Rated 5 out of 5 by from Jittery Picture i've had this 55" q90t for about a year that was calibrated by best buy. the problem is we watch a lot of older film broadcasts and they jitter and shudder. i've called tech support and best buy geek's who all said it's the processor and there is nothing that can be done. i have three other lower quality samsung tv's which don't have this problem. i am very disappointed with samsung performance now. i own many samsung products including tv's, home theater speakers & sounbars, dvd and blu-ray players, and cell phones. i'm rethinking my loyalty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Meh for a tv this price there should be few issues and way better warranty terms. the one we received has sluggish software, constant issues with apps freezing, issues where video plays but there's no sound, and when it syncs with the soundbar it prioritizes the sound effects over voices. when the tv turns on it auto loads the samsung movie page which isn't always playing family-friendly films. adjusting settings is a pain and the manual is useless. and it frequently makes a waterdrop notification frequently which at this point is infuriating. there's more to say but this gets the point across. won't be buying a tv again for several years but when we do it won't be samsung.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sound is Failing! i have had this tv for less than a year and the sound is around failing. sound randomly stops working. the first time i power cycled the tv and it eventually started working after doing it 5 times. the next time, it happened i power cycled it again, but it did nothing so i just turned it off and the sound magically started working the next morning. this last time, i followed all the troubleshooting steps on the website, but sound would still not work. i have schedule an appointment with a technician, but i don't know what that is going to do. you would think the sound on an almost $2000 tv would always work but i guess not. next tv i am getting is definitely going to be an lg oled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great picture poor sound Can not get Dolby sound to work Stock speakers are junk. Do not by Bluetooth speakers as the TV speakers are then disabled. Optical wire installed on my Vizo sound bar but no way to control treble or bass and will not turn on Dolby surround. After spending $500.00 on the MX-T70 tower it sounds just as bad as the TV speakers. Going to buy a new sound bar system and if that does not work will be sending this TV back

Our Netflix movies are now like going to the movies. The brightness of even the dark scenes is better. You can even see details in the dark scenes now. Best decision we have made for entertainment.

I love watching Netflix with this using the built in app. I fall asleep to watching YouTube on this tv it provides me beautiful sleep. I do believe I will buy another one for my living room when I get the chance. Television is poggers not gonna lie, I be watching a lot of stuff like pewdiepie and dream. They got the good stuff, like memes. Some people don't know what it's like to have a crisp clear 4K definition right in their face and I feel bad for them, I invite them over to enjoy the prestigious crisp quality that they usually do not get to enjoy. I feel as if I am doing them a service and they thank me by providing me with delicious meals. This television pretty much is paying for itself at that rate. Sometimes I load up some RuneScape via connecting my Samsung device wirelessly at a smooth crisp rate, it feels like there is no delay at all! I am in love with this TV, what can I say. It lets me train up to three of my RuneScape accounts at once, my pure.. my zerker.. and my Ironman! Yes, I'm an Ironman btw. Stats are as followed. 90 ranged and 81 magician. Had to look up at my Samsung TV to pull that information out. I'm going for a tanzonite fang, but zulrah is impossible to defeat. Thankfully the smooth crisp resolution of my SamSung television helps me see the attacks before they happen! I swear this thing looks into the future. I'm so happy.

I'm not a techie person and was reluctant to get this smart TV, because I was worried that I wouldn't know how & be able to use all of its features. I found that I love the clarity of the picture and all the features, which I'm still discovering. Setting up the Firestick was no problem. I only needed to plug the FS in a USB slot & follow the prompts. I no longer have to hook up my laptop to the TV to watch a BTS 4K concert & other shows, as well. The Smart View feature made it easy to connect my Samsung S20+ phone, wirelessly to the TV. The picture was stunning. Also, watching Netflix & YouTube is a breeze. There are so many apps available. My only issue I have found lately, is that I am getting notification sounds while watching any show. I haven't figured out how to stop it, but I am looking into it. In any case, I am really enjoying this TV.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Superb for photos and movies I have never seen my digital photos look as good as they do on my QLED Q90T. The clarity, vividness, and color rendition are excellent. They seem to be very similar to a projected 35-mm slide using a good projector and screen. Some 2K movies that are upscaled to 4K actually seem better than those in many local theaters. The only negative aspects that I've noticed so far are: 1) it will not provide audio to the built-in speakers at the same time as providing 5.1 audio to the optical interface, and 2) it does not even pass through DTS audio to the optical interface.

It has an easy to use remote and the main menu features intuitive controls and some preloaded apps. I found it easy to set up and it fit my current tv stand because it has a relatively compact base as opposed to a couple brackets spread out on each end. The picture looks great right out of the box. 4K content looks beautiful, just flawless. I've owned a Samsung tv before and it was a factor in choosing this tv. Great tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad motion and screen uniformity(DSE) the black levels are fantastic. and great bright hdr. but that's all. the motion is horrible. even with picture clarity on or off or set anywhere from 1 to 10. off=bad judder on= frame skipping and screen tearing and a lot of artifacts. screen uniformity is horrible. dirty looking screen. dse. and its real bad. samsung says its a processor problem with the motion..sent tech with wrong equipment. then a second one which never showed up. now supposed to get a replacement. but they say they are out of stock. so i'm waiting.. still. don't want a refund just a good working tv. this has been a horrible experience. been sticking with samsung for years. never have i been disappointed until now.

I also chose this model for the anti-reflection feature. I have a window behind me and another to the right, and there is very little reflection shown on the screen. The smart features are very easy to set up and use. No issues with Netflix, Prime, Disney+ or Spotify.

One of the things I love the most about this TV is that every morning it’ll play bird sounds or thunder sounds depending on the weather out side. The colors when you put it on dynamic mode is so vibrant it’s unbelievable sometimes. Playing video games on this TV is such a wonderful experience.

Simply Amazing This smartTV is full of featurees plus has hdmi 2.1 which is great for the xbox series X and PS5, its color depth is amazing though it is not OLED boy does this TV get close to black and the contrasts on the dark scenes look surreal plus since it isnt OLED the screen can get very bright without washing out the scene and ofcourse because it is not OLED there is no chance of burn in. The customizations and adjustments for the TV is quite simple and straightforward through the settings menu. There are many options to choose from and to adjust the colors and color depths at your hearts content, plus the controller for this TV is small and will work with all other devices, eliminating the need to go finding the control for your cable/satelite or your blu ray player.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Why Does It Ask for a Samsung Account? i purchased this tv for a relative who has limited tech ability or grasp of written english. when they tried to turn the tv on they were met with the "sign on to samsung account" setup page, my question, is why!? it was a huge hassle to try and remotely direct them to skip the setup, and your help pages don't even show the supposed "arrow in the upper right hand corner to skip". try doing remote tech support over the phone for someone who can barely operate a remote control, to do an action that you yourself are not sure is even there for them to do!

I purchased 4 TV's for all our rooms when we bought a new house. I had a Q6F TV in our living room in the destroyed house and wanted another good quality TV for our living room. I purchased the Q90t along with a 55 inch of a different brand for our bedroom. I also Purchased a 49 inch 4k tv for my son's bedroom. And a smaller 32 inch for our office. The picture on this Samsung TV is just miles above the other brands. This TV is so bright and vivid, its like a light is shining in your eyes when there is headlights showing on the screen. The other 4K tv while having a fairly decent picture, can't even come close to handling motion like this Samsung. I wish I could have afforded to purchase another one for our bedroom. I have always used Samsung phones and have never had an issue with them. After seeing the quality of this TV, we purchased a brand new Samsung Refrigerator and Microwave. Samsung quality cant be beat. When i save enough money I am going to purchase a Samsung soundbar to accent the awesome TV. Im a Samsung fan for life.

I'm completely blown away by the experience I've had with the Q90T, I knew I was due for an update from my 2015 model--and the bar has been risen. I've been a part of the Samsung family since 2007 when I was given my first TV in college that I still use today, and this purchase has further solidified that I am here to stay. The Q90T manages to portray a spectrum of colors and deep blacks that I never knew was possible from a TV, this caliber of quality is refreshing to have while spending most of my time at home. I've enjoyed watching many of my favorite movies with it, it's like seeing them for the first time--it brings renewed excitement with every scene. The sturdiness and longevity of a Samsung TV looks to be replicated here, my best purchase of thus far. MUST BUY for gamers and those enjoy watching the newest season of their favorite TV shows. I am gamer and this TV is perfect for it--with no fear of the picture degrading overtime, I can confidently enjoy gaming sessions to my hearts content. I'm looking forward to what Samsung has to offer in the future, as I know I'll be part of it. Thanks!!

Prior to this 55" Q90 TV I purchased 3 weeks ago, directly from Samsung Site, I had purchased a Q900 series and it ran extremely hot and it was in a well ventilated large cabinet with plenty of space. The screen started forming horizontal lines that could not be fixed by Samsung repair (came to house) other than replacing the entire screen which was on back order, so they offered me a refund which I accepted. They came and picked up TV which was nice. I am presently waiting for my refund to be sent to me. So I purchased this 55" Q90 and am very happy with picture and sound and would recommend it to anyone thinking of getting a 55" TV. Note: I would also purchase a small 5" fan to blow on the back of the TV that runs off one of the HDMI ports. The one I bought is from O2Cool. This keeps your TV cool to the touch and cuts on and off with the TV power when connected to a HDMI port.. I would especially recommend this fan with the Q900 series with the One Connect Box....if not it will run extremely hot and shorten the life of the electronics due to excessive heat. I love my Q90 55" with my little fan keeping it cool.

BUT.... there always something great picture, super fast processor, amazing colors. responsiveness and menu impressed me ! it's blazing fast. panel uniformity is decent, there is some dirty screen effect but it's not bad. picture in hdr is great however i noticed local dimming to be really exposed in hdr as it's set on standard. if i adjust local dimming to low in hdr picture is to dim. on very light scenes with some dark objects my screen brightness adjusts so aggressively that it hurts my eyes. what disappointed me really bad is samsung quality control. my first unit came with 6 large clusters of dead pixels. i returned it and received a new one. new tv has believe it or not 15 dead pixels, small barely visible but they are there. it's just annoying knowing that company this big allows something like this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful picture marred by manufacturing defects These panels have a bright picture, beautiful color, and great uniformity. However, they also have dust flecks under the screens. I've gone through three of them so far (and six Q80Ts), each either arriving with or quickly developing 1-3 dust flecks (I've seen a Q80T with 12+). These flecks obscure about 4-6 pixels each when viewed head on, making the pixels appear grey or black unless viewed off angle. It's fine if you sit 10' away, but if you use this as a monitor, you will see the defects. I think this is a manufacturing problem with Samsung, since it's affecting multiple panels and models. It's a shame since I want to love this TV; I'd pay hundreds more over the cost just to guarantee a panel without obvious defects that should've been caught before shipping. I've tried all the home remedies: pixel fixers, tapping, suction cups, banging, an electric toothbrush, pressing, etc.

The Q90T is feature rich with access to many internet streaming services like Netflix, Prime video, Hulu, youtube and others. But most importantly is the picture quality, it's just amazing especially when viewing 4K videos but even non-HD content picture quality is outstanding.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great TV for Gaming I selected this TV for my current gen and next gen console gaming experience. The Q90T is great option that offers up a bright 1,500-nit peak brightness. Of course, this TV can easily display inky blacks right next to those burning bright pixels. As for gaming-focused features, it has everything you need for the next generation consoles including 4K at 120Hz, FreeSync and G-Sync support, as well as a low latency game mode. Just keep in mind that it only has one HDMI 2.1 port, so make sure to reserve it for the Xbox Series X or PS5 you plan on buying later this year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From Q80T to Q90R - WOW! i'm comparing this tv to last years q80r. i didn't expect that much of a difference to be honest, but wow was i surprised. black levels are noticeably better and the brightness is also more detailed and punchier. you can definitely tell the difference with double the number of dimming zones in the 90t vs the 80r. i also love the new home screen/app layout. you can add more apps on the home screen now than before. gaming is amazing! no ghosting. it's about as smooth as my g-sync monitor and definitely feels more smooth than my 80r when gaming on xbox one x with vrr/freesync enabled. i paired this tv with the sonos arc + sub and wow is earc on this tv awesome. all in all, amazing tv. so glad i went with this over oled!

I cheated and watched a Samsung 900 series unboxing and setup on You Tube prior. The picture is amazing. I used the Samsung Access program to purchase and had it shipped directly from Samsung. Colors are vibrant and I like the anti-glare feature to this screen. I've added a firestick 4K to this tv but it comes loaded with lots of apps standard. I just wanted to be able to get Acorn TV also. So if you're thinking of making the plunge to Qled 4 or 8K, go for it. You won't be disappointed. Oh, did I mention no burn in. Yep, that's big for me.

They had me get a new soundbar and I still had the same issue. They finally thought it might be a software issue and elavated my issue to a higher level. I didn't hear back, and still haven't heard back. I took both back to Best Buy and bought a new LG OLED and soundbar. I have been a long time Samsung fan. My old TV was a Samsung I used for at least 12 years. My deck TV is a Samsung. Needless to say I was very unhappy with my experience this time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very expensive and not easy We spent almost $1800 and so far while he picture is superior, ease of use and device connectivity are MAJOR issues. Samsung support is a mixed bag. I was on the phone with my first tech for an hour and a half and it took him a long time to stop reading from a customer service script and really deal with my issues. And he needed to go off the line for quite some time on several occasions to get answers to technical questions: what shows up on my screen and what he expected were two different things so it was impossible to adjust the picture to get away from that "soap opera" effect that pervades everything and adjust the motion smoothing or auto motion plus or motion flow. That was just the first and what I hoped was a minor problem, however I did not have a tech that really knew the current firmware in my brand new tv!!! The major issue is with the HDMI connection to the sound bar which worked when I got off the phone but dropped connection regularly and I had to unplug the TV for 30 seconds at least eight times over the course of ten days and unplug and replug the HDMI cord from my sound bar to the ARC port 3 as well each time. The second time I called I was told that only Samsung Sound Bars are compatible with my TV which seems absurd when I had read about best sound bars on tech sites and settled on Polk as great quality for the price. So I am really unhappy with my experience and product.

After installing all the updates and some minor picture settings, the picture this thing outputs is nothing short of stunning. Originally I had ruled this TV out because of the inverse ghosting issue while running game consoles at 4K but discovered after more research that this issue was addressed in an update. This is a great medium price range TV with HDMI 2.1.

You can use presets or change any aspect of color, gamma, contrast, sharpness, tint, color offset, backround, white, shadow and so much more. You can make it appear like the wall or a picture when not actively viewing. The sound quality is very good. It's essy to connect with external devices such as my bluetooth earphones or laptop. Connecting to online music services through the q90 and earphones produces richer and wider range than through a cellphone. Overall this was an excellent purchase and works well with all my smart devices.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Q90T is a 5-Star Winner!! upgraded to this samsung tv after having an lg ks8000 since 2018. this tv certainly beats that one hands down! from the super brightness, clarity and color which pops, this is a definitely a winner!! even the sound from the built in speakers is great! no need for a separate soundbar. purchased this when it was on sale for $500 off of retail, it was a no brainer. i especially like the fact that it has a center stand as opposed to the feet being very wide apart!! i stopped purchasing samsung tv's in the past when they got rid of the center stands so i hope samsung continues this trend in the future. i am very happy with this tv and highly recommend it if you're shopping for one but do not want to get an oled due to screen burn in or an 8k which are very expensive right now.

I have to say that it's better than we hoped for! Ture black and true white across the entire screen! We had no trouble with installation and setup. Our existing BluRay home theater system was ARC-enabled, so it was as simple as plugging in 2 HDMI cables and off we went! The ability to finally have a true universal remote is absolute heaven! We plan to replace another unit in the house with a Q90T.

I wanted to upgrade to the 90T, and boy let me tell you this TV does not disappoint. Colors are phenomenal, screen and images really pop. I’ve tried other TVs in the past but as of my last four television purchases for all the rooms in my home they have all been Samsung. I will not purchase another brand of TV as long as the quality from Samsung remains this great. The unique stand and the frame surrounding The tv is high-end. The software smart tv menu is polished, quick and loaded with many apps and Samsung tv programming is a really nice touch. The remote control is probably the best I’ve seen ever. So quick and easy to use. Great Job Samsung you nailed it. Would I recommend this tv? In a heartbeat ! So happy with my purchase. Plenty of hdmi hook ups and hdmi E-Arc is a win. If you’re in the market for a Qled and not sure about oled. This is as close as it gets. Much brighter picture than oleds. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Purchase I've Made Besides The Note 20 Ultra. Just got the t.v. yesterday and so far it is just so much better than what I had in my bedroom. The 55inch was the best option for my room although I did need to upgrade for the new gaming systems that are coming out. The only flaw is the lack of more hdmi 2.1 ports. It only has 1 and I wish all the hdmi ports were 2.1. But other than that it is a top of the line t.v. Plus I have the Note 20 ultra and it goes along with the Q90T! Samsung is my choice when it comes to best electronics in my opinion but I assure you that I'm not the only one! All I need now is a samsung sound bar and I'll be set come November. But for now unfortunately that will have to wait until later on down the road. This was my big purchase for the year and if anyone else decides or is on the fence..I promise you that you can't go wrong with the Q90T or other products.

However when watching in standard definition, especially, grandson's cartoon channels, something just doesn't add up. In different places, like a cartoon character's face there will be lines that look like a window shutter than runs through the face. And it's not just cartoons that it affects. Any show not in HD will have this aggravating affect which irritates me to no end. Can anyone at Samsung tell me why this is happening. One more thing I would like to share, which could be taken by Samsung as good or bad, but in 2009 I purchased a Samsung UN46B8000XFXZA and the picture quality on it, and I still have it, is just as good as this 4K tv. Go figure.

I got delivery of this TV 5 days ago and I noticed on the 3rd day that there is this "Rainbow" glare from the screen that is VERY distracting when watching TV during the day. Not that noticeable if the scene is bright but you can see it if someone had dark hair and is very noticeable if the scene is dark. It is VERY frustrating because I really wanna love this TV but I can't. This HAS to be a defect because this TV is unwatchable during the day and it make no sense that Samsung would make a TV that can only be used in complete darkness. This TV has really been a pain through the ordering process and actually using it. Very disappointing.

I watched a movie yesterday and literally felt like I could reach out and touch the actors...I could see their pores so distinctly! I also love all of the customizations. But the biggest selling point is the support for next gen gaming. Game mode is amazing for low latency gameplay, even on current gen, and when the next gen consoles come out, this TV is one of the only ones fully equipped to fully showcase the power. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really wonderful product My boyfriend and I just moved in together, and both of us had smaller, older model Samsung tvs from the early 2010s so it was time for an upgrade.Originally we were going to get something from the Q60T or Q70T range but after going to check them out in person at our local big box store, decided that the difference in sound, picture quality, and features was noticeable enough for us to get the 55" from the Q90T range of products instead.It has really transformed the way we watch and game. The viewing angle is wide which is great for a long, narrow row home layout. The picture quality is beautiful no matter what is on, and I really enjoy ambient mode and can't wait until we get a frame an wall mount for it.Overall I think it was absolutely worth the money, can't wait to show it off to friends once it's safe to do so.

We have tried others but the picture is simply too dark in our bright rooms. I had minor issues with the material that was adhered to the screen for shipping causing minor blemishes when removed. Those since have become very minor possibly due to the TV warming up causing them to diminish. I am not much on “Customizing” picture settings and such. For this reason I appreciate the automatic picture adjustment that is built into this TV.

In terms of color, it is great, the colors are rich and bright which brings everything to life. The picture clarity is very sharp and I am more than satisfied with the clarity. This screen makes you feel that you are in the room or on the field with the actors/athletes. I now notice things that I never noticed in the past. All in all we couldn’t be more satisfied with our purchase. You can spend more but I wonder if it would be worth the money .....unless you have a theatre sized room. Stay well!

It was easy to unpack and we had it in my old wall mounts in no time. The connections were clear and I had it powered up in no time. The picture is crystal clear as I had hoped and the “smart” features work with ease. My only problem (not a Samsung issue) is getting my Xbox, and home theatre connected through the receiver. I tryst that will soon also be accomplished. So I recommend this TV - beautiful picture and many great features to make you happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exceptional Color, but crushed blacks I got this TV not too long ago in preparation for next gen consoles, and Im mostly happy with the color brightness ect. but no matter how I configure the picture settings with or without following the guide low end blacks get crushed costing detail. For example nice suit jackets sometimes have no collars or definition, and look like pitch black jumpsuits. Updated to latest firmware last night (1113 to 1115.5) and it didn't help. As it is right now as a gamer I wish I went with the OLED sadly.

They are both great TVs but I feel the upgrades are noticeable. Having something to take full advantage of the tv specs, this tv is outstanding. Great picture, great blacks, great contrast. I do feel the Samsung interface can be sluggish at times and it doesn’t always recognize third party additions (ex. Apple TV). I would recommend this tv and look forward to future updates to rectify some of these issues.

I am already happy I went with the qled to avoid burn in because we have a lot of static images - internet radio and whenever we pause streaming services. My concern was the dirty screen effect due to gray uniformity. This was the biggest criticism many video testing experts complained about. I can not tell at all. I also didn't have the tv calibrated but I think the picture is excellent with some minor changes to the picture settings (I easily found these online). The picture is outstanding and it can get bright which is good for our room with lots of windows. We don't have many video games, but the games I have played are very responsive. The biggest complaint I have is the rainbow effect because of the anti-reflector on the screen. Overhead lights and lamps create a rainbow band across the screen when they reflect. The tv gets bright so it's not very noticeable during the day and on bright scenes but when it gets dark, it is very noticeable and distracting.

The screen is very sensitive to pressure from touch, so one must be very careful not to grab the unit holding the screen in any way. Other than that, this tv has amazing features and resolution!!!

I bought this a gaming tv for the PS5, but I have been using it for my PS4 and it has made everything look so much better already. Would easily recommend this to anyone.

I'm happy with it well I have to be for the price lol.

I love the color accuracy, love the super deep blacks that only a QLED can produce. Wish I would've gotten the larger size. I am definitely a Samsung TV buyer from now on. This thing is AWESOME!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issues with Dimming & Horrible Motion sadly, movie and filmmaker mode which give you the most accurate colors don't work well. they get very dim in dark scenes. you have to set local dimming to high or turn on contrast enhancer. but that comes with its own flaws. subtitles at higher qualities give you dimming effects. so when subtitles are on screen, the whole screen gets brighter and goes back to normal when they disappear. so what's the solution you may ask? set the picture mode to standard at both normal and hdr. that leaves me with the last huge issue with this tv. i still can't watch good football or soccer on this tv. the motion handling is horrible to say the least. i set picture clarity setting to off, custom, and auto but none of them worked. the motion handling needs to improve!

In addition to great picture quality and myriad picture customization options, the Q90T is a beautifully engineered TV. Where it stands out from other TV’s is the motion engine and ability to keep up with sports motion which was the deciding factor for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No Gap Mount Does Not Exist I purcahsed at Best Buy and set up installation. I contacted Samsung via chat and asked for model number for no gap mount. I purchased Q90T 85". I was told to order WMN-R30EB by Samsung support person. Best Buy could not get by installation date, so I ordered from B&H photo and paid for FedEx to get it here by time. Well, Best Buy came today and Wow, I got the 2020 model! Guess what? You cannot use the no gap mount on the 2020 model. So, I contacted support and was told if I want a 85 inch, get a2019 Q90R which is only about 10,000 dollars more than the one I bought. So, anyone know how I can get a 2019 Q90T so I can use my mount? I purchased this TV because it was the EXACT width of my electronic fireplace and it supported flush mount. Now I am out FedEx money and have a TV I need to return and a mount I cannot use that I need to return, more shipping money, and Samsung chat people that cannot explain why was I told this would work. Anyone got the 2019 model laying around? They say that will work with the no gap I have. BTW, picture is beautiful, however not that it is sitting on a coffee table, not nogapped to the wall.
