Tripp Lite's SS7415-15 four-foot power strip with AC surge suppression offers a convenient method of horizontal or vertical power distribution in equipment racks, computer rooms, workbenches, raceways and more. Includes 16 NEMA 5-15R output receptacles with 2.717 inch center-to-center spacing, 15 foot AC line cord and adjustable mounting clips for installation in a wide variety of applications. Protects connected equipment from transient surges and line noise with built in surge suppression rated at 450 joules. Corded, multi-outlet strip reduces cabling clutter and enables the connection of multiple electrical devices to a single AC wall socket. Solid solution for a computer desk.
These things are solid. I mounted it under the overhang at the back of my desk, and everything is plugged in with a couple to spare. The clips work like a champ. 10/10.

Serious power strip!
I like it! Build quality seems pretty high, everything sturdy and solid. The mounting clips that are included worked well for me to secure the whole strip down to the surface of a wood block work bench.

Two of these replaced 4 surge protectors
Purchased two of these for the home and they worked out great. One went between the kid's computer desk which are positioned front to front. The other one was secured to the underside of an office desk. In both cases, they cleaned up two separate surge protectors. Sure, these are a bit pricier than your average surge protector but it's worth it for the peace of mind TrippLite brings to the table. TrippLite has been serving both business (data centers) and your average consumer for a long time. Its a brand I trust and recommend.

Installed easily. Very long power cable and LOTS of outlets. I do wish they'd swivel so you could orient power plugs if needed, but the outlets are already spaced so far apart it's not really an issue.
Nice build quality too and the surge and power indicators are a nice touch.

This product was just what we needed in our lab. It solved our daisy-chain linking for the computers. It helped in the controlling of massive amounts of cords. So much easier to help in individual computer cord issues.

MAKES LIFE EASIER IN THE KITCHEN
I use this in my kitchen. I have it mounted horizontally at the top of my countertop. I have my small appliances all plugged in for easy use. It is very nice looking, too. I would definitely purchase again.

1650 Joules NOT 400
I love everything about this 4ft power strip. It is indeed rated 1650 joules (as noted in the literature located inside the box), not 400 joules like some sites state online. Very nice construction. This was my first Tripplite purchase and I have already bought a second smaller one after seeing how nice it was. Second Tripplite was also very nice in a totally different model. My home office and entertainment area equipment are both well protected now and organized. I'll most likely need to buy another one in the future for other uses and when that time comes, I'll be ordering another TrippLite for sure.

Very Convenient
This is the second of these devices I've purchased. I find them super handy since they make it possible to plug many things into them in a short distance. The circuit protection is a great feature and the long power cord eliminates the need for an extension. The products seem quite durable and work well.

We bought these for our school's computer lab and they worked out great. Diminished the amount of wires in the room and allowed us to plug in more laptops then the regular surge protectors.

Essential for the home theater
I use this extra long surge protector behind a set of shelves that hold AV equipment and a variety of game consoles. It's thin, but provides adequate room between outlets. No longer do I have to pick where devices get plugged into based on plug size, or run absolutely everything to one side of the shelves. It's great, there isn't any overcrowding, and access remains easy. I liked it so much I got a slightly smaller unit for the same application in a different location.

I use this surge suppressor to power my home theater. The outlets ae perfectly spaced to accommodate all the different power bricks, and plugs of my AV gear.

Solid Hardware that beats those plastic power strips.
Perfect for my needs. I installed this under my 6 foot sit and stand desk. Given the varying height, I wanted as few cords hanging down the floor as possible. This power strip is solid construction and has ample room for all the darn wall warts that get plugged in. Wasn't the cheapest surge protector but certainly one of the nicer ones.
