Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these but has battery issues I have had these 2 years and I rarely use them anymore. I want to use them more but last year they started having a problem where the left ear bud would drain power in the charge case so I could only reliably use the right one. Now both earbuds have problems. The case and earbuds drain power constantly, so if I want to use them I have to charge the case an hour before I want to use it. Even then, I only get about 10 minutes of use out of the left earbud and about 45 minutes with the right earbud when listening to music If these didn't have the battery issues I would love them. I love the open ear design, the comfort, the microphone quality, but I regret paying almost $200 for them because of all the problems they have given me

I use these when I go running and they don't fall our and they're very comfortable. I also use them for work to listen to music and attend conference calls. They have a great battery life, lasted 4 hours during my marathon! Makes it super easy to run without a phone and use my running watch to listen to music. It also has a super easy charging method. Would make a great gift and a an amazing product.

They are waterproof and have a open ear design. Although they are small, they're really easy to operate, switching from music to answering a call. They also come with their own charging case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, crisp sound These took a little time to get used to for me. Once I got more comfortable with the physical part of wearing, I really like them. I like being able to hear what I'm connected to, and still be able to hear what's going on around me. The battery life is pretty good. The volume doesn't get extremely loud, but if it did and your wanting to hear around you, that would be difficult. The case is pretty small, and lightweight. It's almost like a paper material. These seem like a great quality ear bud.

They are comfortable for a little while once you get them to sit properly. Battery life is good. Charges with same charger type as my phone. Pleased with the product overall.

I can’t love these enough! I love the cool feature of having an auto pause when I speak. It is such a nice thing to have when in a public setting or driving down the road. Being able to turn that on and off is so nice and easy. The sound is exceptional and I love the ability to tap just below my ear to play pause or answer a call. These Sony LinkBuds are just wonderful and I highly recommend them!

It comes with 5 different sizes to fit according to your wear. For a perfect fit and a perfect volume. It looks hidden like you not using any buds. They are light for all day wear. The holes is a donut shape feature which is pretty impressive, to be able to hear your surroundings as well as listen to music. Another cool feature It detects voices. If you listening to music and someone starts to talk it will pause ,and resume back up,once there's no more voice. It's splash proof and super comfortable and super loud. It holds a 5.5 hour charge ,pretty cool and a quick 10 min charge will give you ,1 and a half hours ,just pop back in case. It's very good for voice calls ,it's super clear. I like that you can tap on face ,right in front of ear,instead of bud. 2 taps to pause and 3 taps to advance a track. Comes in 2 colors ,black and white .Also download the Sony app,there lots of cool features. I would highly recommend this fabulous product.

Fitting them in your ear is.. odd but once you figure it out it's easy and they are super secure. I love that these do not block out all surrounding noises as well. I would but these again without hesitation.

The mic does a great job picking up what I am saying. The shape did take a little bit to get used to, but after that they are very comfortable. I highly recommend getting this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome design! I really like these Sony LinkBuds. The design is super cool. I love that I can listen to music and still hear what’s going on around me. I would like to wear headphones while walking the dog so I could listen to music or podcasts. That always seemed to dangerous with traditional headphones, noise cancelling, etc. The LinkBuds allow for the best of both worlds-I can listen to what I want to, and I am aware of what’s going on around me. I like that they come with a charging case and cord, simple to charge. The sound is what you would expect it to be, good but not as good as noise canceling or other types that seal up your ear. It didn’t take me long to figure out how to put these in, and they come with “sizers” to adjust the fit.

While wearing these buds you are still able to hear ambient sounds around you. However you do get a high quality sound coming from the earbuds themselves. I was very impressed by the technological advances that these buds have. I like that to control volume you actually only have to touch your face around your ear instead of the bud itself. They sit very comfortably in your ear and they have a decent battery life. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a higher quality earbud.

The fit is not too tight. The sound is like 360 stereo,. Love these! I highly recommend these! They are very easy to setup!

These are some awesome ear buds the sound is just perfect and they look super nice to. They are really easy to set up. They come with charger box and different size ear covers to fit your ear’s. They are excellent fitting. These are the perfect ear buds all the way around. They have Alexa and Google on them which is just awesome. Love them! Excellent product!

For me they are somewhat uncomfortable as I have super small ears, but I am going to try the XS rubber rings that hold them in your ears. It took me awhile to figure out how to pause or switch songs, but once I discovered you just tap the pods they are really easy to operate. Overall, I am happy with these earbuds.

The only thing is, they are to big for my ears. I have small ears and after wearing them for about 20 mins I have to take them off and rub my ears. I tried the smaller rubbers, but that didn't help. The ear bud itself is what's to big for me. They fit my husband with no problem. I just don't recommend if u have smaller ears.

These headphones come beautifully packaged in a small box that contains everything you need to get set up; a carrying case that charges the buds, directions and charging cable to charge the case. Straight out of the box it is so simple to get started. This absolute unique design is so adjustable that it can fit the smaller or largest of ears. I usually use these for all day wear whilst at work or at the gym and it doesn’t hurt after awhile. I can also still hear and interact with the world around me and listen to music at the same time. I also love that there’s an app to allow you to control your sound settings. Let’s just say I no longer utilize my AirPods. I would highly recommend recommend.

I love that it also cancels out the noise around me when I have them in. They fit nice and comfortable in my ears and don't fall out. They were super easy to get charged and set up for the first use also. Sound quality also is top notch in my opinion.

The app has good features to control the buds. The charging case is quick to charge and the buds recharge quickly in the case as well. It is small and easy to bring anywhere. The buds themselves took me some time to adjust to wearing as the shape and fit are unlike any I have worn before. Definitely need to find your right size fit and they are comfortable. The tap through feature works great, such a great feature but the sound quality is what really got me, the sound is so crisp and clear. I can wear these for a long period of time and like that I can take calls and listen to my music while going about my day.

She likes the look of them and says the sound quality is very nice. Most important she said , is they do not hurt her ears after having them in for long periods of time!

It was so easy to link with my iPhone, I love the shape of the linkbuds fit in my ear perfectly, don’t have to worry about them falling out, like the AirPods. The linkbuds fits so snuggly in my ear but not irritating at all, and the volume is so beautiful the sound is crystal clear. I wore the Linkbuds while I was exercising and I felt like I was in my own world, I did not once feel like they were going to drop out my head and the music sound so good I caught myself singing out loud a couple of time. Let’s not forget about the cute small case they come in, fit perfectly in my pocket or in my pouch while exercising . I so so in love with these Linkbuds they are perfect!!!

I dont have any problems with the bud falling out, kinda fits real snug in the ear. They're light weight so they don't make my ears ache. The charge lasts forever! The case is so tiny I can fit it in my pocket pretty discreatly. I can not figure if they are a touch turn off or skip. I can't find directions that came with them. The linkbuds come with extra sizes for the loop that tucks in the crease of the ear, I appreciate.

It has great features, if they worked the same every time. If I cough or clear my throat, the earbuds pause. Too much dissatisfaction for one product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still debating Even though at the beginning I was static on the product and led by some reviews I have to try this myself and decided to buy one; so far I have been using this in my work environment but I won't recommend using this on the medical field if you are on a call with patients they can hear all conversation around you compared to other devices I use in the past however design wise is pretty neat sound quality good to listen to music also you can hear your surrounding... another feature I've trying to work is on the fitting on my ears I start with XS then S and seemly to be working just for a little while then falls of somehow so I have to readjust. battery life is debatable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for video conferencing I bought this about a month ago to replace headsets for video conferencing. Sound quality is very good, especially with the open design. Connection is somewhat questionable, but if you are not too far from your computers, connection is generally stable. Tapping options are limited, and you can only set the options from phone application, and there are no options for laptops. Battery time is short, where continuous use gave me a little over two hours, then the right unit gave up. I have mixed feelings about this one. Most likely I will end up using it for one hour conference call, then put it back on the charger for next meetings

I have tried contacting support multiple times with 0 success and receiving 0 support. The live chat automatically goes to "sorry we encountered technical difficulties please try again later goodbye" then the chat closes. When you try to call in, it goes straight to "we are having difficulty finding a live support agent please try again later goodbye" then hangs up. I own multiple Sony headphones however will never purchase a Sony product again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Left one failed after 2 months I only used them in evening with IPad. Never outside. With gentle use the left linkbud failed within 2 months of owning. The sound is OK. I do appreciate the easy fit, but the little black spring can make your ear sore after an hour or so. But, better than having to shove a tip into my ear canal. And I appreciate the ambient design.

I have to turn the volume all the way up to barely hear it. Sony return policy is outdated. Every time I had a return something the company email me a label for free or they will take the return fee out of my refund. Do not buy these unless you work in a quiet area or if you like taking extra steps to return product.

I got the LinkBuds and now I can listen to my music and still hear the street noise. The LinkBuds sound fantastic and when I am not using them, I put them back into the case and it all fits nicely in my pocket.

Even after adjusting the equalizers on the app, it still doesn't have a lot of bass. The mids and highs are flat and not overdone.

The design is promising if they could match it with sound quality and another way to stay set in ear. For around 160$ these should not be bought by anyone. Much better options in the market.

For me (and i realize everyone's ears are different), these don't really stay in my ears very well (and yes, i tried the different rubber pieces). I wish I had bought something that went into my ear canal instead of these. Don't get me wrong, the quality and sound is awesome!!!

I work in a manufacturing plant and with lots of machinery and forklifts and what not being able to hear the world around me is very important to my safety. Although these earbuds do allow you to hear what’s around you better, when the music is on its still a bit more difficult to hear than I would like. I know I’m sounding a bit contradicting but I don’t really know how to put what I mean into words so that’s the best I can do. Other than that, maybe the could design them to be more customizable to the wearer. They can be a bit uncomfortable and make my ear sore where the bumpers and I’ve tried all the bumpers that come with it and they all do the same.

The open ring is very comfortable, and I like how they have different size comfort rings to fit in your ear. They fit perfectly and the sound is perfect not to loud in my ear. I can hear all my calls clearly when they come in, listening to music is great. The charger case is great for when I am on the go. I don't need to plug them in all the time. The earbuds last and I love that about them. They easily clean and store away well, not bulky at all.

But still struggling a bit for fitment. Tried all the included 'things' for adjustment, but just can't get a fit that feels secure. I like the concept of the fit, they seem 'cooler' than say my LiveBuds from that other company, but just don't feel secure in the ear.

I have to use 1 earbid at a time to get through the work day on a single charge. audio sometimes skips while my phone is in my pocket & I'm walking, as if the ~3 feet from my phone is too far for a solid connection.

I've tried all of the adjustable bands but they hurt to wear. they also are a bit touchy to fit aswell, they sometimes fall out if I don't out them in tight enough or they hurt and I can wear them for any longer than 20 minutes. I've followed the videos and I'm just not sure what I'm doing wrong or if my ears are just too small for the product.

I'm still working out how best to have that set, but the sound quality is way better than I expected. I love the ability to be able to tap the side of my jaw or close to my ear and have it take my commands. The application to manage them is also very helpful for tips & tricks and getting everything just the way you like it :)

The whole thing is hard plastic, Including the area that sits in your ears. It felt low quality, but the battery lasted a while and was easy to charge. Its only good for short periods of time.

I bought these because I work in an industrial environment and I want to be aware of my surroundings while walking but I also want to be able to answer calls at times, they work perfectly fine for that purpose, they're not too loud which I think is a benefit in my case but sometimes the case overheats while charging, and I cant find a specific scenario for when it happens, I've tried to recreate it by using different chargers & cables but it seems to be random, the plastic on the case is starting to look burnt and started to crack due to the heat, another downside of the earbuds is that they're kind of hard to hold as you're removing them or placing them in their case, it always makes you feel like they might slip your fingers and you'll drop them, they are magnetic and they snap in place into the case but for some reason they will absolutely bounce out of the case every single time you accidentally drop it, they take some getting used to, at first they might feel like they will fall out of your ear but this has actually never happened to me and at times I even forget I have them on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, unreliable in long term In theory these open-ear earbuds are perfect for my bus commute, and the wide area tap is convenient for using the controls without fiddling for the right button. Adaptive volume control had limited range but was handy to a point. The earbuds sit comfortably in my ears. However, the Bluetooth connection was really weak, I can't keep my phone in my front pocket without my connection cutting out or at best, out of sync between ears. I don't expect the highest quality sound from open-ear, but within a couple months there was an occasional buzzing in the right ear that has been getting worse. After having them for a year, the left earbud does not charge consistently and loses all charge in the time the other bud uses 2% of its battery. I really liked these while they lasted but they didn't last long enough.

The model does not exist at the time I registered the product on the Sony US site, so I had to register it as a random WF-L900 headset. This product did not have a single review at the time of purchase, so I decided to take a "leap of faith". Disadvantages: - They do not feature noise cancellation. But I didn't choose them for that but wanted them to have the best ambient noise possible since I would be using them to commute to work. - They do not have volume up/down buttons or gestures. THIS IS IMPORTANT! - Microsoft Teams functions can only be activated on the left earbud. You can't change what this headset does, so if you want to customize any gestures, you can only do it on the right earbud, and options are limited. - If you activate the voice assistant, it doesn't read notifications to you automatically, you will have to ask it from time to time. - Battery time is low, compared to similar cost options. Advantages - By design, they have the best ambient noise you can ask for, it is simply the best choice if you want to be aware of your surroundings while commuting to work. - The integration with Microsoft Teams is natural and very useful when you use the USB dongle. Too bad you don't have the same experience when using it on your cell phone with the same application. No mute/raise hand features when using Teams on your smartphone.

I loved the concept of an open-back earbud that sat comfortably in the ear without sticking out, since it meant that I could easily lay on my side without any discomfort and it was very useful for use in an environment where I constantly need to be aware of my surroundings. About one year into use, I noticed that the LinkBuds no longer charged as they should. It felt like every other day I would take them out of their case and I would get the low battery indicator sound. I would charge them back up, use them, but they also would not last quite as long. Lately it has regressed to the point where I have to plug them back in to charge every morning before I can use it for an hour or two, max. I have tried cleaning the metal contacts and charging port, updating the firmware and resetting the firmware to no avail. I have had success with previous Sony headphones and earbuds but this product definitely makes me feel uneasy about trusting them blindly.

You can clearly hear as well which is so nice. I like how the volume will also adjust ti what ever environment you are in. The quality of sound is great. They will hold up to almost 6 hours of battery life. I like how if I get a call it automatically stops what I am listening to picks up the call and when i am finish automatically goes back to what I was listening to. The link buds are very light weight I almost forget I have them on. I would highly recommend this product!

For some reason I can’t handle iems. If they go in the ear, or even AirPods. My ears have always been so sensitive that any pressure results in pain or swelling. I try to stay away from most in ear styles for this main reason. A secondary reason is the pressure from the sound isolation has never been comfortable to me. Feeling like I’m underwater, rather than silence. It’s awful. AirPods 3 were my go to since their release late last year, but they still caused a bit of discomfort. They would also fall out. The convenience of using iOS and AirPods plus the higher than average sound quality made me push through.

The sound is so smooth and amazing! I have owned a lot of headphones and ear buds in my time and nothing compares to these! Similar competitor brands have nothing at all on these! I love the app feature that you can download with tons of different tasks and things you can do to learn about them. For someone that has tried almost every type of wireless earbuds out there, these are in a league of their own and I will tell you exactly why. 1. They are the perfect size. They are super discreet and when I am wearing them I barely feel that they are there. They aren’t bulky at all, are super comfortable and I love the size and look of the earbuds and their case. When I am wearing them I don’t feel them at all. It’s incredible! And maybe even more incredible is that they don’t fall out when I take off my sweatshirt or throw on an extra layer. I’ve never had wireless earbuds before that stayed in my ears so well but that I didn’t feel! 2. The sound quality is exceptional!! I listen to music and podcasts all day as I do work and I have never had better sound quality on wireless earbuds. It sounds like surround sound in my ears. I love it. It’s amazing that you can use the Sony app to change the sound specifications to your liking (i.e. more or less bass etc). I also appreciate that the hole shaped earbuds allow exterior noise in so I can hear when people are talking to me, but it doesn’t limit the amazing sound quality which is what makes these earbuds in a league of their own. 3. The charge lasts so long! So much longer than the other wireless earbuds I was using. I can get hours and hours of listening time without having to recharge which is a complete game changer from what I was used to. 4. The touch control on these is legitimately the coolest thing ever!!! Instead of touching the earbuds to control them, you touch the your head right next to your ear. It sounds crazy, but it has worked so well for me and has been my far my favorite feature on these Sony Linkbuds. All in all, these are a MUST have for anyone looking for the best wireless earbuds on the market. They are small/comfy, have incredible sound quality, amazing battery life and the coolest new features. Try it out for yourself and I’m sure you’ll be as impressed as I am!!

They work great with the Google Assistant. Very clear treble with good mids. The bass is not the greatest. That's what keeps this from 5 stars. They are incredibly comfortable and the sounds quality is really great. There are a few complaints I have though. The update process for them takes quite a while and the Sony app has to remain open the entire time in order for it to complete. The charging case itself is very very small, and the hinge is super loose. The 3D sound feature is neat but requires a special audio app with a subscription to take advantage of. But the buds themselves are a nice build quality. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

These come with earloops in four sizes for comfort and fit. The earbuds fit nicely in my ear and I was able to run on the treadmill without them falling out. Setting these up was really easy and user friendly through the app. The app guided me through everything and I was connected in just a few minutes. The sound is very clear. The volume doesn’t get super loud in my ears, but it’s loud enough to be enjoyable. The app has different equalizer presets and you can create a couple custom settings also. The coolest feature with these is that you tap your cheek (in front of the earbud) to pause/resume/change volume.

There are other little plastic pieces for comfortability and fit, but the standard ones already on the linkbuds we’re perfect for me. There are times where I’ve forgotten that they were even in my ears. The bass levels aren’t where you’d want them to be if you love bass, but that’s okay with me. One other perk that I love is that me and my wife can watch a show together on my phone without needing our heads so close to each other, like we would with wired headphones. Definitely an innovative step in a great direction!

It looks odd at first glance but once you pop them in you realize they fit more comfortably than the others. Great design! They’re designed to take in the surrounding sounds which is great because I take the subway a lot and things can happen. I like being aware of my surroundings. Everything is noise canceling these days. If I’m at my PC and my wife or daughter call out to me I’d like to be able to hear them. Now let’s get into the sound… Amazing! These earbuds sound so good. One of the things I was most impressed was that I didn’t have to charge them since they were ready to use. And as soon as I put them in my ears they paired with my iPhone 12 I didn’t have to do anything. I was very impressed with the sound and the quality of the songs. At first I thought they were going to fall out but the fitting supporter really does a great job. The case comes with a cable where you can charge it and it also charges the Link buds. They are lightweight and very comfortable to wear. The tap control is very useful if you take a link bud out of your ear; the music will pause automatically. Great link buds! I Love and have many Sony products and they haven’t disappointed me one bit, I’m truly happy with my Link Buds and I Definitely recommend it to anyone!

The app does have a lot of features. I wouldn’t personally use much of them but I can see how some might enjoy them. The app tracks your usage. The ear buds have a stop to speak feature. If you start talking it will automatically pause the sound so you can hear the other person. It also has gestures that I haven’t mastered yet. You actually tap in front of them instead of the device itself. The charging case is small and compact. Buds are comfortable even lying down.

I was a little unsure of the concept at first, seeing pictures of how people wear them and if I’d like them. They’re really great for at home or even on a run where you want to listen to something but still be aware of your surroundings, like listening for kids or a car behind you, etc. they have a great sound and fairly comfortable.

It was extremely easy to pair them as well as each time I go to use them again, I can listen almost immediately! They are also extremely comfortable, and don't fall out of my ears like many others do!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not simple setup I was excited to receive these headphones, but that quickly faded when I opened the package and realized I had to download an app and register in order to pair the headphones to my phone via Bluetooth. I think having an app for additional functionality is great, but it became a limiting factor for me because I couldn’t just open them up, pair, and use. The case is light weight and I was happy about the recyclable packaging that they came in though. Overall, they are fair headphones but I much prefer a simpler pairing process.

I did seem to have some issues hearing correctly when I would turn my head to the left or right. It would almost occuled or muffle the sound. Not sure if it is just me but one thing I did notice. The sound quality is good and they are very comfortable to wear, you almost dont notice them being in your ear at all. I like the product and would definetly recommend for those reasons.

Hands down these are the best I’ve had . Comfortable , my ear doesn’t hurt like the others do , easy to clean and you can hear what’s going on around you way more ! I can hear if i drop the weights to hard , or if I’m grunting like a gorilla. On top of all that the sound quality is absolutely wonderful ! They hit it out of the park with these !

Got these because although I like (need) to listen to music/podcasts etc at work, mainly to drown out the annoying 'kids' whining all day long, I also need to be able to hear what is going on around me (are they talking about me now?) Conventional earbuds have not been able to allow you to listen to music but still hear ambient sounds, but these do and do it really well. The sound is crisp, clear and accurate, the 'hole' in them allows you to hear what is going on around you, but not in a distracting way. There are 3 different sizes of rings for the part that goes in your ear canal which allows you to customize the fit. These are the first earbuds that fit my ear canal comfortably, so much so I cannot tell they are in. They stay in - I have run, mountain biked, exercised and they have stayed in perfectly. Syncing to my iPhone and bluetooth radio was super easy. The craziest thing is rather than tap the earbud, you tap near your ear to turn them off, change volume etc. It works really great and is so intuitive. the charging case is teensy. The earbuds hold a change well and they charge quickly. Good value, great sound, easy to use!

They are easy to install with the help of the app. I love the open ring design made to wear your able to hear outside of just the music! You can also adjust it by touching the ear piece! They are also water resistant! I am overall happy with this product and would definitely recommend!

Well no more searching for me the fit was perfect very comfortable in my ear. Light wait design can't beat the sound quality as well so many features to list the app has great features as well only negative thing is the touch options on the ear buds themselves I find hard to use but other than that these are my go to.

Once I watched the videos on them it was actually very easy. I tested them out in many situations and I have to say they stay in my ears better than my AirPods. I’ll be using these more!

The volume is really great on them and you can listen to them even a little bit of a distance from your phone . It was very easy to hook them up to my Bluetooth on my phone . The app to control them on is a great idea but I wouldn’t want to have to use an app and get getting on my phone to control them if I was out on a run or doing something where I could not use my phone .

They are perfect and can be customized to fit in your ear even better with the little rubber ring spacers. I love that it will stop playing the music when I start to talk to someone. I also love that I can still hear my surroundings when they are in and playing because of the open concept. The battery life is ok so far but I don’t use them tons. I love that I can put them back in the case and they can charge quickly.

In comparison to those the LinkBuds are much more comfortable, actually stay in your ear, adjustable sized, and customizable. The app for the headphones was effective and easy to use, but I did not like the adaptive volume control. Also, I really like the case its well made and easy to clean and use.

Out of the box, they are partially charged allowing for set up. They linked easily to my phone & registration was a breeze via the QR code in the box.. An update took about 15 minutes & I was able to enjoy some tunes during the process. They fit well but sizers are included if they're too loose or tight. The charger is included as well. In terms of sound, it is full and vibrant. I was able to appreciate some notes in my favorite songs that I'd missed in the past & notifications came through without issue. Overall, the LinkBuds are great! While it may not matter to everyone, I also really like that I can wear earrings while using them... sometimes it's the little things that make me smile. Five stars for sure!

I love that I can hear what others are saying to me while the earbuds are in. I have had other brands and if anyone is trying to talk to me I have to take them out to hear them, this is definitely a plus. It was a little bit of work to download the app in order to sync the earbuds to my phone. But it’s not bad and I am really happy with them.

They pair with my laptop really well. For some reason I can't get them to pair with my cell phone. I like the small case charging case they come in. They charge up really fast. My husband, kids, and I all tried these and they want a pair also so we will buy more of these in the future. I recommend these.

LinkBuds are great for walking around in public, sitting in the office, etc. LinkBuds are also okay to workout in; however, they probably not the best for intense exercises. I find the LinkBuds have difficulty staying in the ear, but I have also found all wireless buds seem to fail staying in the ear. I prefer buds that wrap the ear for gym activities. LinkBuds are stylish and more a leisure type headphone. They are super easy to use, set-up, and charge. I would highly recommend LinkBuds.

I will say, I have a different pair of headphones for exercising/running because these do not seem stable enough to stay in my ears during any intense exercise. So, I primarily use these for working/cooking/cleaning. I usually listen to audiobooks or podcasts on them, rather than music. So, while I love that you can change bass settings, etc. on the Sony Connect app, I haven't had to use that much. What I like most about these headphones is how lightweight and comfortable they are. It took a minute to get used to the fact that they are not "in-ear" headphones, but that actually makes them super comfy. They are so lightweight I often forget they are there. The sound quality is great for audiobooks, etc., but I have not listened to much music on them. I also love how they adjust to your environment/you can hear what is going on around you. The pairing process was not intuitive with my phone, but the instructions were easy to follow, and I like how customizable your sound experience can be through the app. Overall very happy with these headphones!

The circle part goes inside your ear and then nestles there. They have a small rubber circle at the top to grip to get them out. They are more comfortable if you don't have tiny ears. My gripe is that they are way quieter than I like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A unique design and great sound quality The Sony Linkbuds are an interesting ear bud headphone! They are truly wireless and are bluetooth connected. They pair easily with my phone and my laptop through the bluetooth connection. It is an easy charge, too, with a wide charging cable that is USB on one end. The look of the Linkbuds is unique and I like it a lot. I also like that these sit on the exterior of the ear canal. The headphones come with several of the clear bands that the user tries out to determine the right fit for them. This process can feel strange since the buds do not go into the inner ear, but stay on the outside. The sound quality is great. I have listened to my favorite music and audiobooks and podcasts and found it really nice to listen to. The sound is clear and surrounds you, as if you are standing in a room with the person talking or singing. It's a great feeling! The box/case for carrying the ear buds is about the size of a ring box (similar in size to other ear buds), so it might need a tracker on it if you're like me and tend to lose things. If you're using these while running or other rigorous activity, you'll want to ensure a snug fit. I had a difficult time with this part and maybe the ridges of my ear are not deep enough, but I find myself only trusting these to stay put while I'm working, rather than when I'm exercising, which is why I'm giving them only 4 stars. The upside of this design is that they don't go into the inner ear and are comfortable and also don't seem to end up with earwax on them. Overall, a great product.

Packaging was minimal and a great way to reduce waste of extra paper packaging. The charging case is compact and has a quality feel. Sound falls flat and Bluetooth connection is unstable quite often.

It come with instructions to put them in your ear and different size rubber pieces to fit any size ear. Very easy to install all you have to do it scan an QR code and the app pops up and you connect to blue tooth and you can use right away. Once charged they last about 5 and a half hours at full charge. I would definitely recommend these to all my family and friends.

Crystal clear sound, connect effortlessly to my Galaxy phone and stay connected until I disconnect when needed, fit comfortably and securely with no ear irritation at all. This is the first time I've ever seen the open end, I'm used to the buds you jam in your ear canal and before that the big bulky headphones that make your head itch. I'm really enjoying the Linkbuds because my ear canal is open, no worrying about germs or yuck being pushed into my ear, BUT also the freedom of hearing what is going on around me without messing around taking them out. And being able to tap on my cheekbone or any area around the ear is so much easier than tapping the traditional buds I normally used, no loosening or knocking them out and onto the floor for the cats to play with lol. Finally and I can't express this enough...play around in the app! Do the ear analysis for proper fit and wing tip size, before I changed tips I didn't hear the bass as strong and they just didn't sound and great as I was expecting BUT once I found the analysis and saw I needed a smaller wing tip(super easy to swap out the included various sized ones) I seriously experienced the concert quality I crave. Even though the other tip fit well it wasn't "right"...so take the time to truly get it right before thinking these are subpar for Sony standard. Oh and also in the app you have so many customizable settings, equalizer, presets, bass boosting, the surround optimizer, your music apps, seriously so many things you can personalize to rock your world- literally. I honestly didn't think I would enjoy this style of buds because seriously I like blocking out the world with music, but these actually do give me that escape when I turn the volume up to mind deafening levels...and they still stay crystal clear! Truly a game changer in this boomer's listening life :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It was good until it didn't charge I bought this innovative earphone and was wearing it on my travel in Taiwan and felt very excited about this product. Until when I get back to California and the right ear suddenly stopped charging. After talking to customer service that I realized I have to get it back to Taiwan for warranty which is not possible. I am now frustrated with my only -left-ear-working linkbud. I suspect if that was due to an update of software that triggered that but even before the update the right ear was draining battery a little bit faster than the left ear. I wonder if that was due to the tap function as I set the right ear to be Play/Pause which I use a little more than left ear's tap control. However, as I have attached, you see how the right ear when is placed in the case will always be charging with an Orange light while the left ear is fully charged and is green. The SONY Headphones apps gives you control and status of your headphones and the right one is not linked. I cannot charge or turn it on. It is disappointing that I spent almost $200 on a headphone that lasted a month.... and don't even know how to get my warranty..... I was going to buy another noise canceling over the ear headphones and the new speaker with light but I am a little reserved now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The most comfortable The Linkbuds- So I have a variety of different buds and designs so I was a bit intrigued. full headThey are extremely lightweight to the point I have forgotten I have them in. The best thing I can say about these buds is I have full conversations with the LinkBuds in my ears while remaining fully aware of my surroundings. Due to the open ring design, others may be able to hear what you are listening to so be aware if you are attempting to have a private conversation. The touch controls; The Link Buds do not have any touch controls built-in which I was surprised. Sonys feature is called the Wide Area Tap. Instead of tapping on the LinkBuds to control your music, you tap the area around your ears. This is a feature I personally did not enjoy. While using my Linkbuds to listen to podcasts while applying my makeup, I am “tapping” resulting in me needing to change this feature. The charging case is compact I have Air Pods Pro as well and to compare, the case is smaller but the pods are slimmer. Battery life is rated at 5.5 hours, while the charging case provides an extra 12 hours when fully charged. This isn’t the best for people like myself that like to have these on all day during my work hours but it is not a deal-breaker as I use others to recharge my Linkbuds. If you Like bass, You will not like these as it simply not there. The whole point of these is transparency. In my opinion, If you like to draw out anything while listening to music, you may not like these. I a hundred percent love these personally but use them while doing everything I do not need noise-canceling for. I use my noise-canceling for cleaning, the gym, or watching an action movie. My favorite place to wear my Link Buds is work. I can remain active and present in my workplace while listening to some “good feels” music. I understand this is a unique design, especially since most buds have been focusing on loud and noise-canceling but I am pleasantly surprised at how often I have been using these. I am pretty happy now that I have them. Once you figure out how to place them in your ear which can be a learning curve for some, it will feel amazing. The Sony App will also allow you to change some settings if you would like to completely shut off the Speak – to chat, Equalizer, Tap options, and functions. Ect. I do recommend these but I completely suggest you read up on them because, in my honest opinion, people are giving these buds bad reviews when they are judging them on, for example, noise-canceling when these are not their purpose! I would get these again and recommend them whenever you need the transparency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits My Needs Sony LinkBuds have a unique and innovative open ring, donut-shaped design that allows you to hear the outside world in addition to your music. Included in the box, are a handful of detachable silicone ear fins of different sizes. After some experimentation, I found the fins that fit my ears best. The lightweight buds feel soft but are still quite durable. Even after several straight hours of wearing, the compact and discreet buds felt very comfortable in my ears. Despite the buds small size, they deliver strong audio quality with a well-balanced, crisp and clear sound. However, the bass could be a bit deeper. The battery life of 5.5 hours on a single charge is good but not great. The voice call quality is suberb with excellent clarity. I love the ear-detection sensors that automatically pause my music when I remove a bud from my ear, and then resumes the music when I put the bud back in my ear. I also appreciate the buds' Wide Area Tap feature which allows me to tap my cheek to control playback. Although, these water-resistant buds don't offer noise cancellation and do allow environmental noise in, I don't mind so much. As someone who for personal safety reasons wants to be extra alert with an increased awareness of my surroundings, these earbuds achieve what they're designed to do and perfectly fit my needs.

Other styles of headphones somewhat muffle sounds of the outside even on transparency mode. These were great. I don’t think I would use them in loud environments like an airplane but for my purposes they are wonderful.

I definitely had to read the little tutorial before figuring it out and it took a while to get used to the features. They are easy to connect via Bluetooth though, with automatic prompting. They fit in my ear well and after choosing the right size for me; they didn't bother or hurt my ears. After a while, I'd forget I 2as wearing them sometimes. There are lots of features so I'd recommend downloading the Sony app to take full advantage of everything. There's wide range tapping which means you can control the earbuds (volume, skip/play/pause, calls) by tapping the area around your ear. That took a little bit to get used to and figure out but it is a pretty fun and interesting feature of you get the hang of it. The sound quality is quite good. I streamed videos, listened to music and took a few calls with no trouble. I could hear everything clearly, no echo or weird bass or having to constantly adjust the volume. There is a setting that adjust the volume based on perceived ambient noise. It doesn't always work but it is an interesting feature to try. I imagine with future updates it might be more accurate. The earbuds also have good range, if you move away a bit from your phone or connected device; it doesn't cut off. The only slight issue I had is the battery life doesn't seem to be too long. After fully charging both the case and the headphones with the included charger; I watched a few YouTube videos, listened to some streaming music for a bit and within about 3 hours, I was already getting a low battery notification. The case charge also dropped quite significantly after only a few hours, even when it wasn't in use. Sometimes these aspects are intuitive and adjust over time but so far, it seems the charge I get from earbuds and case is pretty consistent. That's my only disappointment. Other than that; these are great quality, innovative and comfortable design, great functionality, amazing sound quality and lots of interesting and new features to play with.

Seeing them I thought no way they will feel better than airpods but they do! I've owned both v1 and v2 airpods but not the pro version. I also love them but they give my ears fatigue after 30 mins of using them. These feel like i could have them in all day and not really notice. I'm giving them 4/5 stars because the sounds quality isn't quite there. They do sound great but I think airpods going deeper into your ear provides a little better sound. Regardless, they have solid noise cancellation and feel great so I would say solid buy if you're looking for comfort!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A customized experience First, I have to say that the box these earbuds come in is a real treat to open. It's like an intricate puzzle with little cardboard drawers to open. I thought it was really creative packaging (and eco-friendly!). Sony especially hit the mark when it comes to the customization experience. Expect it to take about an hour to set these up and find your best possible fit. The first thing you see when you open the box is a QR code. Scanning it opens a website that guides you through the whole connecting / adjusting phases. The ear tips come in FIVE sizes versus the usual two or three sizes offered by other brands. The software also analyzes the shape of both of your ears (it asks to take a picture at some point during setup) to optimize the sound delivery. As for the way they fit me personally, I found out that my ears are different from one another. The right earbud fits like a glove with the medium silicone eartip, I could forget that it's there. Meanwhile, my left size feels a little too snug even with the xs silicone eartip. It wasn't comfortable on that side initially and I preferred not to push the earbud in all the way (which is perfectly fine for sitting but I wouldn't go on a run like this). After a few days, I find that it's starting to feel better on that side, like my body is taking shape to it just like wearing a ring would. The fact that they don't go inside the ear canal are really a plus comfort-wise. While the fit wasn't 100% spot on for me right out of the box, this is the best fit I've ever found from earbuds (and I've tried MANY brands that I ended up giving away to relatives because I just couldn't stand how they felt). They are light and I can wear them all day, no problem. As a reference, I'm a petite 5' tall woman. During set-up, it prompts you to start a free 3-month trial of one of many music apps that supports 360 degrees sound. As I already had Amazon music, I decided to try TIDAL. I will likely stick to Amazon music in the long term. The 360 capability is a great feature though, the music really comes alive with it. I'm a snob when it comes to music quality and the sound is excellent with these. I mostly enjoy rock music and it comes out well balanced. Podcasts and phone calls are perfectly clear with no annoying vibration or rubbing sounds like I've experienced with other brands. I like to listen to my music loudly and usually max out my headphones. At 50% -60% volume, these are plenty loud for me. I am completely satisfied with their output and quality. It's also neat how they somehow block unwanted background noise, but also connects you to your surroundings quite clearly if someone speak to you or the oven timer beeps, for example. The wireless range is great. I can walk all around the house and not lose signal. On the downside, I find the finger tapping to pause / play isn't very responsive. The wide area tap feature that is advertised doesn't work at all for me. I need to press the earbud directly for it to detect movement. I get mixed results when tapping, sometimes it responds, sometimes it does not. For that reason, I prefer to avoid it altogether and use the controls on my phone instead. When it comes to the way they look when worn, I think I would have preferred a flatter design. Their spherical shape look like marbles in my ears. Maybe they wouldn't stand out as much if I had picked them in black color instead of white. In conclusion, while these earbuds could use a couple of improvements, they are the most comfortable I've gotten to try yet. Setting them up was a truly customized experience. The sound quality is solid. Everything considered, it's a quality product that I can recommend.

They are great the fit was different from other wireless earphones I’ve tried but they definitely did not budge once on. I love that I can hear the surrounding noises like if my baby wakes up or there’s a knock on my door. I think these are perfect for work as well. The sound from the headphones is great I can hear everything loud and clear. It was also super easy to setup.

I haven't had earbuds like this before, where you are actually supposed to hear what is going on in the background. I was not sure if I would like that, but turns out, having buds where you can hear some noise in your environment has been really helpful while I am working! I take calls a lot for work, and it's been helpful being able to still hear a beep if I receive an email or text message notification. I will also use these when I'm outside for walks, as I think it is a safety hazard to not hear if cars are coming or a dog barking, etc. The sound with these earbuds is crisp and clear. I highly recommend these for the environmental situations I have explained above!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing sound So if someone told me that I’m going to make some earbuds with a hole in the middle I’d of thought they were a bit mad....but it turns out they were a bit of a genius. Simply put, I love them. They let you experience the world around you, but do so whilst enjoying music, voice calls and cover everything from work to pleasure. Sound- let’s start here as it‘s clearly had to be adapted to working with the background. They have good bass and sound wide, open and natural. Allowing the background sound in makes them safe for walking around in public or for hearing that essential update on public transport. The earbuds are super comfortable and very light- which is great as with this design you never need to take them out. Think about it- we all take our ear buds out when we need to do something else- not anymore.....they solve a problem you didn't even realise you had. They've been really good for working from home and they stay in all day quite easily. Call quality is top draw. Waterproof rating means that working out is no problem and the good (adjustable) fit means they stay put. Set up was a doddle- up and running in a minute. The dedicated app allows more control and is intuitive. As you would expect there are no issues with the Battery, gets me through a day no problem. Top marks for the environmental credentials- no plastic in the package and they include recycled plastic for the product. So genius is a big claim- but these ear buds really have changed how I use an everyday item.

It is really nice how they cradle at your ear opening instead of fitting in the ear which to me can be annoying. The sound is really good however if you take the steps and set up the 360 reality audio the sound is great! They come with a small charging case and charging cord. Highly recommend.

You can run and jump and they just stay in! They sound very well, although i need to keep repositioning them in my ear to get them to sound like they are suppose to. I think it's due to the fact that they are not noise canceling. My only complaint is that I wish that they would go a little louder than what they do becasue i love loud music. They are super easy to set up and to update. You can do alot with these through the headphones app, like change eq sound and etc. The phone mic works well also. I spoke with a few people who didn't know that I wasn't on the handset. All in all I think these are one of the best earbuds on the market.

My wireless overeat noise canceling headphones are critical for my daily work routine so I have high expectations for these. Sony delivered. The ergonomics are a little cumbersome at first, but it was easily figured out. The sound quality is great and on or with other Sony products. The audio quality when placing a phone or video call was surprisingly accurate. I say surprisingly because every other competing product I’ve used always results in a comment from the person on the other side of the line questioning the quality of my signal. After a week of frequent use I’ve not had a single question about my signal or audio quality. I make a lot of calls for work so this is impressive for me. The charging and connection were an easy setup and adoption process. The only downside I have with these is that I have some awkward earlobes and ear holes. I can’t move to suddenly with any wireless in ear product and while these are better than most, they still don’t fit quite right to go full athlete in them.

And none allowed me to hear things going on around me, while wearing them. I think they have great and clear sound, while play music or listening to a podcast. Callers on the other end were unaware I was chatting with them via linkbuds, so they are clear for phone calls also. The only thing I personally dislike and its just because I am always losing things, the case is quite small and I had to buy a cover so I could find them in my purse.

In the box I found the wireless earbuds with attached supporter, additional ring supporters in various sizes, charging case, and a usb type-c cable. The Sony Linkbuds have a comfortable and unique open ring design. The Sony Linkbuds produced high quality clear sounds during phone calls and while listening to music. I was able to control the audio by tapping in front of my ears. The Sony Linkbuds are very small, lightweight and comfortable to stay in my ear all day.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Connectivity Issues These headphones have a unique design, resting at a diagonal in the ear, with clear, flexible rings that fit under the ridges of your ear. It comes with various sizes which should accommodate most ears. I was able to move my head around and they stayed in place. The unit does go into your ear and is round. The more I wear them the more I personally dislike the circular portion going in my ear. When I went to pair the LinkBuds with my bluetooth I was asked to download the “headphones connect” app. It had me do things like take a photo of my ears, and move my head side to side and up and down. The only way to really learn the functions of the device was trial and error and playing around on the app. You can control volume, playback and other features with double or triple taps near your left and right ears. The app allows you to personalize these preferences. You can also set it up to stop playing if you talk.The downside is it also turns off if someone talks to you. The app will show you the battery life remaining on each bud as well as the charging case. The case charges with the included cord. The case itself is a very light gray and almost feels like smooth cardboard, because it is made from recycled plastic. These linkbuds are not noise canceling so you can hear if someone is trying to talk to you. I found the sound to be what I would expect. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy, just small enough for when I travel so I can play music or watch movies. Within a few days of using them, I experienced some waves of sound coming in and out and light crackling on the left side. Then the left bud stopped working. I struggled to get it reconnected and even though I always charged both buds together, it would show the right at 100% but the left disconnected. After a day of struggling to reconnect the left side, I finally got both playing music again. Within an hour the waves of off and on music and crackling began, now in both buds, then silence. They both disconnected. They had been fully charged. I have tried to reconnect again with no success. I also tried to update the software but it would not allow me to.

One thing I really love about these is the fact they don’t have a rubber piece I have to insert inside my ears. Whenever I have tried earbuds with the rubber they are so uncomfortable and suction into my ear causing pain. These sound great without having that piece and I am very happy. The sound and quality is great and I like that they are not noise canceling. I also don’t have any issues with them falling out of my ears as long as I insert them correctly. I like that I can control the volume of them just by tapping the ear piece. I also like how long the battery life lasts. I can use them several times probably 3-4 hours at a time before needing to charge them again. They easily connect to Bluetooth without any issues as well.

I love the open air feel that allows me to leave the earbuds in my ear and carry a normal conversation with someone nearby without having to take them out. The Bluetooth connection is great and no one complained about not being able to hear me well so the mic is excellent. In loud environments like on an air plain or a train these may not be the best but for day to day office, work out, or casual use they’re great.

Very similar to bone conduction but with a smaller footprint. The sound on this tiny earbuds is quite impressive. When opening the box I was shocked at how small these things are! Most impressive are the features these devices have. I have not seen earbuds that stop playing when I start talking. That is an amazing feature other brands will surely copy. The app that works with the earbuds is also very intuitive and user friendly. I love the EQ that is built in to the app to control the tone of the earbuds. I give this 5 stars for Sony!

The earbuds are so tiny you could hardly feel them and you could still hear people talking to you while listening to your favorite music or podcasts. The sound is well balanced and there is no glitches. The battery doesn’t die quick and you can charge for as quick as 10 minutes to have an hour play time. When I got these I stopped using my AirPods as I found these to be more comfortable. Video and audio calls are crispy clean sound. I got no issues and I am waiting for improvement to the bass. And responsiveness to the stop/play tap. Other than that I highly recommended anyone to try this new technology.

The open ring allowed me to still hear the world outside while maintaining the quality of my music. I took calls with ease. It did take me some time to get use to the design. At first I didn’t think it would fit correctly in my ear and dropped one out a couple of times. I feel the charge cord was a bit on the short side so they often were placed on the floor while I was charging them.

To start, they have their own app which is easy to use and see the health status of my earbuds when needed. It shows the battery level of both the earbuds as the case. I use the earbuds for an hour or so a day and it gets me through most of the week before I need to think about charging the case again. The earbuds use battery life while being used and the case charges them up again so they are ready for the next use. The earbuds fit well in my ear and I don’t feel like they are going to slip out of my ears like other wireless brands I have had. The set up with the silicone band helps keep the earbud in place with minimal movement. There are multiple sizes that come with the earbuds to make sure you have a good fit. The sound of the earbuds is clear and good quality. I’ve used them for phone calls as well and the sound is also clear. The person on the other end can hear me easily as well. When the earbuds detect me talking and I’m listening to a podcast they pause on their own which I really like. Once I’m finished talking, I can tap the earbuds to resume the podcast. One of the things I have some issue with is that the design of the earbuds and hearing outside sounds and wind. While I love that they are open in the middle and feel that this promotes a cleaner earbud that doesn’t pick up crud from my ear, it also interferes with the sound. Because there is some open space in the earbud when it is windy, I can hear the wind and it lowers what I can hear. If there are load noises around me, again the sound coming from the earbuds is harder to hear. I also wish the earbuds came with a longer charging cord. I don’t have a charging station and all of my outlets are high enough on the wall that the cord dangles with the earbuds attached while charging. I wish the case could rest on the counter and not be supported by the charging cable. While I am not a fan no noise cancellation and a short cord, these earbuds are a great option if you are looking for a new pair that’s easy to use, has good sounds quality and a good battery life.

What I look for in wireless Bluetooth headphones is battery life, sound quality, and comfort. These Sony wireless Bluetooth headphones knock it out of the park on all 3 counts. They feel like I'm wearing nothing at all and seem to last all day. The app lets you fine tune sound quality. Best of all is you can hear the outside world too, so you don't miss out on IRL conversation.

They fit really well in my ear but it did take me a few times to get them snug. These buds are really unique in that aspect. The case also feels very light, definitely a difference between other buds I have. The sound.... whew. I'm not really a technical person but if I would've put these on without knowing the brand, I would've thought they were those $5 ones. That bad. It even feels like they aren't very loud. I caught myself trying to turn it up when it was already at max. I'll stick to my other pair.

It took some time getting used to them, but they are quite comfortable and don’t fall out my ears. I even vigorously shook my head to make sure, and they stayed put! The pairing process included downloading an app to access all features, I didn’t like that as I’m running out of storage as is. But besides that, pairing was fairly easy. The open ring design makes it so that you can hear your surroundings while listening to audio on your buds. If you want sound cancelling buds, these are not for you. That leads me into one of the downsides, the actual audio quality. I mostly use earbuds for music and unfortunately these don’t have the best audio quality. Songs sound a bit flat, even after I change the EQ settings on the app. Also, if you are someone that likes to BLAST your music like me, with these buds, those in close proximity can hear your audio. For that reason these won’t be my go-to for jam sessions. However, I find that these work great for the office or any instance when I want to be aware of what’s going on in my surroundings such as commuting by train. Overall, these buds are pretty cool.

The design is great because as a male, I don’t have hair to cover my ear and buds are lightweight and not easily noticeable when you are wearing them out or even at work. What I like about these earbuds the most is the great sound quality you get from them; I don’t notice static or anything like that. You get a great sound quality without blocking out the whole world around you, which is helpful for me when I am wearing them at work, or even during a workout to stay alert and still be able to hear my surroundings. They are easy to charge in the case they come in. I do find myself charging them after a day of work, so they don’t last all day long on one charge, but you do get a good amount of time before they require charging. I like how they are comfortable, but it did take a bit to adjust them to my ear when I first started using them. But now after a month of use they are easy to pop in comfortable, easy to wipe down and clean, easy to charge, easy to use, and you get a great quality sound and great volume. I am a fan of these earbuds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wanted to love them These sounded really great, especially when I downloaded the app and really dug into the settings. My issue comes about with the size. I’m a relatively small person and even with the small sized buds on it the part that fits into the ear up top was too big. I ended up with a sore ear within 10 minutes of wearing them. I did watch the video showing how to wear them correctly and it made no difference. Seems like a great general idea with high quality sound but without it being a bit smaller it will not work for me sadly.

The sound is PERFECT. They are so worth it. They fit comfortably in my ears as well. I’m petite and have smaller ear canals and have no issue. Highly recommend.

These fit snugly in my ears I don’t have to worry about loosing them and the sound from the outside in is completely muted. I can wear them for hours with one charge and they don’t loose connection like others I’ve had.

When I have a chance to try out these ear buds, I can tell the difference. I can give it 5 stars for the sound quality. It’s super smooth, clear and high quality. I also love the case design, small but modern and fits in my coin purse. However, in contrast with all the good points I mention above, I really don’t like the ear bud design. It’s very small and super awkward when I try to put on my ears. I struggle for hours to find the good spots. It comes with some extra plastic rings with different sizes but they’ve not very helpful at all. So the ear buds will stay as long as I don’t move too much so it’s a big inconvenience because I always in the move, especially at my work. I hope that they can improve the design so that it can be more friendly user.

They’re not constantly falling out of my ears when I’m running and they can really hold a charge. They are sweat proof too. To control the volume you can simply tap the front of your ear. Additionally if you are listening to music and you start to speak to someone the earbuds lower the sound automatically. This part really blew me away. The charging case has a small footprint and can easily fit into your pants pocket. These were also really simple to pair with my iPhone. I 100% recommend!

I like the concept of being able to hear what I am listening to in the earbuds, and being able to hear outside of them as well. The balance between both volumes works well. The design is very appealing, and stays in my small outside of my ears nicely. The Bluetooth for the earbuds was easy to set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound! have used many different earbuds, including AirPods Pro, but these are the best. Wearing them, I don't feel isolated from the environment. No more having a loved one yell at you because you can't hear them :-)! Because they don't go in the ear canal there is no pressure. The adjustable hoops make them stay securely in the outer ear unlike AirPods. The Sony 360 Sound works extremely well for compatible streaming services. These are a keeper.

I was so impressed.They have an Integrated V1 Processor making the sound quality pretty sweet! They fit comfortably and snuggly in my ears. Theyre splash proof and sweat proof so working out in them is great. They stay put and the battery lasts up to 5.5 hours and up to 17.5 with the charging case. You can also control your audio by tapping the front of your ears. These are great buds and I truly recommend them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Set of Headphones I have used other headphones that fit in your ear before and my ears always start to hurt from the headphones being in. These new Sony Linkbuds take a few days to get use to with the way they fit in your ear and adjust the fit so they don’t fall out. They are quite comfortable and I have enjoyed using them. So far I have used them for a few weeks and they have worked great. They don’t have a lotta bass which is a good thing. I would recommend these to anyone who needs a good set of comfortable headphones. So far the battery life has been pretty good. I recharge them every couple of days.

Also they are great for jogging/walking they do not fall off your ears when jogging. They also have different in ear sizes for your comfort. They are great for listening to music and still be able to hear your surroundings. I like the ability to have no cords, and I can listen to what I want without disrupting others. I am very careful with them, as they are small and could be easily lost or misplaced, if not put back in the little case. I highly recommend these for anyone that wants something small and comfortable. Also, they linked to wifi without me needing to do anything. Very easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Okay, but noisy I was excited to try these Sony Linkbuds. I put them in at the airport to talk to my mom before boarding the plane. I could hear all of the noise around me and hear her, but she could also hear all of the noise around me and didn't like that. I tried them on the airplane but it was just too noisy to hear my audiobook. I think these will be great for going for walks and exercise, but I'll need something else for the plane rides and noisy environments.

(For reference I got the medium sized ones and I am 6’ 200 lbs). The are not noise canceling, but still give good sound even in a coffee shop. I have yet to do anything very strenuous with them in, but they don’t seem like they will fall out. Set up was easy as well. The packaging has a QR code with easy to follow instructions.

You can listen to music while running and still be aware of what is around you, which is great for safety. They are light and small and come with a charging case. The battery life is ok. The earbuds will take a little time to get used to and to find your perfect fit. They come with various sized silicone tips pushed into your ear grooves to secure. I tried a few to find the right fit. The sound quality is great, even with the background noise. The controls are very convenient, but also very sensitive. The application is very easy to use. Overall, I really like these earbuds, as they allow you to hear background noise when you run or work.

Took me a while to configure them to my ears before I felt comfortable walking and especially running with them. They sound amazing but the battery life is not what I was expecting. Took me a bit to understand the tapping to answer calls and playback, but once I understood the mechanics truly are amazing. No issues connecting with my phone, computer or kindle. They are my new go to pair of headphones.

The most unique and yet strangely satisfying advancement has been made by Sony with their Linkbuds earbuds. Sony has developed earbuds that no longer require ear tips to be inserted into the ear canal. Their design incorporates a ring that sits comfortably in the outer ear, with a hole in the middle allowing you to remain connected to the ambient natural sounds around you. Sony Linkbuds with their open ear design are probably the most unique and most comfortable earbuds that I have tried. The open ear design completely removes the pressure and discomfort that you experience in your ear canal from wearing the buds for too long. You no longer have to insert anything into your ear to achieve great sound quality and noise cancellation. So, lets go over the features and PROS and CONS of the new Sony Linkbuds. What’s in the Box - These earbuds arrive in all recycled material case, with different size ARC supporters, charging cable, manuals, charging case and of course the earbuds. These earbuds are small and light weight. They measure 1.2 inches in Height, 1.9 in Width, and 1. In depth and weight .09 lbs. Quality – These earbuds are very well made. The magnets inside the case hold the ear buds in place even if you shake them up, so you don’t run the risk of losing them or have them fall out somewhere. The earbuds have about 5 hours of battery life and another 12 hours of charge on the charging case. With the quick charge feature, with 10 minutes of charge your will get another 90 minutes of playback. The earbuds are also IPX4 splash-proof and sweat-proof design. One thing I do miss is the wireless charging case, the case does not have wireless charging. Use – So, wearing these earbuds may seem and feel a bit weird at first but they are very comfortable for extended wear. I have used these for a full day and they worked out great, no pressure, ear canal did not get all hot and weird, just comfortable. You may have to try out the different size tips to make sure you get a good snug fit. Sound Quality – The sound quality of these earbuds is great, the music was crisp, clear, deep bass, just right on point. The app allows you to adjust the EQ setting if you need, and also with pre-set EQ setting, honestly, I did not feel the need to adjust or set my custom settings because everything sounded great. 360 Spatial Audio – With the Sony 360 Spatial Sound Personalizer you will enjoy personalized audio experience. The app analyzes your ear to provide the best audio experience that is perfect just for you. Wide Area Tap – Because of the unique design of these earbuds Sony introduced a new tap feature for these earbuds called the Wide Area Tap. With the wide area tap, you simply need to double tap near the ear buds to play or pause and three taps for the next song. I tested out the feature pretty extensively and it seems to work just fine. Noise Cancellation – Unfortunately, I looked everywhere in the setting and could not find the option for noise cancellation, so I believe these earbuds do not offer noise cancellation. PROS: Low Profile Design Comfortable Fit Ambient Sound Excellent sound quality Wide Area Tap feature New Ring Design CONS: NO Wireless charging for case No Noise Cancellation Overall, Sony has lived up to its reputation of providing an excellent product. The Sony Linkbuds look strange, sound great and are comfortable to wear. The app made the setup process simple and ensures that all you get is the best sound quality experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Definitely surprised me with quality. So many things I can say about these little buds. I'll start off with packaging, does come in a tiny form factor that is extremely easy to carry around and does not bulge in pocket being uncomfortable to your leg or in a bag barely taking up any space. Case holds charge for a couple days from my use of these and even can have buds last about 20 hours from how I use them almost nonstop. I'd say battery is perfect fo these. Comfortable as heck is what I would say, I always forget I even have one in my left ear if I use them separately and there is no cutting or redness in my ear like other earbuds do. There are no silicone tips so my ears also don't get hurt internally but that also leads to the main issue of the buds, no bass what so ever. These things have so many customizations in app and out that they are a blast to use with the side taps for functions to 3D sound being almost theater quality but even with some of the most crisp sounds and most detailed 3D audio there is still no bass from these designs. That is my only drawback from these is no bass. Yes I can hear my music and everything around me like I don't even have them in but for bassheads this is not the way to go. If you need earbuds that will let you hear your surroundings and even pause music when you speak and still have great quality sound besides bass then these are for you. I use them at work so I can hear everything around me and I never have to take them out. Also case can take a good drop so not too bad.
