Tried out LG's top of the line 77 inch model earlier but it was too dark for us - replaced with QN90B 2022 model and have no regrets - this TV is outstanding in daylight or dark room - combined it with Samsung soundbar, rear wired speakers (but wireless to the front of room/soundbar..) and subwoofer - we use it for streaming as well as gaming - it was so good that we just bought another QN90B 75 inch for my bedroom and it rocks! Highly recommend this TV to anyone looking to elevate their home entertainment to next level!

Haven't had a chance to play around with all the features yet but seem pretty straight forward and easy to find.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Defective TV for the amount of money spent I brought this 2 months ago and the wifi keeps disconnecting, and initially I thought it is my wifi router and it turned out the wifi module in the TV was defective after a service technician diagnosed the TV. Very poor quality for the amount of money you spend. I spent over 10 Hours on phone with Samsung service and they kept transferring me to different departments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AVOID AT ALL COST this is the worst tv ive ever owned. its a shame because the picture is fantastic, but thats about it. where do i start, the biggest issue i have is the tv not turning on! after it has been shut off for a few hours, the only way to get it back on is to unplug the power cord and plug it back in. ive tried every solution and this seems to be a known issue with the tv. samsung has tried to send a tech out twice now and they have not shown or called. software is extremely slow. i have between 500-700 mbps wifi, so i know thats not the issue. the one connect box is a good idea, but the cord that plugs into the tv is not rated to go inside a wall.. what!? this tv is a huge no for me! if add a photo of rhw picture but it wont turn on as i write this..

Large screen but thin enough and light weight enough that it could easily go down stairs for home theater in the basement. Colors and clarity are wonderful. Easy to unpack to put together. Although a large TV two people can easily tackle setup and placement. Easy setup with Samsung accessories like soundbar and sub which my family member did and they too now feel like they are at the theater.

This last version still suffers from it and it’s a disappointment. You would think for the price that their quality assurance would be better but it’s not. If this tv did not have the dirty screen patches all over I would give it a 5 star review for color, brightness, and amazing contrast. These patches are so large that’s it’s like watching tv with a dirty pair of glasses. Truly disappointing and hope their warranty and company takes responsibility and finds a solution.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Too expensive for the tiny image difference We replaced a sony 75 in tv (non qled or anything, just 4k) (2k value 4 years ago) with this 3k+ tv, and to be completely honest we didnt noticed a great quality improve. may be better contrast during the day if you leave the blinds open. We tested with 4k videos from streaming providers and also a local media center. Sound in another hand is GREAT, it sounds better and almost as the same bass as the sony soundbar with woofer that we had on previous tv. Thats why we decided not to use the sound bar and only the tv audio. Also, for a 3k+ tv, the processor and or software is pretty bad. Even that the tv just sleeps so does not need to boot up from scratch, even like that, when you turn on the tv from sleep will take between 1 and 2 minutes to start responding to the remote. For the price range would be nice they put some decent processor/ram on it. We always turn on the tv via alexa couple of minutes before we sit to watch a movie so it can load up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture, really bad menu I am very familiar with technology, I build my own PC's; I have literally ran a major electronics store for years, I understand technology very well, stay on top of a knowledge base for all tech, including TVs. Life long happy Samsung customer....with all that said, I have never had a menu on any electronic as confusing and poorly designed for easy user interface as this tv. The picture is brilliant, I can't complain about any part of physically using or watching the tv at all, except that the menu is so poor. It legitimately took me 10 minutes to figure out how to change the input/source, something that literally should have a physical button on the remote or be the first option that pops up on the menu when you access it, and yet you literally have to press the home button and scroll through multiple pages and then several more button pushes before you can even swap from one HDMI input to another. This is the least user-friendly menu and way to change inputs I've ever seen, and I actually know what I'm doing. I can't even imagine what it would be like for someone who's poor with technology trying to figure this out. I also have last year's model of this tv, and it is a completely different design and setup, which is idiotic. Why Samsung changed this or made it so difficult to access is beyond me, and why there isn't a button on the remote that changes it blows my mind. Wonderful picture, worth the money in every other way, but prepare for frustration

I did tons of research before purchasing and I do not regret going with this model. There’s tons of features and benefits it offers that I didn’t even know were available. We have all smart appliances and as we were watching tv upstairs a notification appeared on the screen saying your oven is now done preheating. My wife and I were shocked lol we thought it was cool. There’s tons of other smart features too. Well worth it.

And simply best picture yet in my Great room ! 4 k videos look like you can touch what’s showing . Very very happy so far and it’s been aprox 8 months. Good job Samsung!

It's brightness handles dark scenes extremely well. The nano zones handle bright/dark areas with very minimal blooming. It has most popular streaming services built-in so the need for external boxes (e.g. Roku, Apple) is minimized. The remote stays powered with solar/interior lights.

The family always love to watch on it. Sometimes we have to take turns to watch as the kids have abandoned the other TV set up for them. Our TV experience since the purchase of this TV has been beyond expectations. Sound quality is very impressive. Viewing from any angle still retains quality viewing experience. Easy access and connectivity to internet is seamless. Pairing with other devices is hassle free. Sleek and gorgeous built. Lots of room to connect other devices with usb, hdmi, ADAT etc. Amazing voice control features. Beautiful inbuilt screen display. Auto power off mode activated after a long time of inactivity. I love the fact that it has lots and lots of features and amazing TV apps. Easy navigation and pairing with other devices. It’s user friendly. After pairing with my door bell, I receive notification on one corner of the screen when someone rings the bell. It displays in a corner and it does not disturb. It makes it easy to see the person(s) at the door without searching for my other device or phone to check. It adds value and beauty to my home. Most guests do give positive compliments about my TV.

It replaced an older model Samsung 75" that was about 10 years old. That TV was not 4k, yet seems like the picture was as good, if not better at times. Even watching 4k programming on this newer TV doesn't seem like the upgrade it should be. Settings have been adjusted to match our liking, and to match the opinion of professional reviewers, but still leaves something to be desired. TV has great features and easy connectivity to streaming content. Relatively lightweight given it's size, mounting on full motion mount is easy and makes reaching inputs simple. Sound isn't great, at least in a larger room, so a sound bar is definitely important. Solar charging remote is a nice touch, should save on some battery changes over the years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Upgrade, Fine Details Just got this delivered today. Screen is perfect, and details are amazing. Previously had a 2017 Vizio E75-E1 and I am glad I switched. Firmware Update is already current so might as well connect the tv to the internet. Also, the mounting on the back of tv is higher than center, so it will sit lower on the wall. You should compensate for this and put wall mounts lower on tv so bring it higher up on wall if you don’t want a low hanging tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big, Bright and Beautiful - But............. I purchased the 85 inch version of the QN90B, and installed it a few days ago. The first time I powered it on and connected it to my WiFi, it immediately updated the firmware to the latest version. I have all my other devices connected to the TV (Cable Box, Blu-Ray player, and Computer), while my Receiver is connected to the TV's HDMI 3 port which supports eARC/ARC. I enjoy watching movies via my cable box, but instantly began noticing a fair amount of "Juddering" or "Stud-erring" when watching movies. This Samsung TV replaced my seven year old Vizio 60 inch TV which never had this issue. Additionally, none of my equipment - other than the TV - changed. I have played around with all the settings, and so far the juddering is still there. It is not as noticeable on live TV shows, but it still does happen, even after playing with all the settings. I would like Samsung to address this issue with me personally, to see if this is perhaps a defective TV, or a case where more refinement is needed such as a faster processor or a faster refresh rate or both. There are two other issues I should mention. First is the remote control which Samsung says is using Bluetooth connectivity. I think this is incorrect since the remote also affects my cable box - a Samsung unit, which I know is using IR. I also purchased a second non-Samsung remote for the TV, which worked straight out of the box. No Bluetooth connectivity needed. Even of more interest is the fact that parts of the cable box remote work on the TV. Lastly, and this is not a Samsung issue, but rather an issue with the current definition of eARC/ARC. As such it is an "all or nothing" standard. That is, powering on/off one device that supports eARC/ARC will also power on/off ALL your other devices. There is no "selective" option such as do not power on/off a given device when powering on/off something else. Just something to be aware of.

Those are great TVs but lack in brightness in a bright room. This tv will blow you away with its picture quality!!! It’s the closest to oled when it comes to black levels that I’ve seen out of an L.E.D Im a big movie guy and also game a lot ( ps5 and xbox one x) This tv impresses me every time I turn it on?? If your on the fence between this model and the lg 77 inch, for the money I think this is definitely more bang for the buck!!! Both are great TVs and I’ve enjoyed both but the size of this 85 inch combined with the picture quality and price this is the clear winner. If your putting it in a room with windows and lots of daylight it is by far the clear winner!!!

What we have really noticed beyond the color brilliance is the clarity of dark scenes. Night scenes do not become pixelated blobs. We purchased the matching sound system for a home theater experience. We get some unavoidable afternoon sun. The QLED picture is still clear and bright in that circumstance. We were worried about being overwhelmed by the size of the TV but it was the right decision!

The solar powered remote blows any other brand out of the water. An apps installed on the TV look great from Netflix, Hulu, Tubi. Just great even the TV display from the Samsung tv app is high quality feels like you are them in them moment like I can walk through the TV screen!

Fairly easy to set up as you can do so while using the Samsung smarthings app. Will 100 % recommend if you're looking for a big TV to fill up your living room.

Movies have never been so immersing, and the Fall sports are incredibly real like you are at the game or race! I had a 60" 4K TV which took a backseat to the primary bedroom. Beyond the obvious size difference, the picture quality is no comparison! We have a wide living room, and every angle is pure like sitting right in front. My only wish is that this model learned my receiver to control it. I briefly had a 75" Neo QLED (2021). It recognized the equipment and owned control of it quickly. This doesn't diminish this fine product in any way. Looking forward to many years of joy from this fine Samsung device! I see every reason to recommend this to my friends and customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tv aver I had a hard decision to make after owning an LG OLED for about 5 years it experienced image retention, and I didn't use it for gaming. Image retention comes from years of watch OTA channels that have some sort of static image at the bottom of the screen, maybe a station identifier, weather info, etc. I was going to replace with another OLED, but after doing some research i learned that LED doesn't experience image retention to the same degree as OLED, so I started looking some of the newer model LED sets. I have an older model Samsung in the bedroom, and it has performed well for me over the years. So I dropped by the local local TV retailer and compared the QN90B vs LG's C1. Both have outstanding picture qualities, despite all the reviews you see that LG is so much more superior, this is not entirely true. There are pros and cons to each, for example if you intend to watch mainly movies, the LG may be a better option. For me I watch about 50/50. OTA channels (IMO) have a far superior picture than OLED. The other very important consideration is where your TV is located. If it's in a bright room that get's a lot of daylight or quite frankly even some daylight, OLED is not a good choice. You can turn the brightness up all the way, and it just doesn't compare to Samsung. So for me, risk of image retention, amount of movies vs OTA channels watched, and room brightness, Samsung wins.

Pairs great with their matching soundbar. Really enjoying this television/soundbar combo! Only downside would be no Dolby Vision... Samsung needs to add Dolby Vision to compete with the other major brands in this space. Aside from that... no regrets with this purchase. Amazing TV!!

I chose this over an OLED because of the brighter picture and antiglare screen. It was the right choice. Zero issues with the TV. Setup was simple and following the prompts worked first time without issue. Both sports and movies look fantastic. No jitter or smearing or pixel issues. Shadow scenes look just as good as the OLED in my bedroom which has less windows.

I have akwats been a Samsung fan, but the Neo Quad series is another level. The price point is high for this model, but if you want movie style quality in your home, this is the television to splurge on. Now for DIY's, the larger televisions and base are heavy. Have installers put it together and mount in wall, or have someone else with you to assemble and place on a stand. Wouldn't recommend one person for 85-90" model set up.

The best brightness I ever seen on a smart TV. I can not comment on the sound because I used my own sound system. However, I am sure it's very good because the TV didn't miss anything. I only dislike the Ads and installing apps without a permission. Other than that I very happy with the TV.

If you need the tv in a bright room I recommend this over oled simply bc of the great quality you get and the brightness allowing you too see during the day. Oled is better but the downfall si the brightness which this fixes

I have to turn the volume to 30 to get a halfway decent sound. The remote is very lacking. I have to make sure there is line of sight for the remote to work. I 2 other samsung tvs which the remote works in any area of the room your in with the TV. I set one of my other remotes up to the new TV and it works just fine, so I know it's not the TV but it's the remote.
