Samsung HW-T650 - sound bar system - wireless is rated 3.00 out of 5 by 63.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound. i was skeptical based on the reviews from different websites and here. i upgraded my soundbar from the first samsung atmos 2016. the q950t sound amazing, after playing with the setting for a few days i'm finally enjoying it. the surround sound speakers sound great, i have a cx65 tv and connected with hdmi and i have no problem playing atmos from different apps. i did notice a little bit of cracking noise from the sub. i'm sure they will do a firmware update to fix and improve issues. what i don't like is the display being on top of the bar. i either use the app to see what the settings are. i also don't like the fabric, i have a pet and it collects all the hairs and is hard to get them off. overall i'm very happy with the system.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Q900T Won't Sync with Q90T TV first the good - easy set up; we find dialogue to be clear; have enjoyed the q symphony. the bad: hdmi cable supplied too short to go through wall from tv to speaker so had to buy rocketfish 8 foot high speed cable. the ugly: spent two days so far trying to get sound to sync with the tv - have adjusted the digital output audio delay (started at 100 out of the box) all the way from 0 to 250 (full range offered) and it's still like watching a foreign film - the people's lips move but the sound is not synced. this is a non-starter. chatted with samsung product assistant who suggested unplugging the feed from the tv, turn off tv and sound bar, re-connect and turn both back on - didn't work as sync problems still persist. will be returning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compared to the Q90R this one is way worse sound is flat. sometime is hard to tell if sound is coming from the tv speakers. i agree with the other reviewers. i should have kept my q90r but i wanted two extra speakers. i am hoping the firmware update coming out will improve things

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible customer experience! samsung has lost its way and does not know how to treat loyal customers. below are a few points:: sound quality - i have both the q90r and the q950t and the q90r actually sounds better. voice quality on this bar is horribly muddy. look- some have complained about the cloth covering on this. for me the wife likes it more than the standart tech looking bar so good enough for me but lets be honest its not a selling point. customer experience - horrible! i purchased this bar and 1 day outside return window of 14 days it goes on sale for $200 off. you would think that samsung would work with me on a price match. nope. well based on the experience ...nope i wont be buying samsung products anymore. they keep my $200 today but my wallet will spend with the competition going forward!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sounds great. Cats have scratched it up. sounds great when watching movies and am getting atmos effects. sound isn't as "full" as my q90r though. i don't know if it's because the q90r has physically larger drivers or if this just needs some firmware updates to tune the sound. the rear speakers also have upward firing drivers for atmos and they work just as well as those that came with my q90r. no issues so far with earc / arc and my lg tv. the only negative is that my cats have already ruined the fabric surfaces. if you have pet cats, i do not recommend this soundbar if you value aesthetics at all. they will ruin its looks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rear speakers worse than Q90R rear speakers connect but give nothing but feedback 90% of the time. smart things app shows a firmware update but it doesnt actually update. no applicable support page, it just shows “this isnt available.” for $1,799 this is a trainwreck. released woth no support and terrible conmectivity. i recommend staying far, far away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sometimes, this soundbar is amazing! this soundbar is capable of providing deeply immersive sound, it is loud and crisp and sounds are accurately placed around the room. initially, my samsung 4k blu-ray player had very bad sync issues and the subwoofer would pop and crack. samsung support fixed those things. qsymphony rarely works well. mainly it muddies the dialogue, to the point where it is incomprehensible. having the soundbar's screen on top is ridiculous. auto-calibration would be nice. the fabric is difficult to dust. alexa does not work well, and regularly interrupts viewing. once enabled, it is hard to get rid of alexa, but you can turn the microphone off. this results in a red light on the front of the soundbar. and the bass is simply not very powerful, even turned up to full.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Q950T - Over-promises and Under-delivers - who puts the led display on top of the soundbar? - the quality of the dialog/voice is terrible! q90r seemed way better here. especially for atmos content, the dialog is inaudible. - there are four sound modes. adaptive has better dialog, but rear speakers seem quieter, while surround gives me better rear speaker performance, at the cost of dialog. - the soundbar downscales lpcm 5.1/7.1 to pcm! this practically makes the soundbar useless to apple tv users like me! - there is no option for room calibration which lg soundbars offer. overall, for a price of nearly $2k, the soundbar almost feels like a white elephant in my living room, that over-promises and under-delivers. unless a firmware update with fixes comes soon, i am on the verge of returning this soundbar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Q Symphony will require a call to tech support q symphony will not function out of the box on a 2020 qled unit until tech support can resolve issues on their end from my experience thus far. after this is resolved i will write a more detailed review. scrren share to tech support- technicians only setvice menu and a level 2 or 3 tech support is what i need to resolve this. thank you

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure if I made a good purchase yet not sure how many hours i have dedicated to manage to connect the rear and subwoofer speakers. i am still unable to get them connected. i followed the instructions, make sure that it has the latest firmware. it seems that samsung team is unable to help me. what i get until now is just someone reading me back what it is written in the manual. about to return the product and terribly disappointed on the amount of time wasted with this unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HDMI 2.1 and LPCM decoding oversight this soundbar is advertised as being hdmi 2.1 but unfortunately it is not able to decode lpcm which is used with apple tv or gaming in windows. for this reason i had to return the soundbar. if samsung were to fix this issue i would gladly buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Live Concert sound and feel at home Our house holds the limited blueray live concert of Arashi 5x20. The speaker brings the concert to the home. The amazing bass rumble, the rear firing speaker blaring, and the main delivering the amazing melody. The sound was exquisite filling the whole living room. The set up was simple and it was literally plug and play. We attached the speaker to the ARC HDMI port and it will turn on with the TV to deliver the sound needed without needing to connect or manually turn it on. I linked the device to my Samsung phone through Smart things and the many functions it provides is fun to use. Simply tapping the phone to the main speaker I can play the music I was playing directly to the speaker. We have Alexa, but now we get another Alexa we can use as the speaker can be used in the living room. In love with theses speakers and we cannot go back to the old tv speakers as they were supremely inferior to the quality we have now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound but problems with latest firmware bought today, updated to the latest firmware hw-q900twwb-1016.0. was listening to spotify through my phone great for 30 minutes then stopped working. youtube would not have sound on the tv through the app and kept resetting my audio to tv speaker. had to power-off reboot the soundbar and working for now but i am not sure it will last. very disappointing for the price at this point.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buggy i have an nvidia shield tv pro plugged into the soundbar, and then soundbar to a q80t tv via hdmi arc so that i can get lossless dolby true hd. q-symphony doesnt work at all. i also get fairly consistent sound cut outs... and audio on youtube doesnt work at all... i dont even think i need to point out the absurdity of having the display on the top of the soundbar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stay far away from it. Regret purchasing it the very limited programming possibilities make it useless: - no option to change wake up volume - no option to assign specific sound mode to source - you have to stand in front of it to see display on top and no visual feedback on tv, making it impossible to use limited sound options - smartthings options are a joke, you can connect to it but the options are very limited. e.g. , you can connect to harmony but it‘s pretty much limited to the few buttons on the original remote. so if you wanted to program it to always have adaptive sound for a source you‘d have to program „to press“ sound mode a specific number of times to get it. that only works if it starts out on the exact same sound mode setting. i very much regret replacing my previous 7.1 setup with this overpriced piece of junk!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unreliable wireless connection to speakers i have updated the firmware on the soundbar to try to fix a connection problem, but it didn't work. the subwoofer will not stay connected to the soundbar. i have to constantly unplug the subwoofer to get it to reconnect. when the subwoofer disconnects, the rear speakers also disconnect. the rear speakers reconnect when the subwoofer reconnects. the led display should not be on top. it is very difficult to see and would be better on the front.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Disappointing i had high expectations for this soundbar since i love my n950 but it seems like samsung dropped the ball on this one. my 2 biggest complaints are: 1) connectivity issues. i spent an hour trying to connect the rear speakers. i even updated the firmware, that also didn't work. i then called samsung tech support and wasted another 30 mins. i was put on hold for 30 mins and then they hang up and didn't call back. 2) whoever designed this clearly didn't mount it the way it's supposed to be used, how else would you explain the display being on top of the soundbar? you can't see it while you're using it. it's only visible when you're standing right above it. i was willing to overlook this if i could've connected the rear speakers to the soundbar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Louder than TV i needed an upgrade from my 5 year old receiver stereo. and just got a new tv. the old stereo had no arc function. anyway. figured a sound bar would go great. i assumed $$ equals quality in the stereo. well so far with this purchase, i dont believe it does. with tv/netflix/playstation 4 it does sound great. for music ? its terrible, its a large subwoofer and i figured my pictures would fall off the wall and my neighbors would complain. tinkered with settings and could not get barely any bass out of it. seems odd. i cannot connect my phone bluetooth to the soundbar either after following directions . and another con, yes why is the screen on the top of the sound bar ? this is my first experience with a soundbar and i have been let down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from False Promises i initially owned the hw-n950, which is basically the 2018 version of the hw-q90r and hw-q950t. i was initially pleased but after 2 years of ownership there was no support with firmware fixes and the promised earc update to the n950 never happened. As for the q950t, it’s same story - it has the potential to be a great soundbar, although, it is plagued with issues right now that i wasn’t aware of when purchased. 1. basically it doesn’t support earc functionality (mainly dts:x due to bandwidth issues) and 2. it doesn’t support lpcm 5.1/7.1, it just downscales to pcm (which really is a joke). that being said, it is absolutely useless with the new generation of consoles coming out. in the end, i will be returning this sound bar, because it’s not worth the hefty price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfectly Powerful Soundbar Prior to purchasing this HW-Q950T Soundbar, we were simply using the speakers built into the flat-screen TV in our bedroom. This soundbar has really exceeded our expectations. Set up was a breeze as the provided documentation was simple and easy to follow. The Samsung Smart Things app can be utilized to update the soundbar's firmware. There are four HDMI inputs and a digital optical port. One of the HDMI ports supports ARC which allows the soundbar to communicate with any ARC compatible television. Using this option allows the TV to turn the power of the soundbar on/off and the volume control on the TV will also adjust the volume of the soundbar. As for the sound quality, the Q950T is very powerful and the clarity is outstanding. The 9.1.4 speakers really create an enveloping sound that is amazing. The wireless rear speakers are placed on the night stands on both sides of our bed and, while the soundbar itself can be mounted to the wall with the included hardware, we chose to simply place it on top of our dresser just under the television. The 8 inch subwoofer packs a lot of punch that is responsive and honors the original movie or television show. We conveniently placed it on the floor next to the dresser. Finally, this soundbar supports Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Atmos, DTS and DTS:X for 3D True Surround Sound. It also supports Bluetooth and can be controlled by using your voice with Alexa support. I highly recommend this soundbar for any audio enthusiast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great when it works this soundbar is amazing when it works but has lot of s/w glitches. the rears and subwoofer disconnect often and also the audio cuts out for a split second randombly when watching a movie. i went to the store to return this for sonos arc and the rep asked me to try the new batch of this model to see if it makes a difference. so far with the replacement, the connection with sub and rear is stable but the audio is still cutting out randomly. i will monitor and try to resolve this issue with samsung. if not, i will return this for sonos arc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Impressive! Installation was simple, straight-forward and with no issues. Instructions were very clear and direct. We installed using the HDMI-ARC method to ensure the best sound possible, but you can also use an optical cable or blue-tooth. This is connected to a Samsung Q80R series television, which utilizes 100% of this speaker’s features. Your mileage will vary depending on your television. Now connected, I booted up the newly released and remastered version of Top Gun for both 4K video and Dolby Atmos audio. As soon as the into music started playing I was absolutely blown away. The music immersed the room with sound and soon the sounds of fighter jets were coming from all sides! The tones, including the bass were all set just right in the default mode. Very impressive! This soundbar also supports Alexa and Bluetooth input from your devices and is equally impressive. The bass will not rattle your windows, but it is room-filling and is an excellent addition to our living-room based home theater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound quality This soundbar is amazing. It's paired perfectly with my Q90T TV and with Q-Symphony setup, the audio quality, in my opinion, surpasses the $3000 floor standing speakers that we've been using. That fact that I was able to eliminate all the speaker cables was just an added bonus. Sure I swapped out speaker cables for power cables, but the power cables are a lot less mess than what my speaker cables were, especially for the front speakers. Some of the key features of this amazing soundbar is the Q-Symphony, which uses select Samsung TV's built-in speakers in sync with the soundbar speakers to greatly improve sound quality. There is also 4 different sound modes (Surround sound expansion, Game Pro, Standard and Adaptive). The soundbar has Alexa built-in, which brings with it your typical Alexa voice features. The soundbar can be connected to the SmartThings app for greater control over the audio. It also has multiple connectivity options: 2 x HDMI In, 1 x HDMI out, HDMI eArc, Optical out, WiFi and Bluetooth. I do like the tap and play feature where I just tap the back of my Note 20 Ultra to the designated spot on the soundbar and I can then play my music from the phone through to the soundbar. This is by far the best soundbar I've ever owned and I'm liking it more than my current $3000 floor speakers and subwoofer setup. Both my movies and music just sound amazing through it, I'm definitely estactic with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This old lady can hear the entire movie now We were so very excited about getting this sound bar, I am 60 and I can’t tell you how often I had to stop the streaming movie and back up so my husband and I could hear something we missed. It was an annoying part of aging. It was very easy to set up , good heavy quality equipment. The tv recognized it right away, it recognizes the WiFi the whole thing went well! Great job Samsung! I can hear every detail clearly and the way it bounces around the room it is like there are speakers everywhere. We have another brand in the family room older technology but still a Harmon Kardon, and this is so crisp and clear by comparison I would say this new technology with dts x. 71.2 channel sound is far superior. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a superior sound bar for a very reasonable price. The first thing I watched was a rock concert it was seriously like I was there. I liked it so much I ordered a smaller bar for our 13 year old daughters room she is definitely green with envy as I bought this for our bedroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blown Away We love theater, audio, movies, etc. We love to watch movies and having the feeling of being in a movie theater is very important to us. We were very excited to have the opportunity to try out the Samsung HW-Q950T. It comes with the sound bar, which is low profile and full of speakers. Top, sides, front. Just wow. The subwoofer is very nice and not bulky. It is tall and relatively thin. There are two rear speakers that you can mount behind you on either side. The remote and batteries are included. The first thing is the system is Bluetooth so you only have power cords to worry about. It is so easy to set up anyone can do it. We chose to use an optical cord but it comes with hdmi. So we hooked it up within a few minutes. There are several settings and they show up on the sound bar top. So, wow. Just wow. Blown. Away. The sound is crisp, clear, and powerful. It came from all sides. We turned on 2 fast 2 furious in order to really test it out. I could hear motorcycles behind me, blasts of nitro all around. The music was crazy booming and clear. It really felt like we were in a movie theater. The rumbles, the feeling that you are there, in the movie. It just fills the room. You can also use the smart things app on your Samsung phone. All you do is tap it to the sound bar and it plays whatever is on the phone. Hands down, this sound bar is top notch. It even has Alexa built in if you want to use it. Dolby Atmos kicks everything up a notch. I highly recommend watching a movie with all kinds of sounds and music when you first get it. It will blow you away, too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OMG it blew me away first off, i'd like to say that this exceeded my expectations. it has a very subtle bass coming from the subwoofer so it does give that 3d surround sound effect with it. i really like all of the features on this unit. you can basically adjust the speaker volume for  front, sides, top, subwoofer, and bass/treble.  it also has adaptive, surround, game, etc.  you can also download the smart things app and adjust the unit from your phone.  i really like using it with alexa.i really like all of the features on this unit. you can basically adjust the speaker volume for  front, sides, top, subwoofer, and bass/treble.  it also has adaptive, surround, game, etc.  you can also download the smart things app and adjust the unit from your phone.  i really like using it with alexa.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subwoofer not working i purchased a t650 soundbar 3 days ago, and the woofer is not working after 2 days of use. i tried all the possible ways to troubleshoot the woofer (manual connection, plug and unplug, a combination of both) . while we were testing the unit, there have been problems with the woofer connections, but the salespeople were able to fix it. unfortunately, i have been using it for 2 days, and when the woofer failed, tried troubleshooting and wasted 2+ hours of troubleshooting. the other samsung soundbar i have is working, perfectly, this specific model is just frustrating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor sound quality and useless for voices I bought this a while back similarly due to glowing reviews across different sites. I'm assuming Samsung paid good money for them, but it seems like it was a worthy investment. At best, the sound bar is "okay" for scenes with no dialogue. I'm not convinced it's better than my 6 year old TV's built in speakers (which aren't even forward facing) but it's okay. As soon as you introduce dialogue however it's over. This thing is useless for any form of dialogue. I don't understand how they created a device with a "dedicated channel for clear dialogue" that muddles it this badly. There are no settings to be able to control it, so all non-voice dialogue ends up 2-3 times louder than voices spoken at normal volume. To my knowledge, I've tried all of the settings and none of them help. I've tried DRC both off and on, I've tried every sound setting (standard, DTS, Surround, Smart) and tried boosting the treble to hell. Ultimately, at best it's still significantly harder to understand with this device than without. I've taken to just unplugging this thing and going back to the base tv speakers so I don't need subtitles. A useless product and a category in which I will never buy a Samsung again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor performance i wish i'd have read the reviews before making this purchase. 75% of the reviews are unfavorable. i bought this soundbar based on samsung's past reputation, but they dropped the ball on this one. hooked up optical and the sound is flat, and the bass woofer is almost non existent. the treble from my tv speakers is actually better than the soundbar. i would describe the setting as compared to a tone control on an outdated table radio. i paired this to a large visio flatscreen in our bedroom, so i guess i'll live with it. the price has gone up since my purchase, when in reality it should be under $100.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Low Volume very low levels from all streaming services. connected to a samsung 50" tv via hdmi arc. dolby is completely unusable. sound is only marginally audible on a few programs with dolby set as a source on the tv. dialog is honky and often unintelligible (boomy) on most movies. no correction via bass & treble or the equalizer. the smart sound isn't smart at all. i have the surround speakers and they have to be turned up to 6 in order to be audible at all. woofer is medium good but that doesn't make up for the horrible sound from the bar itself. yes, i am totally familiar with all of the controls. have to set the source to pcm in order to get audible volume at all, and even then the audio must be set to 90 or even 100 to be usable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I thought technology would catch up i currently have a receiver and speaker system and bought this because i have speakers failing. i was hoping that technology would catch up. surround sound? yeah right! if you want true surround sound, get yourself a receiver and some good speakers all the way around. this is not the system for you. i hooked it up, set it up, and turned it on. the volume is ridiculously low. i turned my tv speaker all the way to 100 and this to 100 and it still does not compare to my receiver system. whoever gives this 5 stars, has never been in a movie theater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound levels are disappointing i've had a samsung soundboard in the past so i thought i could trust them, i should have read the reviews hopefully save someone their time... does not get loud, i've tried both hdmi and optical neither really made a difference... it seems this model doesn't do as well as their other ones... although to be honest i probably won't be buying samsung again. going to start looking into other brands next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I should have believed the bad reviews this soundbar sounds fine as long as you are not connected bluetooth... if you try to connect for phone, ipad, computer or any other device the the blue tooth is sounds horrible it is a static and muffled sound! this was a gift for my husband and i feel horrible that he cant connect his phone as he'd like because of how horrible it sounds and of course the box is gone now so we are stuck with it! :( i do not recommend!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sounds i’m shocked to see any poor reviews of this soundbar. the sound quality and volume are incredible. i dont think ive gotten past 60% volune without feeling like the walls are going to break. i’m hearing things in music that i’ve never heard before. watching movies on my 75” q7dt with this soundbar is a whole new viewing experience. i wish i could have afforded the hw-q80r, but i can’t imagine how much better it would be. best speaker system i ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not buy t650, sub failed in less then one week bought the t650 on 2dec20 today is 6dec20 and the subwoofer already failed. went through the entire process of tech support, unplugging, manual reconnect etc and it loses connection about every 5-10 seconds for up 30 seconds at a time. nothing fixed it. sub worked great out of the box but didnt last long. also sub is very weak maybe could have been a sign ar the bigging but this is my first home audio system. my advise either buy a better samsung system or go elsewhere because this product is not a good one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps disconnecting for some reason it keeps disconnecting from my samsung tv whenever i have the hdmi tv arc setup. it only works as bluetooth speaker but the quality of sound isnt the best via that connection. the times ive reached out to customer support i was told to unplug tv and soundbar until it connects back.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound bar to pair with a Samsung TV Excellent sound bar. Many different modes for all types of situations. Fairly easy plug and play out of the box. If you have a Samsung tv it paid so easily and the One remote aspect is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bass is amazing I've been using the Q950T sound bar for almost a week now and it has changed the way I watch movies and listen to music. The bass is amazing and the 3D surround sound with Atmos makes me feel like I'm inside the movie. Setup: Set up was a breeze. I followed the abbreviated instructions and did not have any issues. The entire unboxing and set up took about 20 minutes. Features: The sound bar comes with Alexa built in and integrated with my Alexa Smart Home devices seamlessly. I use the soundbar to turn on my heater, set alarms, turn my lights on and off. I moved my Echo to another room because it has become redundant with the soundbar's Alexa feature. Bluetooth connectivity is very useful, as I was able to stream music from my laptop. I DJ casually, and the bluetooth simplifies my life as I do not need to connect my mixer to an audio cable to feed into the speakers. Display: The display is very minimal and on the top of the unit and scrolls. Although some people online have complained about it, I do not think it's an issue because I am dialing the sound up and down based on the volume and I do not need to know the exact number the sound is on. The light could also be distracting when watching movies with the lights off, so I appreciate that the light is on top. Overall: Overall, I've very happy with the tech and the sound. The sounbar has everything I'd want in a soundbar - bluetooth connectivity; wireless connectivity between the speakers; sound modes for different activities; amazing base; modern minimal design.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound - Horrible experience short and sweet: this device sounds amazing, when it works. out the box, few popping issues with the sub and a few disconnects with the rear speakers. i’ve even had the devices lose power while still being plugged into the wall. after the 1017.5 update these seem fixed. however, with my xbox plugged directly in the soundbar (hdmi 1) i constantly lose audio while watching movies. i have to switch in and out of hdmi 1 or power on/off the soundbar for the audio to come back. i wanted to return the product but the retailer did not want to reimburse me. this device does not support lpcm audio either. seems ridiculous as previous flagship models does support it (ex: q90r). amazing sound though... not worth the price tag - too many issues and headaches to get it functionning properly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound the sound from the soundbar/sub woofer is pretty awesome. you really need to crank it up to appreciate the quality and feel the bass. the only complaint i have with this is that it frequently switches the sound back to the tv speakers from the optical output for no apparent reason. it's pretty annoying to have to keep changing the settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I see the price keeps coming down. Samsung refused to post my original review , which was an honest opinion based on the performance of their product. They keep lowering the retail price, which tells you something. I'm sure this reply will also not be posted, so they can keep hawking this low quality overpriced soundbar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avoid if you play video games i've been a samsung fan for a long time but i couldn't recommend this product. the lack of a proper codec doesn't allow surround for some gaming consoles and computers. specifically, it down mixes multichannel lpcm to stereo even if you have purchase the surround speakers to have 5.1. the surround works with movies just fine, but not with systems like the switch. other brands, such as yamaha are able to support multi channel lpcm so it's wild samsung won't offer support. we bought this along with the rear wireless speakers but will be returning them. hoping we can help other people avoid our mistake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't hear dialog/voices i bought this specifically for the center channel to improve dialogue clarity but it didn't help in my case. i have a 2020 toshiba firetv, and i use plex to watch movies. with this soundbar i can't hear voices hardly at all, while the sound effects and music in movies are so loud it's overwhelming. i will work with samsung support on this and will update if a solution is found. if no solution is found, i'll be returning this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad Samsung Soundbar T-650 purchased this t-650 on feb 22, 2021. set uptook some doing but after calling samsung and working with the tech was able to get it done. this is my 3rd soundbar so wasn’t unfamilar with these set ups, but this one was tough. after using for a few days called samsung back cause not working well. my samsung tv speakers were better and louder then the soundbar. after spending over an hour with teck asked to speak to someone else. was connected to new tech and spent another 45 mins with her. nothing worked. it’s terrible. have a less expensive samsung soundbar in another room that’s much bettee. this one is worthless. can’t return it to bestbuy (over 2 weeks can’t return). at this point i will give it away or throw it away cause it’s of no use at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of junk This sound bar stopped connecting to the subwoofer and surround sound system in a little over a year. It was no longer under warranty so the representative wanted me to buy another from them because he said the sound bar will last longer if I buy directly from them. My Samsung television also went up in less than a year but thankfully it was under warranty. I am very disappointed because Samsung is supposed to be a superior product but I am having nothing but issues them.
