AWESOME....
This is my third ZAG cover. I have one for work, this one for my personal, and the first one I had a accidentally stepped on....while in work boots....my bad.
I have demonstrated the protection of the ipad this offers to clients at work. I drop a 10" ipad air on it's corner from about 6 feet. It bounces....nothing damaged on the ipad. I've done this at least 20 times. Zero problems with the ipad.
This device changed my relationship with the ipad. This is a must have compliment to the iPad for anyone who:
-Types in a dark environment. (it's backlit)
-Knows how to type.(more productive as you don't have to use apples on screen keyboard.
- Has limited space for keyboard and ipad.
-This device splits allowing you to put the ipad on a shelf and type anywhere within blue tooth range. One of my favorite features.
If you're looking for a type surface, yes....apple's is spill proof.....get a camelback......this is what you want.
Mine's missing the charging cable, but knowing the quality company Zagg is, I'm sure they'll send me one.

ZAGG GEAR IS SIMPLY THE BEST!
My new ZAGG Slim Book for Apple 12.9-inch iPad Pro, like the last 3 keyboards I have purchased, is fantastic. While I prefer the hinge mechanism on the Rugged Book Edition, the price and value for the Slim Book is outstanding.

Keyboard does not stay attached
This case works good when it is set up but I once you start to put it in and out of a briefcase the keyboard just comes off and after one week of use it’s already breaking

Love Zagg But This Is Not My Favorite
I’ve had nothing but Zagg case/keyboards for years but this one is not my favorite. The keyboard does not stay attached to the iPad very well - the small tabs just don’t seem strong enough to hold the weight as well as previous versions. I move locations often for work (desk, lap, etc.) so I would really like for this to be more reliable. I do like the 2 options for the Apple Pencil holder, and it is a very sturdy case as are all Zagg products. Hopefully, this will be resolved in future models.

Awful experience
Package arrived, opened, and weeks late. Wasn’t able to refuse the shipment, and now I’ve been told I have to pay to send it back, and even if I did, it’s so close to the end of the return window that it might not even get there in time (despite the fact that I only received it a few days ago). Never buying a Zagg product again!

Broke after 1st use
It turned on fine when I first got it, but after one use it would not turn on. I'd plug it in and no charging lights at all would come on, nor when I tried to power it on after charging for some time. I wasn't moving it and nothing bumped into it or caused any kind of damage. Pretty frustrating when I don't currently have another keyboard to use.

Only negatives is that the
Only negatives is that the keyboard detaches very easily so it will fall off at times. I would like for it to fold down into the groove of the keyboard. Everything else about the keyboard is excellent.

Poor design
I would have returned this item. But after receiving the wrong size and having Zagg charge me to ship it back for a replacement, paying another shipping charge defeats the purpose.
The slim book go is two parts instead of being one which means you have to disconnect the keyboard from the holder and flip it around to fold it behind the holder. Very inconvenient design IMO.
Again, if I could send it back for a full refund and not have to pay $25 in shipping again, I certainly would.

I did not like the keyboard and case. It’s not the one that I would go head over heels for.
The keyboard feel is a bit strange for my normal usage and takes some getting use to. One of the things I dislike the most is the Bluetooth connection. That type of connection makes the typing experience sluggish because there’s always a delay with when a word is typed vs when fully registered. It’s a minor but a major pain for those who types fast. The backlit is far from being true backlit which really is useless to me because it’s seems to be another extra lights that were spared from elsewhere and they decide to embedded them under the keyboard. If you’ve owned a “lap-top” you’ve likely thrived putting it over your laps and going to town with whatever activity you wanted to do. This item, it presents the idea but does not deliver. You cannot set it on your lap and hope to have a decent typing experience. It’s very wobbly and unstable and will on end up causing you nothing but frustration. Very poor design outcome. Can I recommend it? No.

ipad protector
I needed protection for my new ipad and I liked the slim book go. I bought it before but it didn't fit the ipad I bought it for. This one fits the 4th generation perfectly. I like the fact it has its own stand and the keyboard is detachable and is backlit which makes it easy to see in bad lighting.

Decent case
I wanted the Rugged Case to replace the same case that had broken after several years. The Rugged Case was unavailable so I purchased. It’s adequate, but as durable as the Rugged Case.

The case wasn’t as secure around my iPad as i thought, and my iPad would pop out of the case. I ended up returning it, but still haven’t heard back from anyone from ZAGG that they received it. Would not recommend.

The case is perfect. It’s lightweight. It is easy to use. I love the disconnection and connection of the keyboard, and I can use the keyboard, even when not attached, which was a cool discovery.

Great Keyboard
So far I am very impressed with this product. I work remotely and use this a lot as I work in different locations and it's great. The only down fall is I wish my apple pencil fit better in the lower holder. I tend to keep it on top so it charge and is more stable.

Another satisfied purchase of ZAGG products
Once again another satisfied purchase of ZAGG products. My son was the first in the family to purchase a ZAGG product. I really liked the iPad case with key board he bought. Functionality, fit, design. I had to wait a while to get the rugged book case I wanted because it was always sold out. I just received it, installed the ZAGG screen protector which was easy to install and inserted my iPad into the case with detachable keyboard that fit like a glove.
It was worth the wait.
I’m relieved too knowing my iPad 12 pro is safe from damage and is more like a little laptop to use now. My next purchase is the wireless mouse.

I like the tablet case
It is just what I needed. I got it on sale. It will work great for flying and road trips as it props up my tablet for use and the keyboard separates from the case. I like it!

Huge disappointment!
First set came as damaged stock. None of the keys work and after Bluetooth connection, the keyboard automatically pressing “0†none stop. I had to pay for a replacement shipment, and replace set came DAMAGED GOODS TOO! The battery last less than 4 hours, red light on on/off button keeps blinking + backlit not working. Going to return all stocks and ask for refund! Wasting time and energy plus I had to pay for all shipment. Support team is not responsive. It takes days for them to reply email. Their phone support in Asia can only speak mandarin. In the first place stock should be checked before sending out! And now I wasted all the postage and added frustration plus delay. Full of nonsense.

Pretty good

Not the best design
I've been waiting for Zagg to release a case for my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9†since I purchased it. I saw this one and was so excited to get it until it came. The design is horrible. My husband also has a 12.9†iPad that is older and has a keyboard case that is a much better design. On his the keyboard flap folds in half leaving only the keyboard reducing the footprint of the iPad with the stand flap engaged where the Zagg Slim Book Go does not. I have found it impossible to use the case with the keyboard attached to the iPad while using a lap desk (which is where I use it 90% of the time). I'd love to return it but I think my time to do so has passed. I love Zagg products, but this one misses the mark, BIG TIME.

Good solid keyboard
Nice feel with the keys. Reliable bluetooth connection and long battery life. Only gripe is there is a slot for the Apple pencil which is too big for the Apple Pencil 2. But the Apple Pencil can be charged and stored on the top of the case as well.
