Insanely expensive, the Pro-100 is nearly unusable because of the cost of ink and paper. I purchased a new HP with the "eco" tanks and it is a fraction of the cost of any Canon. Why buy Canon Ink rather than brand X
Why would someone buy a high-end printer for high quality photo printing and try to save a few percent on ink. I will always use Canon ink.

small ink cartridges - great ink!
I only wish that this Canon printer had higher capacity ink tanks, for the frequency of tank changing is a nuisance. The printer is in another room, access requires climbing stairs, and the ink remaining status is just a bit pessimistic and coarse. The ink, on the other hand is what I like in this Pro100 mode
