This matrix switch/splitter features four HDMI inputs and two HDMI outputs. This allows you to connect as many as four high-definition video sources, such as Blu-ray players, video game systems, Roku boxes, laptops, media servers or cable/satellite boxes, and transmit them to two high-definition televisions, projectors or monitors. The B118-2X4-4K-A is recommended for home theaters (transmit to HDTVs located in different rooms) or digital signage applications in classrooms, bars, restaurants, conference rooms, lecture halls and trade shows.

Send the same video image to both displays or transmit different videos and rotate among them. You can use the buttons built into the front of the unit to switch between the connected sources displayed on the two monitors. The B118-2X4-4K-A also includes an IR remote that lets you not only choose between the connected video sources, but also mute the sound and power on/off the unit.

The B118-2X4-4K-A supports Ultra HD video resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60 Hz with 36-bit Deep Color. It's compatible with HDMI 2.0 standards for carrying HDR (high dynamic range) signals, which provides a wide range of vibrant colors with richer contrast, brighter whites and deeper blacks. HDCP 2.2 compliance allows you to stream iTunes and Netflix content with no complications. This switch also supports 4:4:4 chroma subsampling for top-level PC gaming or using your HDTV as a PC monitor.

TOSLINK/coaxial and RCA right/left audio ports allow you to connect an amplifier, receiver or soundbar for optical, digital or analog sound. The B118-2X4-4K-A supports 7.1-channel LPCM, DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD.

The B118-2X4-4K-A works right out of the box with no software required. Use HDMI cabling (such as Tripp Lite's P569-Series high-speed cables, sold separately) to connect up to four sources and two displays. The included power supply comes with four international plug adapters (North America, Europe, United Kingdom, Australia).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for an entertainment center with many devices I bought this device to replace a cheap, knock off HDMI/Audio extractor. Main reason I needed this was to extract audio since my projector is mounted on the ceiling and I have multiple streaming devices. I have it hooked up to 4 input devices and output A is hooked up to the projector, I also have it to extract audio via audio pass through with a toslink cable onto a 5.1 soundbar. It has the ability to connect to a second display if you have multiple TVs and wanting to have them both share the same devices. It's worth noting that extracted audio while content is being displayed on two screens only works for output A, so if you are simultaneously watching on two displays it won't work for output B (second display). It's 4K compatible at 60 Hz and supports HDR. The box is tiny, smaller than I expected, which is great since I can easily hide it. Outer chassis is made out of metal, so big win on that. The remote does looks cheap, but functional so can't really complain. I know it's pricier than the knock off ones, but I can tell this thing will last me years. None of the HDMI ports are loose like you would see on the knock off versions. Overall if you're willing to spend the money for high quality, this is the one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product solves a problem with my work desktop setup I have two laptops with two monitors and this is one of very few matrix switches that are both affordable and run 4K@60Hz. Many others can only do 4K@30Hz.
