Great Printer
I see the other reviews that this is a horrible printer. I have to disagree. I've been using mine for four years now. It has, like any printer, its idiosyncrasies, but, I have printed about 8 miles of prints in that time and find this printer to be outstanding.. enough so that I am purchasing another.

Piece of garbage
My current situation is still ongoing... this machine is a horrible piece of garbage. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and ordered another print cartridge... brand new. I inserted it and now there is an error code on another one of the brand new cartridges. AAAGGGGHHH!!!. I CAN'T PRINT...ERROR CODES EVERYWHER

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Piece of GARBAGE Beware do not purchase this plotter... Horrible! Horrible! Plotter. I purchased all new print cartridges and inkjets. I placed them all in and error codes indicated that two of the brand-new cartridges were bad. I re-purchased the 2 cartridges and finally after going through more error codes it accepted the cartridges. Now error indicators on the paper rolls keep popping up... I need to print one copy and still 3 hours later it won't accept the paper roll.... AAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!. Now. It accepts the paper ... cuts the paper... then it goes through a lengthy self-check .... then after the check ... now indicates that the earlier accepted paper is now in error. Still my drawing is not plotted. Another system error ... restart again, and again, and again. This machine is a piece of garbage. My plotters back in the 1980's were more efficient that this thing. All my previous plotters functioned appropriately. They over designed this thing, and it just spits out errors.... I have only been able to print out 6 drawings on this thing over the last few months... waste of my time... and money!!! GOOD GRIEF!!! All I can think of, is to take this thing out into the desert and use it for target practice. If I could give it a lower rating I surely would...

Colors are vibrant, paper/media types are great, and the overall product is terrific. Read the owners manual, and dialed everything in. Very user-friendly and self-explanatory. The vertical trimmer, dual roll, and photo quality booster pack are amazing! I've had zero issues and we've had this now for about 4 months. Customer service has always been available and timely. We even have their service tech on hand to come out and service this machine as they do with all others we own. Would highly recommend.

Now the same issue has happened after 6 months. We have made an investment on this particular brand/model and we expect it to perform in accordance. Our work it stuck due to this. I think this particular model has some sort of manufacturing defect. What are we supposed to do? The company should look into this matter with utmost urgency and either provide a replacement for this machine.
