Very Sturdy Lock
The cable length is really nice and feels quite sturdy. The locking mechanism is smooth and feels very secure. I'd suggest this to anyone that needs to secure their Dell laptop. Having a spare key is really great as well.

I never knew that someday I will need a Wedge Lock for my laptop until recently I start a job that require me to traveling all over the place.
Most of the time I need to leave my personal laptop at the hotel room and sometimes my hotel room doesn't provide safety box and this wedge lock is the great solution for my problem!!
The installation process is very easy! I looped the other end of the wire in my headboard bed and locked the other side to my laptop receptacle! VIOLA! Basically somebody will need to cut the headboard railling first before they can steal my laptop!
Before you buy, you have to make sure that your laptop receptacle is small type so this Kensington Wedge Lock can fit on it!

Does what it is supposed to
Tested it out with my old laptop. I've come to love the traditional Lexington locks and was not at all disappointed with it. The cable is just as robust as my old lock, and you're more likely to destroy the laptop than to actually steal it.

Saves laptop from pickup and walk away kind of theft
This keyed lock is easy to install and has long cables to manoeuvre. Good for saving laptop from pickup and walk away kind of theft. The only problem i have with this is, what if i lose the key. Also make sure you have a wedge slot for it to fit-in.

I used the Kensington N17 Keyed Laptop Wedge Lock on my dell laptop and it works wonders I was able to lock it and not have to worry about anybody trying to steal my laptop or try it get into my laptop.

This laptop lock works as advertised. I like that it's made with a thick gauge cable and use it whenever traveling or at a cafe in case I get distracted. Never had any issues with locking or unlocking it either.

so far this lock seems to work well. The cable is long enough to easily reach a desk leg or something to wrap around. The locking part fits good and feels very secure. I do wish there was a way to pull the key put while the lock is in the unlocked position.

Not the strongest security, but definitely a decent deterrent. Easy enough to install. Helps with peace of mind if nothing else. The tumblers are easy enough to rotate and it seems to be fairly sturdy to prevent a quick grab.

My son got this for his girlfriend because her laptop was stolen on campus. This is a high quality laptop lock. It is very easy to lock and unlock. The cable is very sturdy. Great product. Would definitely recommend.
