The outside cover is very nice looking leather or imitation leather, but whichever it is it's really nice. It came preloaded with Windows 10 Home and the processor is plenty fast enough for me. It's fairly light and easy to carry.

This is a notebook / computer made for business or school, so if you are looking for a gaming computer this one probably isn’t for you. This notebook looks sophisticated with a black pleather case that feels sleek and smooth. It looks like a book instead of a computer. It’s very light and it doesn’t take up much space , you can travel and take it anywhere. You can easily work from home or any location. The HP Elite Folio is a laptop, and a tablet and much more. The screen is on a hinge that can be brought forward like an easel , slide it more it becomes a tablet.You can flip the screen upside down to watch videos. The display is beautiful,bright, and sharp. The audio is really good too. It has a stylus/pen that charges in the built in storage area above the keyboard. The keyboard is backlit and the keys are rubber dome so typing is quite and easy. It’s 5G wireless broadband where available and the battery is fast charging and last super long . This computer fits all your needs, you can use it for work, school, or managing day to day life. I definitely recommend the HP ELITE FOLIO NOTEBOOK PC to anyone that has a child in college, or anyone needing a new computer for work, this one is great

I have been working from home for over a year and my employer has decided that it is more cost-efficient to keep home-based workers permanently. This HP Elite Folio 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Notebook PC is the upgrade that I really needed to my old laptop so that I can perform my tasks and work more efficiently at home. I love the flexibility of this laptop. I can use it as a laptop or tablet. It is lightweight at just under 3 lbs, has a bright 13.5 display, a nice touchscreen, and a classy leather case. I am impressed with the overall fast performance of this laptop and that it comes with a pen. The pen fits in a magnetic slot and charges when not in use. The webcam has a shutter blocking tab so that you don’t have to use tape. The speakers have great quality sound. Overall, this is a very nicely designed versatile laptop that has excellent performance, extremely good battery life, great speakers, and is very quiet. This HP Elite Folio 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Notebook PC is just what my home office needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must have!!! The HP folio 2-in-1 notebook is just down right fun. My first 2-in-1 and I could not be happier. Super thin, easy to carry around and viewing for any circumstances. Magnetized screen lock makes any position feel very secure. Whether you are using as a tablet or PC you can be sure that it feels sturdy. Very easy to set up as well no more than 10 minute simple set up. Comes with a pen for drawing and taking notes which is a very cool feature. Touch screen feels very smooth when using. The screen also does fairly well not showing smudge marks on the screen! Only down side is that since it’s a tablet you lose some feature of a laptop such as, HDMI input, USB input and so on. Small sacrifice to make for something that I can take on the go easily and use for everything I need! I am truly happy with this 2-in-1, I don’t think I can go back to a traditional laptop again!

Unfortunately I have to return Love the design and functionality but the screen is way too dark compared to Surface Book 3 that I come from and the resolution is noticeably bad, looks a little pixelated and not very sharp. If they had a high res option with descent brightness would be a killer. Another thing it should have is one additional position screen for drawing, between flat and media consumption The pen is amazing but I prefer the Microsoft ones as it has an eraser on the back

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for a business computer - easy to use I have been in the market for  a new computer in the last year since I am in school currently to become a Echocardiography Technician. I needed a computer that not only could handle my software but be functional also as a Cardiac Scheduling Liaison. I have purchased other brands of computers and have been very disappointed in the quality and speed of the other brands that I ended up returning them. Then I recieved this one - which has been very pleasant so far, I was able to download my software and be able to use the pen that is included in the tablet to show abnormalities in my echo models which is awesome since before I had to drag a mouse and hopefully it would not release before I was done. This has taken at least 10 mins off of my module times! I love the flexibility the portfolio - i can use it as a laptop, a screen with using just the mouse pad or using it as a tablet. It was super simple to set up from time out of box to being able to use. Only took 5 minutes to set up! So the one thing I dislike about it - is it shows fingerprints very easily, and gets dirty very easily. But other than that - i have no problems with it. Battery - I charged it from dead to fully functional in less than 1.5 hours. It takes a "c" charger which is AWESOME since I have all Samsung/Android products and have lots of these chargers all over my house and work. The battery life is awesome - I used it last night for over 2 hours and it barely went passed 70%. Also the braided charging cord - i was super excited to see this, they are way more durable than the traditional laptop chargers. Overall I am very impressed by this product - HP Elite Folio 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Notebook PC. The quality, battery life and overall flexibility of this notebook is well worth the cost!

The pin that comes with it is easy to use and easy to set up is really great for presentations. The flip screen is really easy and very convenient when it's in tablet mode works very well. Could have made the sound a little louder but it is good. I would recommend this computer to anyone. I have been using it at work and it works very well easy to hook up to the printers on the medical campus that I work on. Great built-in security features for public Wi-Fi. All in all this is a very great computer and again I would recommend to anyone. Good job HP!!! The outer cover is very nice, it feels like a soft leather but isn't. Also, not sure of shock absorber because I've not dropped it but by the way it's made, it should be okay.

The whole family can use it for work, school, gaming, etc. It charges relatively quickly and has good battery life. It works like a good laptop, but when you flip up that screen and you it like an upright pad it changes everything! Whoever came up with that deserves an award! You still have the use of the touchscreen and with the pen it’s like having an upright canvas or an actual paper notebook. Everyone loves it!

It has an amazing screen and the pen is so amazing. its light and fits in most of my bigger bags! I would never go back to using a pc without one again! Common drivers, such as for printers, will not work properly on this computer. I love the form factor and would make this a 5 star rating if HP offered this with an Intel or AMD chip.

To me the best part of this computer is the amazing p e n!!! It was a breeze to start up all I had to do was put in my email information it off I went. I love that you can tilt it and slide it down and it becomes a tablet which is very convenient when you are trying to write notes very fast or watching a movie. It was very quick as I would compare this to a regular pc. I highly recommend you give it a try I don't think you'll be disappointed and I think you will love the pen that comes with it

Easy to grip because of the leather feel casing. Power button easy on off and remembers right where I left off. Great for work of all kinds. Lots of memory for storage. I use it for browsing and my granddaughter uses it for school assignments. Very fast surfing and downloading. Love it!

It is very fast 16gb of ram which allows the computer to run smoothly without having to stop or close any programs that are running. It has alot of space and is compact. It comes with a built in case which is leather. The screen detaches from the keyboard moving forward to make a stand like a ipad or you can lay it completely flat like a tablet. It does not fully detach though. The keyboard has a spot for the pen that it comes with which makes it so handy for signing documents or using editing programs. Overall this laptop is amazing so fast and convenient to hold.

During a road trip it didn't need charged at all. I love the included Bluetooth pen, so fun to create with. Very clear display. The keyboard is awesome, appreciate that it's backlit. It makes it so easy to type in low light. My son loves doing graphic design projects with it. Love how it has tablet mode, quite useful. Can't rave enough about it.

I am using it for work and play, the screen quality is the best I’ve ever seen, and I love the ability to flip it into a tablet. The stylus for highlighting and drawing is super useful and the sound that comes from the speakers is amazing. This was super easy to set up and it’s hand down the fastest pc I’ve ever used, not to mention it’s so nice looking too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unique laptop with unique design and purpose Pros: 1. It’s a very formal and executive looking laptop with a soft-to-touch leather finish. 2. One of the features I like most in this laptop is the fan-less design. Since it has a snapdragon architecture, it doesn’t have any fan inside it’s chassis. 3. The battery lasts up to 24 hours as advertised. 4. The boot time is much faster than a intel machine. 5. The laptop has an inbuilt stylus holder which also double as the charger for the stylus. 6. The screen view angle is very flexible. The screen can also be converted to iPad style and tablet style mode which is a bug plus. 7. The keyboard feels good while typing with good key travel. The track pad is responsive and gives a Mac like feel. 8. I have tested with Microsoft office and similar programs and it works flawlessly. 9. It’s light weight and the face detect login works seamlessly and also works in the dark using the built in infrared camera. Cons 1. The laptop comes with only 256 GB of storage, out of which almost 60 GB is used for the windows installation. I would have preferred a higher storage space. 2. Because of the snapdragon architecture, playing videos for a very long time makes the video to stutter or it completely stops playing. 3. This laptop is predominately designed for executive work like word processing, power point presentation etc. It definitely takes a hit while performing demanding jobs like HD videos including you tube and games. 4. The stylus has a flat shape. I personally prefer a round type stylus but it is not a dealbreaker. 5. The webcam quality is not the best and could have been better especially in these zoom days. 6. It doesn’t have a USB type A port or SD card reader so you will need some kind of an adapter to perform basic tasks like plugging in a flash drive or when trying to read a digital Camera chip.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow!! Absolutely love it Sorry for the long review, I normally don’t leave reviews unless I’m loving the product. I also want to help others in my situation help find the correct notebook for them. All I can say is Wow, I absolutely love the hp elite folio 13.5 inch 2-in-1 notebook, but their is a few small issues I have noticed and I’ll explain later in the review. I work a lot from home and on the road, I do a lot of video meeting and correct,sign and create documents for work. I’ve had other notebooks that I wasn’t very impressed with and believe I have found the best one for me. It come with a stylus Pen and has a connection/ storage area that charges and is built into the keyboard. The pen is very easy to use and works great when doing drawings or signing documents. One thing I absolutely must have is a great webcam , 1st and biggest issue for me is this notebook is a 720p and in my opinion doesn’t look as good or clear as it should. I look granulated when doing webcam meetings. It also doesn’t have a legacy USB-A port, and is a little on the heavy side close to 3 Lbs, but not bad at all (nit picking here). Also if your living in browser and supplement a few applications which are 32 bit it will have to be translated and that means performance and battery life will prob take a hit. If your away from home and don’t have access to wi-fi you can put a 5G chip SIM card inside by the stylus pen and get cellular activity on the road. There are USB type C ports on both sides of the keyboard base, which works great for me because most have ports on the screen and the wires hang. I use office and use tons of extensions and it runs fantastic. I also chat on discord with no issues. To be so small the speakers sound very clear. It’s hard to find a laptop or notebook that has a long battery life but I believe I have found mine. I have traveled several days and didn’t charge it up and the battery life is still good and charged. This notebook looks cool and doesn’t get overly warm. You can use it as a tablet, or laptop . When I’m on a conference call the key board is super quit. One last thing I appreciate is it has a physical shutter to close over the webcam. If your on the fence to buy this notebook, please do yourself a favor and get it. It has made my work life so much easier. I love it!!!
