite those minor things, I absolutely love this TV! It's a huge upgrade from my old one, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing 4K experience.

The sound quality is poor. I had to get a sound bar with a subwoofer to get decent sound.
Also, I hate the remote. You can't just hit a button to go straight to the channel you want or go back to the channel you previously watched. You've added 5 or 6 steps to the process. Very annoying!
However, the picture is good.

This is the best tv I have ever owned. My other two TV’s are Sony 4K and have great pictures but this Samsung QLED is much better. I also like how it connected with the 5.1.2 Samsung Sound Bar. Finally, I like how it comes on when entering the room ready for viewing.

This tv was a replacement for original tv that was covered under warranty. Sound Did not work correctly out of the box.It took them 3 months to replace original now I'm trying to get this one replaced it's been three weeks since I ordered the replacement and now they are saying it's not available. Samsung support is absolutely no help.Do not by this or any other Samsung tv.

The User Interface on this TV is very disappointing. My 3,other smart TVs are Amazon Fire TVs and I can very easily see and read everything on the screen from my seated position. This UI has too much information squeezed onto each screen so everything is too small.

Very good midrange TV with a few niggling issues
I've had this TV now for approx. 5 months. Overall happy with the TV but it has a few shortcomings that should not be. On the good side the picture quality is excellent especially for a midrange model. Sound is good although I don't use the built-in speakers. The compact remote is excellent, I have not missed having a full size remote at all. The OS is reasonably quick and, so far, has had every app I've needed. The OS is where this falls off a bit, for some reason someone thought it would be a good idea to not have a search feature for apps - whomever that was should be let go. Secondly, the text input is unlike... every other text interface on the planet. It does not have a simple delete feature and no tab key. These oversights are inexcusable in what is otherwise a very good TV.

It's a great tv, good sound and picture. Am still learning how to use all the different programming. The thing I am having an issue with is that I cannot find a way to download Chrome so I can use my dishanywhere app. It keeps telling now I need to download either Chrome or Saffari, but no links are given on how to get there and no directions supplied on how to this. Am not exactly a techie, so it would be nice to have something to go by instead of trying to figure it out myself. I have successfully downloaded Chrome on all my computers, but somehow, with this tv, no go.

I brought this TV a week and a half ago. the problem I’ve been having is the remote control those adjusting it is so small it is hard for me to use it because I have large hands. The design is not the greatest. I had to go down to Best Buy and have them show me how to adjust the remote control and I still have problems and I know this I would’ve bought a different brand like I’ve done in the past . I am a senior in my 80s. I have have had televisions of great band brands. This is the only one that I’ve had so much trouble with your manual is not the greatest. This television is not designed for senior people. I had to call the cable company to show me how to hook this thing up because they were having problems. Hope other customers don’t have the same problems. I will not recommend this television to no one. Thank you.

Not so great
Got tv month ago. Not impressed with this samsung product. Everything we have it's by samsung and all of them are great but this tv is big disappointment. Constantly smart hub is crashing and losing internet connection. I need to turn off tv for apx 10 seconds and restart. Contact costumer service but all they want to do is cold restart. I can't explain them it is not helping. All other products stay connected and there is no issue with wifi. Problem is tv. Very disappointed in product but more no willingness from samsung to help.

Love the TV, but have a couple issues.
I love the TV, but it has a blank spot on it. And the installation team didn't put it in the correct spot. Also, I don't know who to call since I purchased it directly online to have someone look at the blank spot.

Good picture, good sound, not good support
This is my first SMART tv purchase. I am an old school kind of person and like the way things used to be, but this is the future so it seemed like I didn't have many options. I like and trust Samsung products so the quality is what I expected. Great picture, great sound etc. However I feel like the supporting documents are wholly lacking. The user manual was fine for set up but for general usage it was worthless. Maybe it's me but I spent more time on line trying to figure out how to add other channels, and apps. I still have no idea how to get them to show on the screen so I can go to them. I tried to hook up my old VCR so I could watch some old tapes and I still have no idea how to do it. The closest I have found is to set the Air channel to 3 or 4 but my channels only go as low as 6.1. The online instructions show me how to search for channels automatically, and if I can't find 3 or 4 that way do a manual search, but the TV doesn't appear to support that. So in the interest of advancing technology they leave too much in the dust and don't make it easy to get support.

Amazing tv
I bought this months ago and it was my first upgrade in over a decade. I'm not sorry I got it at all.
My movies and games look 100x better. And the fact i got it on an exclusive app deal was even better.

My 65" QLED Samsung TV is awesome, except I can't get my soundbar to stay just for the sound bar. I have tired many times to do different things and nothing seems to work. Other thatn that I Love the TV.

No Disappointment - Great Purchase Decision
We have enjoyed our new TV since December when we purchased it as a Christmas present for each other. The color is beautiful, the sound amazing and the way it can hook right into our modem helps with great viewing. No regrets, we wish we had purchased this sooner.

I love the tv. The only drawback is that when watching older shows the sound will go up quite loudly with no warning. I know this happens with commercials but I have never experienced this while during the tv episode. My older 55 inch Samsung does not do this.

Crystal Clear and HUGE sound improvement!
I purchased my new TV prior to the 2025 Super Bowl and it made a world of difference. I still have a 55" UHD Samsung that is going strong at 14 years old, and when switching things over to the larger screen, I also noticed that the Samsung surround sound is even more crisp and clear than before. 10/10 - highly recommend!

Very good screen details, easy to use. The only thing I don't like is that when the electric power or the Internet goes off it don't automatically reconnect to the wifi. Not good when the tv it's connected to smartthings and the automations don't work because the wifi didn't reconnect. As far as the rest of the tv settings it takes practice to get the best screen view. Excellent TV

Great television! My only issue is with the remote design. The included remote, while sleek and beautiful, is too small and difficult to use. Opted for a Samsung-compatible universal remote which offers more girth and precision.

Terribly disappointing
The TV picture quality was lowly. The faces of people were very washed out no matter how much I adjusted the Brightness and Contrast (many differing settings tried). It must have been a defective unit because the reviews I read prior to my purchase were pretty good. So disappointed by the TV viewing experience as well as the Customer Support process. I have had many Samsung TVs over time, but I am now considering Sony or LG because of this recent 2-month+ fiasco.

Crystal clear viewing.
I watch movies, shows and sports (soccer). I was unsure about the size I bought. I thought 65 inches would be too big but it turns out it is the perfect size.
I used to go to the movies once a week but I haven't been to the movies since I got the TV. What's the point of paying when I can watch it at the comfort of my home and my spectacular TV?

Great looking TV
Replaced a reliable but old 1080p LED TV with the Q80D. Love the look of this TV! The blacks are well defined, and the colors are vibrant and really pop. Just watched a new 4k disc of Superman and it's the best I've ever seen the movie look.
The OS is pretty nice, though I did have a bit of a tough time finding the app section. Pleasantly surprised at the number of different video formats it plays on its own from a hard drive. I have a large collection of digital movies and was able to plug a 5tb hard drive into the USB port and play directly from it. Some older .avi files would not play but the newer .mkv and .mp4 files played without a problem, even the newest HEVC files. It has a wider range of capabilities than the 4k player I bought which is nice! Streaming apps available work fine, it streams smoothly. My only quibble with the OS aside from a bit of trouble finding the apps section is that once it starts auto playing the live TV app at startup, it's very difficult to stop it from doing so. I eventually uninstalled Samsung Live TV entirely to get it to stop auto playing at startup or when going into the list of attached devices, after more than a half hour of searching for other ways. Had it been easy to turn off all auto play features throughout the TV I might have given a five star review. Also did not like having to turn off the AI features manually. Don't need any of that, it just makes the TV look worse, faker. But all in all, very pleased with the purchase.

Great performance and value
I got the Q80D for my main living room TV. I can’t afford some of the more advanced versions. After a lot of research I found the Q80D a great balance of cost and performance. The picture is great and the features are awesome. I love all the smart features like app integration and the Samsung TV channels. I was able to combine the TV with a Samsung Soundbar to take advantage of the Q-Symphony which is amazing. I really love this setup.

Great TV for the Price
We bought this TV for the kids' loving room. We watch a lot of sports and movies and do some gaming on it. It has great picture quality. Sound quality is ok. We use a Samsung sound bar but do not like that the TV won't default to the sound bar and that you have to connect it every time you turn the TV on. We love the remote feature on our phones too. It was easy to hang up and set up for all our streaming services was easy too.
