Great ups for small enclosures
This is a great rack mount ups that i put in tripp-lite wall mount enclosures. I have installed 50+ of these enclosures for small businesses for there network devices and cameras. Solid product line

Just right for our application
We need a 1 RU UPS to fit an existing rack for a stage box. The UPS allows us to use the stage box during a power outage (the sound system has its own UPS). It is just the right physical size and provides the necessary runtime for our application

Good, but easily outgrown.
We use these for small IDFs that usually only have one switch in them. I really like that they have a network card built in, as these small 10-12U racks are usually out in production or up in a high bay ceiling. The indicator LEDs could be larger, with larger icons though, as it would make seeing the status tha

Really like being able to get information from the unit, as far as load, battery life, run time, etc. Sure is better than having to measure these things yourself, or guessing at it. Have several other SmartPro UPSs and haven't had a problem with any of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my go to items for an IT closet With a tight budget, I used three of these in a relay rack for network gear and all of the random stuff that ends up in a IT closet, and three provide a good number of outlets. I have a backup generator on these circuits so I don't need an extended amount of runtime, so these are perfect for the price. I really like the support of the network management card, and will budget to get those next year, as I said, tight budget.

The monitoring card that you can install is awesome - the proactive monitoring through it, keeps us from having downtime due to a bad battery, which is something that just happens with time, use, and age.

Only downside is that I didn't realize how I was going to have to mount this in a two post rack mount. I had to make some unexpected changes but it worked out in the end. I would recommend this product.

It happened on a weekend when the office was closed, but fortunately an employee stopped by & tried to stop the noise. She alerted us, and we called our computer technician who diagnosed the problem and ordered us a new Tripp-Lite. It came within a few days and we are back to normal.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I would buy the product again. Measure twice Even after I called sales support to confirm that this would fit in a SRW12U13, it would not fit in the bottom space in the rack. I had to move it up one space to clear the door. Also there is not enough room to plug in the PDU. I had to purchase a right-angle adapter. Works well and should protect the equipment hooked up to it.
