Rated 5 out of 5 byRyankrt from Sounds good, constantly displays connection issueThe soundbar works good, but it frequently asks if it can connect to the network through the tv, they were both Samsung and purchased on the same day. It is really annoying, and I wish I would have gone with a different soundbar because of it.

It sounds cheap and there is no bass, even after adjusting and changing to "surround" as suggested. I have ordered rear speakers to see if it helps, if not, this unit is going back.

I'm not sure if I received a bad unit but it keeps losing the settings and no matter what I do it just sounds very flat. Almost no bass perception at all. In contrast, I got the cheapest Bose Solo 5 that only has two speakers and the bass and highs are a LOT better. I would NOT recommend this product.

I bought this because its the latest and greatest yet at this point I'm disappointed, I bought the best TV on the market by getting the 55" Class Q8FN QLED Smart 4K UHD TV (2018). I truly have never seen anything so nice! best display in the world! with great sound by itself. I bought this expecting the lastest and the greatest sound to go with it! I will give this 5/5 when it get dolby atmos!!!! if not i want to return it for one that will get it

Rated 5 out of 5 byBCViking from High in quality, doesn't make up for lack in quantity.The new Sound+ sound bar does offer impressive quality of sound, unfortunately the attempt at removing the sub-woofer failed. If your purpose of the sound bar is for listening to music, this will suffice, but if you are looking for an all-round sound system to enhance your TV and movie viewing experience, select something with a dedicated sub. I had to replace my HW-J650 sound bar due to a failed warranty issue, and I miss my J650. I do not get that rumbling feeling with the new MS650 like i did with my older J650. I choose the MS650 because of the similar multi-room functions of the J650, and anticipating compatibility with my Samsung TV. I have a 2013 Samsung Smart TV, and it doesn't recognize the MS650 being plugged in even after the latest update like it did with my J650. The comparability issues are related to ARC function. I still get sound; the TV just doesn't acknowledge that it has a sound bar plugged in. When using the ARC to activate the sound bar when the TV is turned on, it doesn't ways work. I cannot replicate the issue on demand so I cannot pinpoint the exact issue. In short, - The MS650 has quality sound, but lacks the bass of a traditional sub-woofer.- ARC Compatibility issues with older Samsung Smart TVs

Rated 5 out of 5 byCharlyc from Great SoundbarI picked up HW-MS650 Soundbar (Bestbuy) and started to add the sub (Bestbuy) & rear speakers (Amazon) SWA-9000S. The Dolby effect is awesome and even the sub which is not the overpowering kind sounds great. Since I got all at a decent sale price this setup is worth it and I am very happy with it.

No Need for Rear Spekers.Clear, clean sound with excellent spatial sound dispersion and substantial bass response with appropriate source material such as Dolby sound movie tracks. I also purchased the optional 9000S rear surround speakers which I returned as, for me, they detracted from the sound bar's clarity, bass response and spatial distribution of sound. While independently powered the rear speakers are inferior to the sound bar speakers. I found the blending of the two systems muddied the sound bars clarity and base response. And while the spatial sound distribution with rear speakers is enhanced, the sound bar alone does an excellent job of sound dispersion.

Rated 5 out of 5 byjj220 from It's very good sound and bassI purchased the soundbar, sub and satellite's. Make sure you update the unit using the Samsung multiroom app for the best experience. I really wanted a setup that provided excellent low bass and this delivers. Even without the sub, the soundbar has respectable bass. The satellite speakers volume can be increased or decreased based on the content. It really sounds excellent. I play spotify through wifi and it is the best quality soundbar system I've heard at this price point.

The sound is great, very loud, so I keep it on number 8 at night and no more than 14 durring the day. Sleek design and I love how the remote match the TV and Disc Player, just a little tiny longer, but thats how I know which one is what. Love it Love it, Planning on getting a new one for the Living room to Listen to music.

This unit is very clear and distortion free even at loud volumes and it can get very loud. I keep it on pretty low so I don't disturb the neighbors. This is also why I didn't go after something with deep bass since it wouldn't work well in my environment. For anyone who wants very clear sound with an easy setup I would recommend this product.I bought a new tv as well and set everything up together and it was very painless.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDebinKC from I like this SoundbarWhen I purchased this soundbar, I really didn't know what to expect, because I still had an "old fashioned" tuner with 2 large speakers, a separate tweeter and separate subwoofer. I think this soundbar has high value for the price I paid, because this was the soundbar with the most features that I could afford. When I read all the specs, this soundbar seemed pretty loaded. The sound quality is TOTALLY awesome, and it it fits in with any den or living room decor. I chose not to mount mine; however, all mounting hardware is included, and the mounting instructions appear to be simple in case I want to mount the soundbar at a later date. I would definitely recommend this soundbar to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 byDisappointedConsumerinNJ from Low Subwoofer OutputWe heard a demonstration of the MS650 soundbar and 700 subwoofer and were blown away by the great sound. However, after purchasing the units and setting them up to watch movies we were disappointed at the low output of the subwoofer. The subwoofer did not shake the walls like the demonstration but we thought it must be normal based on our cable company. This seems to be an issue that many people have had. We tried updated the firmware as recommended and that did not work. Finally we decided to send it in for service. When the soundbar and subwoofer were returned to us, supposedly repaired, they were not paired together and had the same disappointing sound. We have had many home theatre systems including high-end systems and know how they should sound and how they are wired. At this point we have no choice but to dispose of the system since it was not repaired and has the same disappointing sound. We would not recommend this system based on our experience.
