I use it for health and fitness information to give me real-time information regarding how many steps, time of exercise, and calories burned. It also allows you to set reminders each hour to remain active. This is important to me because I work in front of a computer all day and need those reminders to tell me when I need to stretch and get up from my desk. It also great when I'm away from my phone because it allows me to still be able to answer calls and check messages on several different applications. It's also comfortable to wear. I typically don't wear watches; however, this watch is always worn by me because it is so useful. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys the luxury of having a smartwatch that's comfortable and easy to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Samsung Watch 6 I am really enjoying the watch 6. I upgraded from the watch 4 and the 6 is definitely faster. The screen is also better as in it's easier to see without being a bigger size. The battery on the 6 also lasts a lot longer than the one that was on the 4. I don't have to charge it as much as I did the old one. Overall I am very pleased with the watch 6 and glad I upgraded.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No custom ringtones, still great product While I'm disappointed about the fact that I can't use my music as a ringtone, I genuinely love my watch 6. I can pay for stuff at work with it if my phone dies, the screen has less bezel, making the usable area bigger than previous models which makes it easier to use for me. I love how I can control my music from it, meaning it's easy to use my buds2 pro without reaching for my phone. There are a few connection problems which have caused me to reset my watch and Samsung pay keeps crashing despite me never using it. I do find it easier to sideload apps compared to the struggle I had with the watch4 and watch5. My only complaint is that I can't have my custom ringtones on all of my samsung devices.

For years I've always had a "smartwatch", first with the Pebble, then most recently with the Fitbit Sense, but up until now I never realized how much those watches weren't that "smart". This Galaxy Watch6 is incredible! I see now that my previous watches were basically activity trackers/notification readers with very basic (most of the time buggy) ways to respond to texts. The Watch6 (as I'm sure previous versions) is about as close as you can get to having a phone on your wrist. Productivity and communication wise, the watch can do just about everything that your phone can. I don't think I'll ever go back to a non-wearOS smartwatch and frankly, just like I prefer the Galaxy phones, I don't see myself ever veering away from the Galaxy watches either.

Sometimes the screen will randomly go black and not respond to button presses for a few seconds, but that's a rare bug. Overall a great watch, just hoping samsung fixes the software issues

I'm a Disabled American Veteran and for the last few years I've been tired lethargic and not wanting to do anything with friends. The Veterans Hospital couldn't figure out what was wrong after many tests. I bought my Samsung Watch and setup all the health features and sleep monitoring and after about a week I looked at all the data and was blown away and terrified. At night my Samsung watch detected that my Oxygen level was dropping into the 70% range which is stroke area. I showed my doctor the data from my Samsung watch and she just couldn't believe the numbers so she setup a sleep study and the hospital confirmed the data my watch provided and the diagnosed me with extreme central sleep apnea. If not for my Samsung Watch my doctors would have never diagnosed and treated my maladies. Thank you Samsung and you have a loyal customer for life! Michael

To be honest, I have a dressy Michael Kor's smart watch, and I love it ! But, can't get it wet. So, I looking for something "sporty-er". I am partial to Samsung & have/had many Samsung products. I have been comparing specific features, functions. & price (lot's of sales & special offerings). I decided on the new watch6. And ordered accessories, of course. options for different watch bands & even a watch-face cover that fits over the glass & clips on similar to a phone case. Unfortunately, once it is on, there seems to be no way to remove it. (It came with no instructions, just a picture/similar to basic line drawing. That shows how to place it & push on so that sides fit around buttons. And, nothing about removal. Have tried many times, no luck. The only good thing is that it is protecting the glass as well as entire watch ... no scratches, no fingerprints, etc. Guess I will never be able to remove ... Overall, it's only a few weeks & I am still learning how to use, functions, etc. Now that I have some time-off, I am watching video's (no instructions, short cuts, etc.) Only quick steps on how to charge & start set-up. Which by the way, is the easiest part. That most would not need instructions for.

There's alot of features and faces to pick from, as well as a cool custom face maker. I also like the widgets for heart monitor, stress, calories burned, steps, and most of all the body composition. I like using the Watch face that shows all the features at once including the weather. Furthermore, charging it is easy and fast, about 1 hour from dead to fully charged in my case. Would recommend, on days I don't have my Watch my wrist feels so empty because how useful it is on a day to day basis.

The rotating bezel is back and I couldn't be happier. Changing hands is simple and easy Performs tracking and healthy reminders keep me motivated, and the body composition app is a very eye opening. Small feedback would be to bring back support for games that used to use the bezel. Battery life is very good can last a a few days could always be better but I'm happy with charging every 4 days or so.

Love the watch I use it everyday to work, I usually always have it on powersave and it last a few days which is awesome and does what it says. Whenever I go for a run it automatically detects my running activity without me having to input it. It's really accurate as well when I wear it to sleep, it automatically detects at what time I fell asleep and woke up.

Can sometimes be convenient to show brief messages on your hand rather than pulling out your phone. I wish the watch faces had more control over what I displayed and how they can be viewed on the actual watch. Overall I guess it is what I expected. I got on a good deal I don't think I would have bought it otherwise. Kind of a cool toy to play around with.

I love all of the features especially monitoring my sleep, and other great health benefit features. Most of my apps are on my watch and I can make and receive calls from my watch without having to pull out my phone! Loving it!!!

I like the dial face with the date and day of the week on it to keep me in tune with the world since I am retired now. 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. I also keep track of my walks and steps for the day. Works better than my Galaxy 4 watch. I gave it a 4 star since everything can be improved.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stylish, useful, beautiful screen I really like the Watch 6 - feels like it is just the right "goldilocks" size after having used 2nd hand Watch 4's - the 42 was too small for me, the 44 was too large. The Watch 6 43 screen is just perfect! I also used an apple watch se. This has a much nicer screen, better quality glass and is more comfortable (for me). I also like the classic round shape - personal preference for sure, but it looks like a watch - and you don't feel like a dork wearing out to a nice dinner, etc. The other thing I like about it is the health tracking - and that it isn't locked behind a paywall like fitbit and others (my spouse has a fitbit and is unsure about what they'll lose once the free premium trial runs out). Auto detect workouts seems to work better than the apple watch. Notifications / apps are what you expect. My use cases are: check the calendar, see notifications, know when I get a text/call (so I can keep my phone on vibrate), and occasionally reply to a text / whatsapp / other message. Just having the passive notifications on my wrist is life changing and far more useful than I would have ever thought.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it, minus a few flaws I got the watch initially to help track steps and working out (timers and track how long) it works well but there are some annoyances. Just to knock a star off. So whether I have it as no touch or the button, inevitably it will pause a workout at least once while I'm in the middle of it, so I find myself checking to be sure it's still tracking. I had a problem for a week where the screen would not show. No matter what I would do it wasn't working. It also did not show the time while working out during this week. I tried everything and it wouldn't work. It is now so I don't what the issue was. (I had checked for updates, always on display, anything and everything. Weird) Also the heart rate will sometimes just not go up. I'll have to adjust the watch higher or lower or take it off to put it on a good spot. Didn't happen at all until recently with the last two times I was exercising. Other than those few things, I do like the watch. It's my first one. It's comfortable and sleek looking. It does help me track my exercises during the week. Counts my steps. Overall a good purchase for the price I paid and what I use it for.

It never seems to work right and I have to overtighten the strap to even attempt to get it to work. The watch itself and all the other features work great.

I initially bought the 44 mm, but it turned out to be too big for my small wrist. I returned it for a 40mm and this one is perfect. You won't regret making this purchase.

I started with the watch3 then the watch4 but the Watch6 is definitely the best one yet. I use the watch to monitor my steps, heart rate, ecg, stress, sleep habit, and food. The battery life has been great so far. My favorite is being able to customize the watch face. There are so many options available that just work perfectly with all the functions of the watch. Samsung just gets it right!!!!

Knowing that when im scrolling thru my galaxy watch 6 and i dont have any lag spike or flickering pages on the screen thats loading is a major improvement. The calling function and speaker/mic quality is almost as good as my phone watch makes me want to always listen to music on the watch. The fact that i can just go onto the watch and look at the map with precise directions and i dont have to have my phone to distract me is a blessing in disguise, and being able to send voice messages with only a swipe and 2 taps is so much more convenient. The music function has no delay other than having a good signal for connection, but i even have a calculator on my quick menu option and no one would believe how many times i ended up using it in everyday life with my family at restaurants haha. It probably made my life much easier as a gamer to have my phone on vibrate all the time and never pick up calls accidentally, and then having a simple vibe on my wrist and being able to speak clearly on it while being able to play at the same time without need to let go of my controllers or having to pause the games is a major life change. Im glad to have bought this watch and improve my life so much.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Watch It is a good watch for everyday use. It does that it's supposed to. Since I am in the samsung ecosystem it is useful. I like how it is lightweight and comfy. However, I would say that the battery drains pretty quickly. I don't think the health monitors are that accurate. Specifically, the stress and heart rate. Also I think they over calculate the steps as well. Overall, I would recommend this watch for everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great screen and battery life I've had the Gear S2, Watch, Watch3, Watch5, and now the Watch6. While the Watch6 doesn't look that much different from the Watch5, it is noticeably thinner on the wrist. Also, the larger screen with thinner bezel makes it much more viewable and the screen more viewable. Another significant difference that I have noticed is the much-I proved battery life. Even with always-on-display enabled and HR semi-continuous, I am getting more than 48 hours between charges! With the previous model, I was only getting about 36 hours. Overall, the Watch6 improves on several key areas. I only wish they made a silver version of the 41mm BT model.

Huge change from watch 4. Bottom line: you get much longer battery life, better interaction with apps, more accurate tracking.

I chose the gold watch and etoupe hybrid leather D strap, they look great together! It does seem I need to charge the battery daily which seems a bit annoying. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek and modern I love my new watch! It was such an upgrade from my galaxy watch 3. I prefer no bezel because it give you a larger screen and a more sleek design. Sleep tracking has been extremely accurate and insightful. I got it in gold and it's definitely more silvery. It does have a hint of gold in certain light but I personally like it that it's more a silver color. I also love how thin the watch is. It's not bulky and the 40mm fits perfectly for my really small wrist. It's durable and I know I'll be able to utilize it for a really long time!

I love the new features and actions through Samsung Health I'm now allowed to access. Texting on this watch is much easier than on my older model so I actually use the function now. I bought bands for my old watch and they fit on this watch as well, so I was very happy about that!

I got the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 as it is the most current model. I love it! User friendly, easy to read face. It isn't bulky. That's important to me for my line of work (medical field). The battery is great for me. I'm a charge every night person, so no issues for me. I actually like the sport band that it comes with. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase!

You can use it for contactless payments with samsung pay or google pay. With Bixby or google assistance you can do even more with your watch. Besides tracking your heart rate, stress level, diet, and steps, you can even track your sleep and blood oxygen level. You can also do a ECG and blood pressure* (pending for review by FDA for US residents).

My bare minimum expectations of this watch was for it to show my notifications and calls, but this watch does that and more. I can make purchases using my wallet app in my watch without using my phone. I can set a timer when I'm having a quick power nap, or I'm taking a quick break at work. I can send a quick text message, even answer a call directly from the watch while using its built in speakers. After buying this watch there were so many things to discover and 2 months in, I'm still learning new things. I love this watch and I can't see what else Samsung has to share with its customers.

I would have to say that the only downfall I have encountered is the difficulty I have using the keyboard on the watch face to send a text. The new watch feels like a proper / normal (mechanical) watch and gets compliments frequently. The software is solid and battery life is better than I expected, especially after tinkering with power settings. I've had this watch for a month as of posting this review and would happily update this post with notes, good and bad, in the future.

I was so impressed with his purchase that after wearing a fitbit sense for over 3 years I traded up to a Galaxy 6, 44 mm. This watch does everything the Fitbit did & looks so much better doing it. Having a CDL & being able to talk on my phone through my bluetooth headset without ever having to touch my phone is a must with these new company regulations put into place by these insurance companies. This watch not only looks good, but it also serves a very functional purpose.

I never understood the need for a smart watch but after a couple of months with it, I feel naked without it. It creates a much needed distance between your phone and you. Love how customizable the watch is and how you could add a little bit of your personality to it. As far as design, the screen size and weight is great. The band that comes with it is a bit uncomfortable. I replaced it with the workout band which is a much better one. It is one of the most accurate step counting smart watches out there. There is also many excersise that can be added. It's a great addition to a fit an healthy lifestyle. My only critic is that I wish the fitness app was a bit smoother and easier to navigate and add exercises. As well as the samsung fitness app. I would recommend on adding or improving a workout planner.

I wasn't sure at first if I could get used to wearing a watch all the time, but the Galaxy Watch 6 is so comfortable, the only time I ever take it off is to charge it! I love the sleep tracking, and while I'm at work I use the messaging app to stay in touch with my wife and daughter. I love tracking my steps, and even have a bit of a step competition going with a couple of my buddies thanks to the "Together" feature in the watch app. One of my favorite features is the media controls that are on the watch. I have earbuds in all day at work listening to music and podcasts, so having the controls on my wrist at all times is so convenient! I love my Galaxy Watch 6 so much that I've talked my entire family into getting their own! It's a total must have, and part of my every day carry!

I like that it is the same size as the Watch4 that I had before; but it is more comfortable to wear due to a slight tweaking to the case and the band. Right now it is adjusting to my lifestyle, so the battery life could be better. I have the heartbeat tracker set to every ten minutes, so that may be taking extra juice. The sleep monitoring is the most improved. The graphics are extensive and very informative. The sensitivity is much better, too. It now tracks my naps, too. Before I had to sleep more than two hours to register. I would have given my watch6 five stars, except for the battery; I am getting about one and a half days per charge. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.

It's preferable to taking out your phone or credit card to pay. It also connects the HRM via BT to the exercise room Peloton. I can initiate a Strava workout or walk in seconds and it will post to Strava as soon as I stop the activity. I measured my resting HR without having to wear a chest strap. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the watch.

I was hoping the battery life to be better but it's even worse than the Watch 5. I don't know why they don't program the Watch to go into a deeper sleep when it's not worn so that battery life gets better for intermittent users

I started out with the Samsung 5 watch, which helped me lose 60 lbs as I used it to track calories burned while walking and running. I upgraded to Samsung 6 and learned more about the heart rate and ECG features. Those helped detect occasional AFib, a heart condition that can lead to a stroke or heart attack. That led me to a Cardiologist. I even did an ECG on my watch at doctor's office while they did an EKG. Both showed AFib. My symptoms were mild and I may not have known to go see the doctor if it hadn't been for my watch alerting me to an irregular heartrate. Life changing! Thank you!

I am very happy to be able to record an EKG and send it to my physician when I have issues with my heart. I also love the many features the watch offers, such as making and receiving phone calls, timer abilities, alarms, the ability to choose my individual watch face and color. Then you throw in the ability to monitor active minutes and number of steps, which allows me to follow health recommendations as well. The ease of use is nice for my generation. I don't need to have my phone with me all the time throughout the day because of the functions on my watch. I like the size, I like that I have been able to set the watch to analog style instead of digital since I think analog is a lost art. I also use the compass quite often too. Frankly, what is there not to love about this watch? NOTHING!

Even though, it may not be 100% accurate, you can also get a ball park measure of your body fat percentage. Great to track your workouts as well as. As a runner it's nice to be see your VO2 max, running technique analysis, cadence etc. Would definitely recommend.

The easiest way I can describe it is that it just works all the time every time without any slow down hiccups or glitches. Connectivity is great battery life is very serviceable and I don't experience any of the hiccups or slow downs I did with other generations or versions. The health sensors and functionality are accurate and help to give you stats and awareness to make adjustments when needed. Charging is rather quick and that can typically go two full days without needing to recharge again. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smartwatch.

I primarily got it to help keep track of my health... i honestly bought it for the blood pressure option but after purchasing found out that was not available after all.i do keep track of everything else available which is great!!! I know you are not supposed to rely on it but it just tells me if I'm about thr same as usual ...I love it for exercise...I love the bigger face I got the 44mm this time and it is great! I love the face I show in the picture...I wish you would give more of the 3 color combos..I use that one pretty much all the time. Something with pink and something with red and green. I can not say enough good about this watch..the speaker is great the phone part works great to chat with people. They no longer say ARE YOU ON YOUR PHONE..because it's so nice and clear... love the apps.screen color is great! There way to much to list why I love it to be honest...if it had blood pressure it would be PERFECT! would love to see a long rectangle shape verse the round..that would be nice .. love it thanks!

As I am able to see very important messages especially if I left my phone somewhere else and I am in another room or building. It also allows me to answer calls when I'm nowhere near my phone. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everything you need in a watch This is my 2nd galaxy watch. I came from the watch 4. I love the look and am pleased with getting the larger dial. It works as expected. Battery life is decent and lasts about 2 days. I have all notifications on and only use Bluetooth (turned off wifi and nfc). The biggest reason I am all for a smart watch is for the sleep tracking, which works great in the Samsung ecosystem. I also use the watch for my workouts like walking, running, and elliptical. It doesn't automatically track my strength workouts but does automatically track the others I mentioned above.

The transition from the old watch to the new one was seamless. I love the new band attachment and the yellow color. I use my watch when I work out and other health features. I track my sleep and steps daily. I also keep my blood pressure readings up to date. I have the BT model and love that I can get texts and calls when my watch is in the other room. I also keep the weather app one swipe away. I love these watches! I just got my husband the Galaxy5 Pro Golf Edition and so far he loves his too.

Also I cannot download the app for my bank Navy Federal and lastly I have high blood pressure and thee is no app I can download to measure it either. The camera controller is difficult to use, one hand to set up the phone and then the other hand to snap the shot remotely through the watch, burdensome at most. Otherwise the watch works as it should. I miss my downloaded ringtones as I had on watch 3

I got a deal to upgrade my Samsung galaxy 8 to a Google pixel 7 pro. Now a lot of the valuable health monitoring features do not work since Samsung is following Apples closed system model. Now I have an expensive semi smart watch.

It happened not once or twice, but multiples times during my workouts the watch stopped recording the heart rate, so I have to restart it while I was in my cycling class. Otherwise, the battery is better than all my previous models and last all day long even with hard use.

The display is a lot bigger with a thinner bezel and the battery will easily last for 2 days, even with my Always On Display turned on. I participate in the Samsung steps challenge every month and keep track of my daily steps. It's way easier to keep track of steps using the watch with just a quick glance. I use bopth Bixby as well as the Google Assistant on the watch, depending on the scenario and for all basic functions like timers etc, I find Bixby very reliable.

This was it. I can track my daily activity and use almost all the features of my phone from this watch. It accurately records with GPS my runs outside or workouts at home. I can take a call or send a text easily without having to find my phone. And the insights into my sleep habits have been great! It's durable and the battery lasts longer than I expected.

It's exceeded my expectations and become a trusted accessory. Pros: -Battery life is excellent for me. It charges really fast...about 15% ever 10 min you do the math. -WIFI connectivity. Work distraction strikes again! Phone left behind at work, but my watch became my lifeline. I was sending messages, keeping tabs on battery health all while using my home WIFI to orchestrate a phone retrieval mission from my trusty coworker - all thanks to my amazing watch. -NFC Payment -Makes email a breeze. I get simple things done faster, without the phone/laptop back-and-forth. Cons: I didn't purchase it sooner.

I can customize it, from so many great faces, to have the functional watch face, that I want. And, with it being the 44mm watch, it's very easy to read. I've found it's always consistent with my actual heart rate. Other watches I've had, could never stay consistent. It took a bit to learn to set up, and use, but, once I did, I really began to enjoy it. And, it's easy to get all of my exercise info on the Fit app. I like to keep track, and, record my activities in my Silver Sneakers app. It's just an all-around great watch.

I regularly use it for looking at the steps, time and salaat times from one of the widget. Sleep score is really interesting, have not figured out why my score is very poor, but that makes me focus more on sleep. Love the stress detection and BMI measurements. Overall except while in shower, i pretty much wear the watch6 all the time.

I love putting my personal photos on my watch and watching them change. I love that I can choose the watch face style and I chose the color of the watch band (blue). I use my watch to track my walking steps, monitor my heart rate, monitor how much exercise I get, run an ECG for my heart, even listen to messages and music and above all just keep track of the time.

I recently upgraded from the Galaxy Watch 5, and I can't say that it is a huge upgrade, but it is a bit snappier. The interaction is smoother. Haven't encountered any noticeable glitches yet. I had one instance where the battery almost completely drained overnight, but it hasn't happened since. I would definitely recommend this watch. I will continue to upgrade as new version are released.

The Samsung watch is a sleek and beautiful watch but thus far I have been sadly disappointed with the battery life on the watch when compared to my two other non Sansung smart watches. The battery barely lasts a full day. How can I track health and sleep data when the battery is always needing a charge? Certainly won't get any consistency in tracking since my life doesn't revolve around mu watch charging. My other two watches last several days even with using workout tracking at the gym and after having them for multiple years! It is a lovely sleek looking watch but truly with a smart watch using the functionality is primary and the battery life has been a big disappointment. Note I pulled off the charger to take the photo for the review where I left it this AM because the battery was or course almost dead!

I use the phone for phone, social media, pictures, the watch is nice for a "snooze" button when I remember to wear it. I do enjoy the sleep tracker but I question the accuracy of such things.

So I like the fact it automatically tracks my activities. I set a goal on steps per day and the watch let's me know how I am doing again the goal. When you set a reminder or alarm the watch vibrates to help manage my time. I get messages and phone calls so you can see who is contacting me while my phone is somewhere else

It beats going into your pocket for your phone and a great media controller... I use a 3rd party watch face app which works great... My only CONS with this is I wish it had a longer BT range for when my phones charging and I happen to walk away from my phone, Battery life could definitely be better.... Otherwise this watch is pretty solid.

I found if you use this for the fitness aspect it works wonderful. The tracking is very close to being accurate. It has been through multiple half marathons and one marathon thus far. The only downside is the "gold" color is absolutely not gold. It's silver. Returned multiple times to find out that was "gold".

I like having a digital watch to track health activities, see notifications, check the weather, use the timer or flashlight etc. There's not much of a difference with my previous version watch 4 except a shorter battery life and I have to charge it daily instead of every 2-3 days. Seems there's more stuff to drain it's charge.

I love the fitness tra king and having notifications right on my watch without fumbling around for the phone. If you are on the fence a out this thing, do yourself a favor and go ahead. You will not regret it. Battery life seems great with a few days of everyday use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Watch - but . . . This upgraded version 6 watch is loaded with features but some of them are distracting in everyday use and waste a lot of battery life. The previous version of the watch I used could go more than 2 days on a charge and was not sensitive to outside stimuli. This version has called 9-1-1 numerous times when I was working or a couple of times when I was simply sitting and talking to someone. I was finally able to fully disable the function, which would have been nice to have, but too unreliable. I have not been able to go more than about 20 - 21 hours without having to charge the battery. Quite distracting and time-wasting. As soon as the holidays are over I am going to try to find a used version of the Watch 3 or 4 and return to long battery life.

This however is not a deal breaker for me because I own multiple Galaxy watches and can quickly switch them out for recharge without losing any tracked data. That being said, my watch 6 has the shortest battery life of the three I currently own. This shortcoming, especially for owners who only have one watch requires the user to make unwanted choices such as which data can I do without during this charging downtime. Again, great watch overall, just wish the battery life was at least a week instead of 24-48hrs. Regards, Billy

Health and Fitness Tracker, E-mail Checks, Text Checks, Timer, Phone Answering, Alarm, Calendar and more. Having previously worn and really liked my Galaxy Active 2, I'm even more impressed with the Samsung 6 and for an older guy who is a bit tech challenged, the learning curve on this watch was pretty easy. I even impressed (really impressed) my tech savvy son, who got me the Active 2 as a gift awhile back with how easily I navigated through the all features on this device, and I keep learning more from the tips that show up periodically on how to get the most out of the product. I opted for the 40mm as I always felt the 44mm face on the Active 2 was a bit clunky for me and I'm glad I did. The smaller size looks more like a watch than a computer on my wrist and I don't knock it up against stuff like I did with the 2. The battery life is good. I get close to 2 days since I started using Bedtime Mode recently and am happy with that. One more thing ... I was able to trade in my Active 2 on this watch and got an amazing deal. I would have purchased it anyway but it was a great incentive. This is a great watch. You won't be disappointed if you purchase one.

I have to charge this one every day and sometimes, it dies before the end of my 12 hour shift. I need one to be with me the entire shift. I have had other watches that can keep up with me, but I thought I would stay brand consistent. I'm thinking about returning this and getting a different one.

It did not detect. three weeks ago fell hard on asphalt requiring urgent care visit for wound that did not close for ten days. did not detect. sat watching tv and it asked me if I fell. Was watching ballet and it asked if I fell . I didn't get to it soon enough and it alerted the police and my friends. It kept alerting my friends for hours and I tried to reset it. unfortunately, fell hard on asphalt again and it did not detect it and I ended up in urgent care again. I called Samsung and reset it totally. We tried to test it, I threw it several times with impact on my kitchen floor and it did not detect anything.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool Watch! I did not think I'd ever needed a smart watch until I have my Samsung Watch6. Why did I not get this watch sooner, that is the question I ask myself often. I had the choice of getting the BT or the LTE, and I opted for the BT because I will always have my Samsung Galaxy phone with me anyway so there is no reason for paying extra monthly fee for LTE data, in my opinion. I've been pleased with the performance of my Watch6. The watch itself is so stylish! I have the 40mm, and it's a perfect size for my small wrist. The watch and all its features are easy to use and navigate. I love that there are many varieties of faces we can use and change to our hearts' desire. I especially love the built-in sleep tracking app! I work the graveyard shifts and my sleep pattern is very irregular, so it's nice to be able to track it daily. My only complaint is that I wish the battery last longer. I feel like I always have to charge it every day (I usually charge it while I take a shower), but maybe it's because I have many apps running at the same time. It's not a big deal, though. I don't wear my watch to shower anyway, so it's a perfect time to give it a charge. All in all, I think Samsung Watch6 is a great watch. As a person who (almost) cannot live without her smart phone, adding a Samsung smart watch has been one of the smartest decisions I have made for myself. I love it!

I've answered my phone calls and texts, the calls are clear and have been able to hear and be heard easily. Texts and emails are also easy to check and respond to. Watch faces are fun to change up, all are clear and in beautiful color. I've also done an ECG and set my watch to alert if it picks up anything concerning.

Light weight and perfectly fits my wrist while still being able to cleary veiw everything I need. I mainly use the watch at work because we aren't supposed to have our phones on the floor and this keeps me up to date with my information and messages. Something I am surprised I would use is the Sleep monitoring. I have been using it and find it very informative and helpful. I also like the health monitoring. It has been a great little addition to my everyday life and my Samsung eco system.

I love being able to just tap a quick button and call dispatch without having to pull out my phone or even have my phone on me. I enjoy the ease of being able to check messages quickly and change songs on my Spotify. It's nice that there's a security setup where my work information is kept private unless I have it on and put in the pin. This is my first smart watch and it was completely worth the investment.

I use it for excersie and daily activities. Its's really helpful to have the steps and HR on the main screen with the time. Being a nurse, its also very helpful that the digital watch has seconds as well as hours and minutes. I like the photo face on the watch, but I wish it did not limit you to 20 photos. I wish it could just randomly pick from an albumn you set up in the gallery or from your phone gallery. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase, upgrade and features of the S6 Watch.

I had a Watch 4 before this one, and unfortunately had a scratch after only a month of use. This watch has been put through the wringer. It's been smacked against brick walls, with metal bars, even dropped in gravel. Every single time I see a scratch, it wipes away. This watch is still as pristine as the day I bought it, and I haven't used a screen protector.

The oxygen feature helped alert me to an issue I had at night with my asthma after I discussed the monthly results with my doctor. Aside from the health features, I love the fact that I can leave my phone and not miss calls or texts. I can check my calendar, send a text, pick up a phone call, listen to music or any of the seemingly endless possibilities when you combine the app features and the faces. It is beautifully customizable. I use it to check the temperature every morning and don't even have to touch it thanks to Bixby. I truly would not function without it.

Change unfortunately makes me very uneasy, but due to some recent health issues and reading about the new and updated features of the Watch 6 compared to my Active 2 it was a change that was worth the couple days of uneasiness. Luckily, it was all completely worth it and was not disappointed in any way with the newest model.

The processing system is a lot faster of course. I use it mostly for messaging and as a remote to skip through music. Finding my phone is my favorite feature though. I can't even tell you how many times I've set my phone down somewhere and couldn't find it. My Galaxy watch 6 comes to the rescue and locates it for me. Only down side with that though, is if your linked to your homes stereo system through Bluetooth it sends the page blasting through both your phone and the speakers on your home system. I miss the rotating bezel was my only other complaint. Other then that I love it.

Keeping me active so I'm not sitting too long, traking my workout it helps me be mindful of the stress I have throughout the day. Allowing me to monitor my health while looking sleek and stylish. Not to mention the connectivity I get with my Galaxy S. As well as the ability to personalize it to myself. This is a great upgrade from my Watch 4 classic, great buy and thanks to Samsung for always making a great device.

I made the transition to Samsung everything about 6ish months ago, after a few years of another brand. So I did get pretty comfortable with other devices. However, after I purchased the S22, my old watch was no longer compatible with my phone, so I did trade in for the new Galaxy Watch 6. While I did make an error during ordering (I originally thought I was going to be getting the watch with the bevel), this model has met and partially exceeded my expectations in a smart watch.

I have used my Samsung Active 2 for years but finally decided the time was here for an upgrade and traded it in on the new Watch 6. I LOVE it! The screen size is just slightly bigger and definitely flatter but the adorable completely customizable wallpapers are so fun and the functionality is great! It continuously tracks my stress level. It did come with a new charger but you need the piece that plugs into the wall. I am so glad I upgraded!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little watch & then some I use this as an extension of my phone as it is designed. It never fails you walk away from your phone & it rings.... Now it is so much easier to keep it with me and get things done because my hands are free. It suits my lifestyle. From opening my smart door locks to calls to texts on the go. The biggest down side to the watch is there are not enough companion apps for the watch to make it so it is a must have. Right now it is nice to have. I was really hoping there would be compatible apps to open my wifi garage door, awning and electric roller shades. And I was hoping my blue tooth audio devices would sink up with the watch. They don't. At this point to use my blue tooth headset I still need my phone within range. Bummer. The watch can play music without the phone close, but because it is so small, so are the speakers in it. If it had these additional features I would make it a must have. The fall alerts and collision alerts do not always work reliably. Do NOT give up a 1st Call for Help button and rely on the watch. The tech is close but not there yet. All in all, it is a very nice watch and I still am not giving mine up.. Once you go watch you will not go back.

The design is slick and smart and the circular flat top gave a new look. The belt material is also very comfortable. Even when I sweat, I doesn't produce a foul smell and is easy on skin. If I talk about it's features and usage, I mostly needed a smart watch to track my health like walk,exercise and other health parameters and It does a great job in that. It starts tracking my walk as soon as I start walking. The sensors are pretty strong and smart. Overall,my experience with this watch is great and would definitely recommend others to go for it.

My samsung device watch is great to use on the go or even when I'm at work, when I feel a bit overwhelmed or anxious I check my breathing and heart rate. I also love to keep track of how many steps I did in the day as well to remind me to trying to stay active. I've never owned a smart watch but I'm very happy I own one, it makes listening to music on the go or answering a call or text easier if my phone is stuffed away in my bag. It's water resistant as well so when I wash my hands I don't worry too much of damaging the product if it gets faintly a splash of water. I'm always on the go so I love this new smasung product that tells me what I need to know very closely when on the go.

The battery life is great and lasts almost 2 days, plus it charges very fast which is a huge plus. The sleep tracker is great and tracks every aspect of your sleep, including snoring and body temp. The step tracker is great and catches every step and impromptu exercise. It reminds me to get active and when I get up from my desk it gives me a little high five. The hardware is sturdy enough that it still looks shiny and new, even when up against my 1 year old staffy.

I used to have the smartwatch 4 and it is a huge improvement in terms of software, battery and overall smoothness!!! The only thing that I see as a flaw is the design of the watch band. Because of the design with the button at the bottom. Every time I do some sports or physical activities it detaches and falls of. If I am being honest I wish this wouldn't happen because it has fallen a couple of times. Other than that the watch has been a great addition to my daily activity. I would definitely recommend it to other people.

I have a Google pixel phone so I cannot use the ECG function at all which is a HUGE bummer. I cannot download the app that is needed to use the ecg unfortunately because it's not compatible with my phone. Other than that, the other functions are amazing. Messaging on the watch is very simple. The battery life is fantastic! I can easily get 2-3 days of use without always on display on. I use my watch often to check the time, media controls for my music, and checking notifications. I love the sleep tracking functions.

I also use my watch to make and answer calls and messages. I love that this watch has afib detection, health tracking, flashlight, always on display, voice typing, calculator, Google assistant, Samsung music, Samsung browser, call and message apps, Google maps, and media control. I like these features because I can listen to music on the go, make a quick web search, make and respond to text messages and calls quickly from my watch, multiply and divide quickly, control the media on my phone, ask Google assistant questions and control my home, type quickly and accurately, look at the time quickly, I can check how my body is doing and how much sleep I got, see in the dark without having to find a flashlight, and can use maps from my watch. I overall love this watch for many reasons from it's durable body to many great software features.

To my surprise the battery life was so extended due to unknown reasons and I was able to charge it every 4 days with most features on. It made me use less of my phone which was my primary purpose of getting the watch.

I've gotten a new Samsung brand watch at least every two years, usually every year. If you've had Samsung before, and enjoyed it, you'll like this watch too. Battery is improved and lasts about as long as my watch active 2 did, but it now has constant health monitoring. I'm not super tech savvy so only two complaints. One is that it seems the tech has peaked. I don't think it's worth getting a new watch every year, or even every two years, anymore. This isn't an issue for most watch buyers. Second is that the health monitoring still seems to be behind compared to an Apple Watch. My partner uses Apple products and for the past four years I've found their measurements closer to what I get for doctors visits. The EKG on my watch is also more likely to have me restart a reading.

I love how far the Watch series has come since the S3. Might not be too much, but I can see and improvement over time. I love the feel of the watch band, it's buttery soft. I hope I can get more in different colors soon. My one "complaint" might be battery life, but it pretty much is exactly what it says. Around 30-40 hours. The plus side is that the charger is SUPER fast and the watch charges to 100% in less than 30 minutes. I love the activity tracker, it's one of the main features I use. And the find my phone app... lifesaver.

The watch band and watch bottom needs a redesign. It doesn't fit on my wrist as it should. The band is uncomfortable and doesn't stay tight. Due to this some health scan functions can not be read. Other than that this watch is amazing.

Am able to make calls if my phone happens to be in the other room. For the price, especially if taking advantage of the trade-in program is very reasonable for all the features. Now for the reason I deducted a star. I keep hoping with each new watch that the battery life will be better, but that is just being optimistic. Why can the packed with features watches in other brands last for days and days, but Samsung has to be charged EVERY. SINGLE. DAY! It is super frustrating! Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new watch The watch is comfortable and I love tge fact that it's always accurate. I am used to a mechanical watch and even the best brands such as rolex are only accurate to a few seconds per day. That may seem great but after a few months l, your watch might b3 off by 5 to 15 minutes and you need to adjust it. Same with dates - you need to adjust for months that are shorter than 31 days. Lots of great apps - portable ekg, fitness nudging, check email and call people on your watch like Dick Tracy. I do wish it wouldn't need charging every night. Otherwise great switch from mechanical to smart-watch.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't start my day without it I use my watch to count steps - I need to stay active for health reasons. It also notifies me to get up when sitting too long. Love that feature - you can also just avoid it, when u need to avoid it. The second reason I like my watch is because I have set it up to receive important notifications so I don't miss important messages from work etc when I am out and about. A single look at the watch tells me I need to get back to my PC - or just ignore knowing everything is cool and I don't need to check my PC for important messages or emails.

I enjoy the features, just wish that some applications can have more functions, and it would be more compatible with other applications. But cant complain, great watch so far, but hard to find decent accessories, watch bands, watch covers etc.

Not only does it take the time but it can provide with health measurements such at heart BPM and even track your sleep. It was so good infact i actully bought a second one for my wife. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Functionality but limited based on OS I was looking to upgrade my smart fitness tracker and figured it was time to get one that connects to my phone for music, phone calls, messages, internet in general. The issue that was not clearly advertised is that older phones do not have a recent enough Android OS to connect. I had an older Samsung phone which does not connect to this watch as the OS is not compatible. Very frustrating. Otherwise, the watch works fine. It is missing some types of apps that I would like to have on the watch (i.e., tap to pay functionality is limited to only Pay and not Wallet). I like I can keep the screen off as it keeps the battery long enough to last 2 days. Charging is a little slower than I would like, but I try to charge it overnight. The size is decent - a little bigger than I was looking for, but I haven't bumped it into anything yet. It connects to my upgraded phone fine and the call quality through the phone is clear. Getting repeat notifications can be frustrating (I think I got notified about the weather 6 times in a day before I turned off notifications for the app). The corresponding apps on the phone are fine - basic functionality is met. Overall a decent watch, definitely better priced than some other models, but has some issues as well.

I love the sleep score feature which was not the best in my previous watch. Overall a great and affordable watch with bunch of features.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loaded with features Lots of incredible features like a body fat percentage calculator built right into the watch! I also love how beautiful it is. The circular display really makes this feel like a real timepiece, especially when paired with the right band. However, it is pretty slow in comparison to my apple watch. It drops frames and stutters just doing basic tasks which can be a little annoying. Still, great watch overall :)

I like this product as this gives me correct calories I am loosing as well as steps I do everyday. It helps me to keep my fitness in check. I am giving one less start as I am not happy with the battery life. I have to charge this watch every 2 days. I had Galaxy watch 3 classic before, which I used to charge every 3 days. Otherwise I would recommend to buy this product.

This watch is perfect for people with big hands because it's not difficult to touch the apps on screen like before. Battery life could be a tad better....but overall I would highly recommend it.

Daily steps reminders to get up and move after about an hour of sitting. Additional features that are used frequently are alarms, timer, stop watch, text, answering calls, checking weather and calendar appointments. Really like my Watch6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Samsung Watch I've owned Works exactly how you want it to work. I switched to apple last year and loved how well the apple watch worked with the iPhone. It was better than the way Samsung worked. Switching back to Samsung recently, I am please that Samsung has figured out how to do watches! No complaints at all. Great battery life, 2 days before I am hitting low battery mode. I sleep with it on, shower and swim with it on, I only take it off for the 30-45 minutes it takes to charge it every other day. The sleep monitor is better than any other device. I used it to prove to the VA that I don't sleep very well. Very happy with it.

Yes, it tracks steps and fitness, but it also keeps you in contact with email and IMs. It will even remind you of those important meetings! Its a great tool to have for someone who is away from the laptop thoughtout the day. Allows me to be mobile, but always connected and don't have to worry about carrying my cellphone.

I noticed the watch was on sale & I could get more off on a trade-in. I LOVE the new watch. The battery works better, it looks better, and it does so much more than my old one. It was money well spent!

I got my watch on the the 17th of February 2024 writing this about a week after I got (the 26th) and I absolutely love it. It looks and feels amazing. The software runs okay sometimes there might me slow down or freeze the makes me restart the watch but other then that I love it with all my heart ??.

I upgraded this time from a Watch 4 to the 6 and the battery life, screen, and responsiveness is a great improvement. I only take off my Watch to shower and ger enought charge (due to fast charging) during this time that I never have to be concerned about it dying. Awesome upgrade!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the new model I have had both the original Galaxy Gear and then upgraded to the original Galaxy watch before upgrading to the 6 this past winter. The upgrade has been phenomenal! The biggest difference is definitely utilizing Google's Wear OS instead of the Tizen OS previous watches used. This allows for a greater range of apps to download and more support. Watch faces are great. Battery life is decent for how many notifications pop on my watch. I would recommend the Watch 6 Classic over the Watch 6 BT as I sorely miss the rotating bezel. Other than that I am super happy with my watch!

My favorite features are the camera controller and the amulet to use multiple pictures as my watch face. Every time I look down I get to see a different memory.

Not only does it tell me the time, monitors my health and updates me on goals that have been reached but it is also convenient when you are on the go. I love the auto work out detection feature and all the different workouts to choose from. The body composition feature is also neat and seems to be pretty accurate. The watch also does well for tracking your sleep, I used that feature for a while and highly recommend it, especially with the new sleep coaching feature.
