Followed directions. They aren't very good, but plugging a wire in is pretty straightforward. Nothing happened. Unplugged ext battery and tested with my fluke and there was no voltage. Opened up and battery was disconnected. Connected battery and then reconnected to smart1500lcdxl and set configuration to exter

A must have for network protection
Excellent battery unit, quick and simple installation. Added 35 mins to my backup runtime. I would recommend it and will buy it again.

Excellent, powerful, and reliable system
Excellent, powerful, and reliable system. This my second smartpro LCD equipment I bought. I combine it with the external battery rack to duplicate the Battery life.
