Semi easy install when compared to other solution. Does exactly as advertised

The GUI is a little clunky compared to other solutions. Inability to backup O365/Exchange Online

It has some limitations that in theory comes from MS365, API throttling limit.

I use two Recovery-9032S appliances to back up and replicate our VMware infrastructure to a remote office, and I couldn’t be happier with the performance. It works exactly as intended—reliable, efficient, and easy to manage. The customer support has been consistently responsive and helpful whenever I’ve needed assistance. Unitrends has already proven its value multiple times by enabling fast and successful recovery of VMs tailored to the unique needs of our VMware-only environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to also see support for Proxmox if possible given the situation of VMware after being purchased by Broadcom.
What do you like best about the product?
The UI has improved over the last few years. More intuitive. The recovery process is also more streamlined.

When a backup process fails, it does not provide much detail as to why in the notifications.

The UI is very intuitive and has all the information needed.

Updating the local agent on all the VMs can be time consuming.

Like that the system is agent/appliance based. Making it harder for ransomware to attack the backup copies. Does any machine on the network. Not just VMs. Central dashboard to manage all clients and jobs.

Non-cloud offsite copies take a long time to make using the external removable SATA drives.

Whenever we've run into an issue support has been right there to guide us through the process to restore our services.

The user interface is a bit outdated and when there is an issue there really isn't much detail to lead you to the correct solution without contacting support.

The Uniview dashboard really gives me complete access to everything related to our backups. It is great to see everything in one place and not need to access each application independently.
What do you dislike about the product?
After being bought by Kaseya, it caused a lot of duplication. We have Kaseya VSA and UniView, which appear to do the same functions but are completely separate applications.
