Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subwoofer Disconnects the sound quality is great when the subwoofer doesn't disconnect. i have updated the firmware and it still continues to do it. i have the subwoofer within 3 feet of the soundbar and it still disconnects occasionally. i attempted to connect using the fiber optic cable to see if that would fix it but now the audio is too low.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A number of issues 1. conectivity to a samsung 55-inch class crystal uhd tu-8000 series - 4k uhd hdr smart tv (un55tu8000fxza has been inconsistent and very frustrating. i have had to unplug/plug into power source in an attempt to reconnect bluetooth with samsung tv. i have reset the samsung tv back to factory settings. it still fails connect from time to time. there are no devices near by to cause interference. 2. every once in awhile, the tv stops playing through the soundbar and instead sounds like a warning alarm going off at high volume level. if i wasn’t nearby to shut down i wonder if it would do permanent damage to soundbar and sub woofer. you would think that relatively newer samsung products would intergrate very well with each other.

My phone and TV were both connected via bluetooth until I could get the optical cable attached. Good sound thru BT, but much better thru optical. Sound isn't supposed to be like a 7.2 high end system. It's a small unit with great sound for the price and size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent price-Sound quality hw-t450 2.1ch soundbar w/dolby audio (2020) has a very impressive sound considering its price. i've owned this soundbar for over a year and have had no problems other than subwoofer rattling when it reaches a certain volume. however, the bass is amazing and it can really fill up a room. i've used this for entertainment, and people were shocked because of how immersive the sound was despite the size of the soundbar. overall the soundbar was quite easy to setup.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Sound for Small Family Room i bought this soundbar from best buy for my 55 inch samsung tv in the family room, and the sound is about what i expected. the setup was fast and easy, and all my remotes synced without issue. i currently use my xfinity remote to operate my tv, and i notice a slight delay in the volume button response, but that is the only issue i've noticed so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple Setup with Great Bass the system was easy to set up and is great for a small to medium size room. the first thing i noticed is that the bass is very punchy for a sub $200 sound bar. the sound quality of the sound bar is good not great. i wished mids and highs could be more pronounced but with eq settings on my smart tv i was able adjust the sound bar to my liking. i would recommend this soundbar to those who are on a budget or would like to step up there home theater system

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! i love this soundbar! i bought one for my girlfriend and i for christmas, and we love it for our smaller living rooms! i did have an issue connecting to bluetooth at first, but it worked using the troubleshooting information provided in the manual. also, i found that it is better connecting optical cables straight to a gaming console if you watch movies, shows, youtube, or play games mainly on a console.. because the soundbar likes to be connected to the exact source of which the sound is coming from :) otherwise, you might have to turn it way up to 50 or higher to get the volume you are looking for!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price, 2 small issues to start the subwoofer paired automatically and effortless. the sound is so much better than the speakers on my tv. the one issue i had were the digital optical cable that came with the bar would not slot in on 1 end. luckily i had a cable. the other issue is everytime i turn the soundbar on, it defaults to bluetooth and i have to switch it it digital audio for my tv.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Interferes with WiFi this product interferes with the wifi at my desk. when it's on my connection speed goes from about 350 mbps to about 100 mbps. when i turn off the sound bar the connection speed goes back up again. i moved my router about ten feet away from the sound bar, but that only improved the issue slightly. unfortunately the sound bar does not provide a way to connect via cable and it does not allow me to select a channel that doesn't interfere with wifi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Suprise! i'm happy with this sound bar. i wanted to purchase a sound bar, but it was important to me to actually hear what it sounded like. it sounds great in my small (16 x 12) living room, with bamboo floors. i realized after hearing it in store, that i wanted a separate subwoofer. i listen to a lot of music and wanted a fuller sound. i'm satisfied. it was much better than the reviews. only one complaint, i couldn't connect to the tv via bluetooth. however, it's likely user error. i'm suing the optical connection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from buyer's beware DOESN'T CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH this device has connection issues. it would not connect to any device in my home. i called samsung and they suggest sending the sound bar back to them for repair. i sent the device twice with the same issue both times. samsung sent the sound bar back stating there is no issues with the device. samsung even suggested sending the soundbar a third time. when i went on the samsung website i found that i was not the only customer with this problem. do not buy this device!! samsung will not refund you your money and you will be stuck with a sound bar that doesn't connect to bluetooth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From day one the subwoofer said it was connected (blue light continuously on) however no air movement or bass has ever come out of it. i have attempted to reconnect it manually with the ID SET and it indicates I am connected but still does not work. Quite frustrated with the system as the bass was the main reason for purchasing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Frustrating connectivity don't buy this soundbar! i ignored all other reviews, not just from samsung's site, that warned how bad connection is to whatever device you're using it on. i purchased a samsung q7 tv along with this soundbar and ever day i have to reset both in order to connect it to the tv again. samsung experts have already helped me but still an ongoing issue that just doesn't go away. will be returning this to the retailer. i will say though that when it does connect the sounds is crisp and woofer is strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor sound disappointed! we purchased this soundbar for our new samsung smart tv to have better sound quality, but when soundbaris on, we can barely hear voices at volume 54. then the volume can suddenly increase! the sound is better from the tv speakers! i’ve researched on the internet and have tried multiple settings to fix this problem, but we finally turned off this soundbar and no longer use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing soundbar for the most part from all the other reviews i see that most people talk badly about this soundbar, but they all must lack one thing. common knowledge of tech! when i experienced a sound lag issue i went to the audio sync setting and adjusted it to perfectly synced. i then figured out that when you want to pair to bluetooth devices you have to use the remote not the soundbar itself. other than that the soundbar has clear, crisp audio and is great for its price with a rich bass that can raddle your house or when you need it to, be quiet. with common knloledge of tech and a few google searches its no problem setting this up (i didn’t have instructions) over all this sound bar delivers rich, crisp audio and is not that hard to use if you just do a little research and it is great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bluetooth wouldn't stay connected to my iPhone XS I ordered this online from Best Buy week ago and it finally arrived! I thought, GREAT, I can now get rid of my home theatre wires! Not so fast, though. When I cnnected my iPhone Xs Max via bluetooth, it would only stay connected for a minute or two, then disconnect. I tried a dozen times to get it to stay connected, and even downloaded the update I found on Samsung's website, that came out two months after this unit was built. Alas, it had no effect. So, I called Samsung customer service. They had be due a couple troubleshooting steps with no positive result. They then suggested another bluetooth device was interfering. Not so, as I don't have any other devices running. Finally they told me to return it to Best Buy, which I did. Just out of curiosity I exchanged it for the same model. Guess what? SAME RESULT!! So, after I get done writing this, I am returning it and buying another brand altogether!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Never Ever buy this product i bought one at best buy. remote did not work. could not get the unit to display on my samsung tv which has terrible sound. could not get tv remote to pair with soundbar. samsung help would not send a remote. returned to best buy. ordered another one. remote had to be inchee from soundbar to work, then soundbar stopped connecting to woofer. never displayed on tv. waiting on 24/7 samsung to txt me. looks like i will tetuen this one to best buy and buy from another manufactuer. neither time an agent from samsung talked to me on the phone. this is a terrible product, run from it!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DON'T BUY 1st they only give you 15 days return, (best buy gives 30) . the 23rd day i had this it stopped connecting to my saumang 65" tv, over the next 3 weeks i had to trouble shoot and upgrade the firmware 2 times in the 1st 2 weeks, they have a chat history that i had to contact them several times. i couldnt exchange it so i sent in for repair, they couldnt find anything wrong and sent back with asking me any questions. i plugged it in and it worked, turned tv off for 2 hours, turned it back on and the dam thing didn't work. my option is to unplug this thing for 60 seconds whenever i want it to work.. junk

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quirks no doubt i thought this would integrate with the samsung 7 series tv effortlessly. unfortunately, there's been several quirks you have to deal with before you understand how to resolve: updating the software on the soundbar (and tv), wireless connection usually works upon startup to tv but you may have to unplug the soundbar...then restart tv/soundbar if not, switching to netflix app requires click of "source" button on soundbar remote before it will maintain sound, etc. little quirks could cause frustrations for the average non-technical person.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from decent speaker i have never been able to get the optical cable to work on this speaker. i would like to just turn on the speaker and the tv and both just work in harmony but instead i have to go and click the bluetooth button on my tv and wait for the speaker to connect.. yea i know it doesn't sound like much but after a while it is undesirable and a hassle. i've tried every permutation i believe between pcr/bitstream, changing out hdmi inputs, messing with the audio settings on my shield, nothing. the soundbar certainly works with bluetooth and there is a visible red light which tells me the cable is fine, i just can't figure out what the deal is with the optical input.

Zero value for money the sound bar has extremely low volume when watching netflix or any dolby digital content. and switching the sound mode to pcm didn't help either. terrible dialogue clarity, mediocre subwoofer performance despite adjusting the bass to +6 and raising subwoofer volume to max. watching movies or tv on this soundbar is extremely disappointing. however listining to music was somehow decent. terrible terrible product. my unbranded tower speakers with 6 inch subwoofer outperformed this by a million miles and for less than half the price ! thus this product is not worth even 20 usd. i will return this immediately.
