Unlock the Potential of your Gigabit devices

The NETGEAR 8-port Gigabit Unmanaged Switches, GS108X and GS108MX, help businesses cost-effectively connect their network with powerful gigabit speeds.

The GS108MX features one 10G/Multi-Gig Ethernet port for non-blocking uplink while the GS108X features a 10G SFP+ port for non-blocking uplink over longer distances.

Both switches come with eight 1G Ethernet ports housed in a fanless metal case that can be placed on a desk or mounted on a wall. These switches are energy efficient, built to last, and rigorously tested to provide the reliability businesses need.

Highlights | Plug-and-Play

  • Simple set up with no software to install or configuration needed and zero maintenance

10 Gigabit Uplink

  • For the GS108X, the SFP+ fiber uplink offers an expanded, long-distance connection for more than 100m. Requires fiber transceiver.
  • With the GS108MX the 10G/Multi-Gig uplink reduces network bottlenecks.

Flexible Mounting

  • Wall-mount or desktop

Small Form Factor

  • Compact design to fit in any small cabinet or wiring panel

High Quality and Reliable Performance

False Managed Switch
It is not a managed switch. I could not access the switch at all, not even using their discovery application. I even set up subnets on my router, but their default IP address is unreachable. Do not purchase.
Excellent

No instructions for installation
Works but there are NO instructions for installation
Great Switch
Runs cool and quiet. Each port adjusts to the optimal speed
Great 2.5G PoE Switch
Great and affordable 2.5GB PoE switch. Only wish is that they make a 16-port unmanaged PoE someday soon so I don’t have to daisy chain.
Great unit but 3-prong power plug is overkill
Great compact unit. Everything worked right out of the box. HOWEVER, for such a low powered device, I'm surprised of the use of a 3-prong grounded plug that doesn't fit into my APC network UPS. I did not want to use a adapter just for the power plug. I do a lot of international traveling and we appear to be
