The sound benefits only come from the required OMEN control panel that still will not download to and older HP Envy laptop meeting system requirements. Speakers don’t rotate and are uncomfortable to just sit around the neck. There’s also confusion online over the name change of the control panel and what is the correct program to download.

The cords have cloth-woven outter coats to help them stand up to wear and tear and the headset itself is quite comfortable to wear despite its bulk. Failures, as with most headphones are the lack of replaceability of cords, lack of reinforcement at bend points in cords, and lack of replaceability of the ear pads when they wear out. This headset had a pullout microphone which is a nice idea but probably an early break point as well. More problematicwas that the microphone was inadequate to the task of sounding good on meetings via teams, webex, and skype. Feedback from multiple people on multiple occasions is that the sound was distant, tinny, and bad tone all around. So sadly, these are going back to the manufacturer.

I've actually hooked it up on my computer as well. Easy USB hookup. Nice quality headset and I do recommend.

As typical of corded headsets, it does have some static feedback but it works well and has a mute button which I really like in a headset. If this is your price for headphones I would definitely recommend them.

We are redoing my office so my desk is in the living room temporarily and of course, both background noises be being courteous to others is important. Although they do not completely block out all background noise they do a pretty good job. They are larger than other headsets I have tried and completely cover my ears and are VERY comfortable. The volume and mute are easily accessible and in the same place. They sound great, rather it is games, music, movies, or video conferences. I am very pleased with them and will be using them even I am in my completed office.

It's doesn't slide around. The ear pieces are very comfortable. Its pretty durable and seems very well made. The sound quality is great and there aren't and echos. I haven't had any complaints that people aren't able to hear me with the mic, everyone says I sound nice and clear.

They do not squeeze your ears or hurt your head while you are wearing them over a long period of time. You can adjust the volume with the easily ready button on the headset wire. Really intensifies volume during gameplay.

They are not noise canceling so you can hear if someone is talking to you as long as the volume isn’t too loud. I’ve used on video calls and others complimented the mic quality. Music sounds great through them! The little app you can download on the computer doesn’t give many unique setting options other than a toggle to turn on the 7.1 surround sound. I haven’t had a chance to truly experience the surround sound in a video game but these headphones have been great for video conferences and music.

Excellent quality light and sturdy the only thing that I do not like is that the foam around your ears is a little bit too stiff and that around your ears gets hot very easily. I use it to interpret online meetings and it works wonderfully.

I love that it has a retractable microphone so it isn't always in the way and I also love that the ear cups are nice and big so they fit very well and are comfortable to wear for long periods of time. They are not heavy at all but they are very sturdy and nicely made. They have a nic belong cord and provide a very crisp and clear sound. These are a great everyday headset for anyone to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Booming Sound with comfort to match! As far as my gaming headsets go, this is without a doubt one of the most comfortable. The over-the-ear canister design rests on your head so easily that I haven't yet felt fatigue with it. That's not to say that "it doesn't even feel like it's there" - you can tell they're on your head, but it's a comfortable fit. The sound on these is great - it also depends on how your EQ is set up, but the sounds are BOOMING on these with a great bass and overall great sound quality (Currently listening to Resurrections from Celeste and the sound is just pure bliss). My only worry is about the microphone. I'm not quite sure what's going on, but you have to push it in and pull it out and what feels like a reel. The microphone is flexible enough that it doesn't seem like it will break from repeated pushes and pulls, but it just seems like a flimsy design. I do like that you are able to almost fully retract the mic to make this seem like just a pair of headphones, though. Another great feature is the USB connectivity. It's nice not being stuck with a aux. jack and able to keep all speaker sound sources on my computer active as well. The volume control and mute are in a perfect place on the wire as well - not too far from the headset, but close enough that you don't have to go searching for it. The sound cancellation is amazing as well. Again, listening to music at a decent level, and I cannot hear my fingers snapping a foot from my ear. Overall, if you're looking for a great sounding and comfortable pair of headphones, look no further. There's are AMAZING!

These are once of the best headsets we've owned. For starter's these are extremely comfortable, they are not to tight around the ears. They are adjustable and fit snug so they don't fall off when the game is getting intense. While playing war games, the sound quality is superb. You can differentiate footsteps high or low and what kind of surfaces the opponent is walking on. The noise cancelling feature works as intended, I don't hear my kids whining while playing. Lol. While communicating with other players their voices are clear, easy to understand and it sounds as if they are sitting right next to me. The microphone is retractable and is great for not being in my line of sight when playing. Another perk, is that these headphones come with a usb and and aux so you can plug them into multiple devices. If you're looking for a leg up on your competition, these headphones are a must!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'll hear you before you hear me I've been gaming with cheap(ish) headphones as long as I can remember. I decided that this time, I was going to get quality equipment. I did my research and ultimately went with the Omen Blast Headset because in my opinion it was the best bang for your buck. What stood out to me the most was my ability to locate / hear where the enemies were, prior to seeing them, with amazing accuracy. With cheaper headsets you can normally decipher a foe on the left or on the right, but I'm telling you that I could hear them and immediately be able to decipher where they are (up to the left, down to the right, etc). It has helped my K/D ratios and honestly I feel more comfortable during gameplay because this added confidence in my ability to get to you, prior to you getting to me. Love this addition to my gaming, now just trying to figure out what I need to get next to take me to the next level.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfort and great sound Upon first glance, I wasn't sure if this headset was going to be the right choice for my gaming needs. The size of the headset was a tad offputting to me personally. It seemed much bigger than other ones I have used. But after wearing it for hours, it wasn't as bulky as I thought. In fact, I hardly even notice it's on. Even though it's big and made of metallic parts, it's not heavy. It's light and comfortable and doesn't slide around due to an inbalance of weight. The ear pads are just right. They fit great over my ears and don't rub or cause any discomfort. Also, they don't make my head sweat or become unbearably warm. The comfort of this headset on all accounts is top notch, unexpected, and just perfect for me personally. I primarily use the audio jack plugged into my Nintendo Switch. The audio that comes out is great and filled with deep bass and the surround sound is very immersive while playing a wide range of games. I would prefer a different option to change the volume level as opposed to the audio wheel attached to the cord, but it does work very well. The cord is also very nice and does not get twisted around. Talking through headset works perfectly and my voice is heard clearly. I also hear the other player voices clearly (depending on internet signal strength) and having a mute slider on the audio control is a nice inclusion. This headset has quickly become my "go to" choice and has also become my favorite way to play my video games.

First thing to notice is how they fit, the cushions are very comfortable, fit nice around the ears and don't squeeze them or cause pain which also helps with noise canceling function which definitely works great here. Love the fact that mic can be pulled out and in, helps to avoid damage when not used, users on the other side confirmed that i sound loud and clear so mic works good. It weight is great also, not too heavy not too light, might seem bulky but definitely doesn't feel like that when you put it on. Sound is clear and very satisfying but right when i put those headsets on i wanted make it louder and sadly it was at the max, i wish there was function to tweak bass and treble or make it louder, also some led lights would make nice addition to it. Overall its great product i just like my headsets little louder.

Sometimes the right side doesn't turn on and I can only hear out of the left side. When the right side does work, it intermittently flickers and distorts the audio out of the right side. I didn't expect that it would break so quickly, and I am very disappointed!

I can wear them with glasses for hours with no issue. I paid the Black Friday price of $29.99 but would pay twice that if I needed a nice headset.

Obviously its not gonna be like the sets that are hundreds of dollars, but nonetheless, it is very impressive. Lows, mids, highs and bass are clear. The comfort while wearing them is also quite impressive. Normally I can't wear a headset for more than 30 min without it feeling painful or uncomfortable. This one, I barely even notice it's on. The over the ear cups are ok. They don't block outside noise so if your environment is loud, you'll be able to hear it through the headset. Unfortunately, I have not tried out the mic for online play due to my internet speeds and ping being far below the recommended minimum for online gaming. But, it does extend out and retract smoothly. Overall, I'd recommend this headset.

She has virtual classes plus her gaming consoles so she can do her thing without disturbing or being disturbed by what the wife and I are watching or doing. My daughter is 8 so the adjustable headband was perfect. With volume adjustment in a handy place, it makes it easy for her to find a perfect balance. The usb adaptor allows her to use mulyiple ports and devices seamlessly. Will definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone.

You can find better headphones for way cheaper. I'd recommend Steele Series where you can get better quality for much cheaper and they'll be wireless.

These were a nice break in sound quality from the tiny buds I’m used to. I tested the microphone and the voice quality was really good. I also liked how the speaker was adjustable. The headset was really snug on my head so if you’re on the larger side you might want to measure or try it out. It worked perfectly out of the box and I’m glad to have something that fits well while I’m gaming.

The ear pads and headband are very well padded that you forget you are even wearing them after several hours. The best feature is noise cancelling. I submerged myself in the game without any external disturbances and was able to utilize the retractable microphone so other players were only hearing me and no other sounds in my home. I could readily control the volume and mute myself with the control on cable. It comes with an audio jack and a USB adapter so it is compatible with multiple devices. The experience I achieved with this headset is unlike any other headset I have owned. My son has used it as well and we have been “fighting” for headset time. I plan on getting him this for Christmas! The sound quality is superb. The sound is so crisp and clear that you actually feel that you are an actual character within the game and not just a player. These could also be used to listen to music or view a movie.

The headset has a metal frame making it durable and resistant to breaking. The speakers are surround sound and really help amplify every sound you hear when gaming. There is a mute bottom that is easy to use and conveniently placed. The mic can be pulled out or hidden away if not in use which is really nice! My favorite feature has to be the massive size of the over the ear part of the headset! Never had I had a headset that sits so perfectly outside my ears! They are so comfortable because they are not crushing my ears at all, which has often been a problem I’ve had with previous headsets!

I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out why I couldn't hear anything before realizing there’s something wrong with the volume dial. once I messed with the dial and got sound the sound still cut out and echoes. They’re very comfortable to wear for 2+ hours. I can’t speak about wearing them for longer, bc I usually just wear them for 2 hours.

C'est des coussins pour les oreilles. Absolument ZERO pression sur les oreilles. Dans les moments de grande fatigue, j'ai ressenti une pression sur le haut de la tête à l'endroit où le bandeau s'autorétracte sur la tête pour s'ajuster à votre taille. La pression peu être annulé en déplaçant le point d'appui sur une autre surface de votre tête. Légère accumulation de chaleur corporel qui est tout a fait normal. Le design 9/10: Très beau design. Micro rétractable qui vient se dissimuler dans le casque. S'ajuste automatiquement à votre tête. Le bouton mute devrait être remonté d'environ 2.5 pouce. Le micro 8/10: Le micro peu être placé à mis chemin entre votre oreille et votre bouche et le son de votre voix sera enregistré sans problème. Cependant, avec un peu moins de tonalité que lorsque placé devant la bouche. ***LE PLUS GROS PROBLÈME***, lorsque vous rapproché le micro de votre bouche, le moindre souffle de votre respiration créera un vacarme comme pas possible. Il n'y a aucun dispositif pour empêcher votre respiration de créer un ouragan à l'autre bout de la communication. Donc, vous serez obligé de mettre le micro plus loin et vous perdrez en tonalité ce qui oblige de parler plus fort. Suppression du bruit 0/10: Le micro capte les sons ambiant sans créer de saccage, de bip sonore ou de froissement (à condition de ne pas être en train de repositionner le micro bien sûr). C'est un très bon micro! Par contre, le micro enregistre tellement les sons ambiant qu'il perd toute sa crédibilité. C'est un interphone! Il suffit que votre téléphone se met à sonné ou que la télé soit allumé en arrière plan pour que votre communication soit interféré par les sons ambiants. La bonne qualité du micro est donc, alterné par votre vie privé. Le son 6/10: En général, le son n'est pas de haute définition. Bonne isolation des coussins! Le son qui est produit par le casque est acceptable. Lorsque vous monté le volume au maximum, vous entendrez un bruit de neige qui se fait oublié assez rapidement. Le volume monte suffisamment fort. La basse est prononcé et procure de bonne vibration. Cependant, la basse m'a semblé invasive comme si elle venait atténué les autres sons ce qui à pour conséquence d'offrir une moins bonne écoute lorsque l'on joue aux jeux vidéo. Ceci peu être corrigé en accédant à l'equalizer offert sur la plateforme Omen Gaming Hub. La plateforme Omen Gaming Hub N/A: Je n'ai pas pu évalué Omen Gaming Hub puisque celui ci m'oblige à mettre à jour la version Windows 10 que je ne désire pas faire. Le message suivant apparait "Pilote audio Non installé. Veuillez accéder à Windows Update pour télécharger le pilote." Je ne sais pas à quel pilote ils font référence, car dans le gestionnaire de périphérique, tous mes pilotes sont à jour. Globalement, si le confort est votre souci #1, foncé tête baissé. Autrement, essayé un autre modèle!

Someone can be talking to me from across the room and no one can hear it on the other side. The cushions are comfortable and the way it adjusts in size is nice. I would recommend.

If not needed just fold it. The headset is lightweight with the padded suspension headband. I would say it's not really full noise cancelling headset because I can still hear noises wearing the headset with or without music presence. Also the headset is compatible to any electronics tried it with my ps4, the mac and phone even. I dont like how big is the headset but it's kinda good that it covers the entire ear and no worries of hurting the ears. The music, bass is clear when using the headset.

The audio the headset reproduces is awesome, everything comes through, highs and lows both sound great. The retractable mic is great engineering, not only can you retract it when you don't need it, but it picks up your voice just as clear in both positions. Muting the mic is a simple switch on the headset cord, it also has a volume control on the side, roll it up or down to control the volume. Noise-cancelling is also included and works as expected. I really like how you don't have to adjust the headset to fit, it automatically adjusts to a comfortable fit. The braided cord is a big plus, it helps with the premium feel. The included AUX to USB is a welcomed addition that makes the headset perfect. Overall, an awesome lightweight headset that not only delivers a premium feel, it delivers premium sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tremendous performance! This headset is worth twice what it cost! I have used more expensive headsets that were not as comfortable as the Omen Blast headset. The noise cancelling mic is great and cuts the background noise out while using them. They don't cut out all of the surrounding noise while you are wearing them, which truly is my preference. You can still hear what you need to but the sound in the headset is crystal clear. These things are great! I just ordered a second pair because when my daughter tries these out I know she will be "borrowing" them from me. Great headset that well out performs their price!

I had a pair of omen 800s that I liked the size of the earcups and the headband, but they broke after years of use. Between them breaking and me getting these, I got a pair of super cheap chi-fi IEMs that totally outclass these headphones in quality, but that's to be expected when it's IEMs vs a gaming headset. I don't care for virtual surround, so my IEMs check all the checkboxes I have better than these headphones.

The microphone is excellent. Sound quality is 6/10. I’m an amateur producer … so maybe I’m being harsh. My other headphones are $300. Sorry HP the laptop was great but I don’t recommend these headphones.

Cord is a woven cloth instead of the typical plastic sheath. The earcups are very large, so my ears fit inside the earpads instead of resting on the ears, so these can be worn for extended hours without discomfort. The cord length using the mini-stereo jack is on the short side, but the included extension to convert from stereo to USB alleviates this minor concern. I like that the microphone retracts instead of swiveling or unplugging when not in use. The sound is good and comparable to a quality pair of headset speakers.

The clamping force is so low that the foam pads don't seal and you can hear everything else going on around you, plus the headphones do not stay stable with so little clamping force

The quality is okay, it is a bit on the brittle side but that makes it very light, which is surprisingly comfortable from that effect. The audio itself has good sound and bass. However, with this being a 7.1 surround sound which is typically intended for gaming it drops the ball massively due to the Microphone bleed over. If the audio you play is too loud it will just outright bleed into the microphone. From what I've tested, anything over 30% volume bleeds heavily. The quality of the microphone also sounds like you are talking to someone on speaker phone with a cell phone.

My experience is limited to those that go in your ear or just headphones with a little mic. That being said, these look nice and they're fairly comfortable. I did notice that they don't really hug my head. That being said, they're not meant to be noise cancelling. Audio quality I would say is satisfactory but nothing to boast about. I have not tested the mic and don't plan to. The price of 79.99 seems a bit steep for this item. Not bad for free but I would have never spent $80 on it.

I usually have issues with sound pickups because I share an office with my husband and we can hear eachother's typing and talking through both our mics. We just deal with it or one person turns their mic off and we both talk and it picks us up. BUT THIS HEADSET OMG!!! Even with my SUPER loud typing, the mic DOESN'T pick it up. It has been AMAZING!!!!! I will be buying my husband his own for his birthday so that we can both FINALLY be in a game or voice channel together where we have to turn off one mic just not to lose our minds.

So no headaches, softly but perfectly wrap around your ears, blocking out almost all other sounds while providing excellent sound quality. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Headset That Is Affordable This headset is of excellent quality. I use them for watching movies on my computer and for Zoom meetings. The built-in microphone is very receptive when speaking with others. I can't say enough about this headset. You just have to try them out for yourself. I live in Elk Grove, CA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Could have been much better I bought this gaming headset because I use it for work and they are supposed to be better than regular headphones that you can use on a call. This was not that great. The dial that controls the volume makes the sound go from one ear piece to the other and when it can finally be adjusted correctly then the caller cannot be heard very well. There is an echo or reverb in the sound and it takes a bit to adjust to that excess noise. Yes, I got this on sale and with a discount from work but I didn't think that was going to mean the quality would suffer. I have a rather small head and as long as my head is upright I'm ok but if I Bend over it falls off. The ear pads are comfortable and keeps the actual speakers off my ear.

It's very impressive for the price The USB-A cable is a weird choice, though, since we're moving to USB-C on everything. I literally don't even have a USB-A port on my laptop. I think a 3.5mm aux jack or USB-C would have been a better choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth about $10 The usb male plug on the usb dongle would not fit into any usb port so there was no way to utilize most of the features of these headphones. Tech support said that they could not order that small part for me so they terminated my case. Without the usb connection these cannot use most of the features so they are basically the same as any $10 pair of headphones. Steer clear.

I got this with my omen 40L pc and have been using it on both my Xbox and PC, I had a moment of anger and started destroying the mess out of it leading to the ear cups dangling. After 8 spats of rage I looked at it and saw a glimpse of the ability to repair it…. I reinsterted the ear cups back into their place and put the speaker protectors back on and the audio was just as crisp as before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They're Fine? I have a weakness for headphones on discount with branding I like, so there was obviously no question I would get these. The audio quality is ... fine? I mean it's whatever, there's no static or distortion, the bass is lacking but they weren't advertised as being a bassy queen. The audio is better on a pair of Audio Technica headphones I got for about the same price as these, and they weren't even discounted just a very cheap model of Audio Technicas. A few reviews talked about the headphones being noise-cancelling but they're not and they're not supposed to be: the mic is noise-cancelling (supposedly, I haven't tried it and don't expect to), not the headphones. I also have to have the volume turned up a lot more to get to what I consider a comfortable volume (typically on my laptop, 10-15 is great but I have to put these at 20 minimum) and it's not the inline volume control, I turned that up all the way first thing. Not sure whether that's a defect or just how they're made. The suspension headband is very cool and looks completely ridiculous, which I'm kind of into. It's fine for wearing for like 5+ hours (don't judge me) and I'll probably look for something similar next time I'm getting good headphones. Overall, these don't rock my whole world but they're not bad enough to return. If you're buying them for a child, go ahead without hesitation, otherwise maybe shop around some more unless there's a feature on these you're super interested in.
