ONE BIG WASTER OF TIME
after trying day after day for for a week, calling their tech team, reading their instruction (1 paragraph), talking to their authorized service people in NH and ME, it cannot be modified, fixed to be used. Mac OS system is only to Mac OS 10.7 Lion, mac os is not backwards compatible to current 15+ system, yet it still indicates on its brochure what it is compatible to mac os. LG should pull this product off the market or identify what system it will work on CLEARLY!!!

Seems Durable and does the job!
I am glad I bought this item because my new computer no longer has a dvd drive. I didn’t even know external dvd drivers existed till I found this. I love it.

Works but is noisy
I have used this to install a program and it did the install but made several loud clunky noises which was very annoying. It is a little flimsy and the tray is more loose than I think it should be. Price was good though. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Not what I thought it would do
This product does not format CD-R disc to play on other CD players. Which is what I brought it to do. LG goes not offer software to correct this issue.

Good product, bad instructions.
I like my player. It does what it should. The instructions might be good for use in a bathroom! On the comode.
