Skype Became Part Of Our Live Broadcasts

What do you like best about the product?

Even in internet access-challenged locations, we had enough bandwidth to get good audio from Skype to use for live radio broadcasts. We tried other solutions but Skype outperformed others that required more bandwidth.

What do you dislike about the product?

Really no downside to Skype as it was easy to use, easy to connect with, and was clean and clear without sounding like a cell phone.

What do you like best about the product?

Being a pioneer of free calls and messaging it was really good tool for business and teams to use, With the integration to microsoft tools it became more powerful, And is a very powerful international tool for calls and messaging

What do you dislike about the product?

With its complexity in interface combined with security concern its became a complex app for new people or old persons

What do you like best about the product?

I like how it's user friendly. Almost all the functions you need are infront of you and aren't difficult to figure out and navigate. I also like the instant messaging feature that Skype has and the fact that you can pretty much use Skype on any device without an issue.

What do you dislike about the product?

It has limited integration tools unlike other similar platforms like Microsoft Teams. It's also not ideal for large scale companies. I also dislike the poor quality video calls.

What do you like best about the product?

The best part for me would be cross platform availability allowing my users to interact and connect with me seamlessly. The various integrations such as single sign on and onedrive helps me to access my files easily. Instant messaging allows me the ease of use as well as the frequency to interact with my users. Skype is a recognized platform which can be easily implemented and provides diverse customer support.

The free group calls are capped to a limited participants which provides hindrance to my organization.

My Honest Experience Using Skype

What do you like best about the product?

Simple & reliable – Easy for calls, messaging, and video chats. Works everywhere – Smooth on desktop, mobile, and web. Great call quality – Clear audio/video when the connection is good. Cheap international calls – Way cheaper than phone carriers. No-fuss screen sharing – Just works without lag or complexity. Bonus: It’s been around forever, so you can trust it for basic needs.

What do you dislike about the product?

Outdated Feel – The UI looks stuck in 2015, especially compared to sleeker apps like Zoom or Discord. Battery Drain – The mobile app hogs power, making long calls a charger-must. Spotty Call Quality – Sometimes audio cuts out or echos, even with good Wi-Fi. Clunky Notifications – Messages often arrive late or repeat unnecessarily. Limited Features – No breakout rooms, poor virtual backgrounds, and weak collaboration tools. Biggest Frustration? It’s just okay—good for basics but falls short if you need more.

What do you like best about the product?

I like best about Skype is how it made staying in touch super easy, way before Zoom and everything else got big. I remember using it to video call friends or family far away—it felt kind of magical back then. Plus, it was one of the first apps that really nailed voice and video in one place, which was pretty awesome for both casual chats and work stuff.

What do you dislike about the product?

I dislike about Skype is how clunky it got over time. It used to be smooth, but then updates made it slower and kind of bloated. Sometimes calls would drop or the connection would lag, even with good internet. And compared to newer apps, it just feels outdated now—like it's stuck in 2012 or something.
