Wireless keyboards are not always permitted during standardized testing, and battery-powered or rechargeable keyboards can run out of power at inopportune times. The Wired Keyboard with Stand connects to an individual iPad via a secure wired connection and requires no batteries or charging.     Amazing for Education!
    Extremely Rugged, No Battery, No pairing, Stack Well. What more would you want for a classroom keyboard for students? We've had incredible success and great feedback from teachers and students!

    Great for State Testing
    The teachers love these keyboards for State testing on the iPads. No worrying about lost stands, the iPads are held at a good angle for viewing . The test requires a wired keyboard so these fit the bill.

    Great option for the classroom
    It's pretty obvious by looking at the keyboard that it would not be a device that would be sleek to transport. I love it for the classroom as many students have different case sizes (or no case at all) and the stand is perfect for that. I think a lower rating of the device when it is clearly not intended to

    Makes tablet a great workstation
    The keyboard works really well and makes the tablet a great secure workstation; however, it is clunky and not easy to throw into a bag to travel with. Our company does not like using Bluetooth due to security reasons, so we needed a plug in keyboard like this one.

I love it for the classroom as many students have different case sizes (or no case at all) and the stand is perfect for that. I think a lower rating of the device when it is clearly not intended to be a device that you carry around (like a connected case/keyboard) is more of a user preference issue and not a fault of the design or quality of the product. You buy it for the added benefit of the stand. If not, you need to be more mindful of your purchase choice...
