Only con is there isn't a smaller option for the Pro. I have small wrists. It's not too bad, but would've liked the option for something a little smaller in the Pro version.

Was hesitant about wearOS especially after Google's first venture into wearOS. But I was worried about nothing. Notifications are better. Better integration with 3rd party apps. Screen is supper smooth. Magnetic band works great. You won't be disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this watch! I got this watch less than a month ago, and I am really loving it so far. I was previously using the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier smartwatch, and this is a big upgrade. The battery life is really great. I only have to charge it every couple days instead of every single day. The watch performance is much snappier and the speaker is better too. I love the switch from Stainless Steel to Titanium, as it makes it feel like a more premium product. I also love the titanium magnetic d buckle sport band it came with. The magnet is strong enough that I have yet to have it unlatch accidentally, but it is easy to take off when I want to. The only things that I'm not a big fan of is the removal of the rotating bezel (really useful when wearing gloves), the change to an iPhone MagSafe style charging cable instead of a cradle, and the difficulty in switching from Samsung Pay to Google Pay on the watch. Google Pay does indeed work, but you can't change the button shortcut for payments from Samsung to Google. Overall, I'm really impressed with this smartwatch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a premium smartwatch for their Android phone.

Very easy to operate the multiple apps and works great in the gym. Very accurate on long bike rides and I get 3 days and 18 hours between charges. Best fitness and health tracking watch I have ever used.

I do miss the rotating bezzle from the 4 classic, however the battery life makes up for everything. I get about 2 to 2 1/2 days on one charge maybe longer. It comes packed with a lot of features and I'm very happy that I upgraded after contemplating for few months. I feel like I am able to know more effectively track my sleep and other health goals especially since the battery last longer. I also enjoy clear calls from the watch so i can continue doing other things. Another awesome product from Samsung!

Can't wirelessly charge on my duo charger because band never sits flat. Also the extreme magnets in the band gather metal dust like crazy. Can easily get 2 days use with aod and overall I'm happy with device for price I paid, would not buy at retail.

I also use it with the lifesum app which is great because if auto syncs. It is also very user friendly in my opinion.

I use the Watch 4 as my everyday smartwatch and the Watch 5 is my dress-up Watch for going out to eat, etc. The Watch 5 looks very smart. Battery life is excellent, and Samsung finally has a good Sport scores app that I can now get up to date scores without having to use my phone!! Great Job Samsung!!¡

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not a fan of the new UI Not a fan of the new Google software. Much of the functionality of the old galaxy watches was lost. No bezel, no screen off function poor band connection, cheaper feel. Had I known I really wouldn't have bought it. The main problem is that most of the apps are gone and Google has even fewer for their watch OS. If there were some gain in functionality I could see the trade off being justified, but there just isn't. Not sure why Samsung decided to go this direction but I'm definitely not brand loyal anymore.

This is my first wearable and I am thoroughly pleased and happy with it. I have it set to measure my heart rate every 10 min and it's nice to see the chart at the end of the day. The battery life is really good! It lasts at least 2 days sometimes even 3. I love the size and it is quite comfortable. The customization on this watch is really nice. I like that it has a Saphire crystal and the case is titanium. It looks and feels like a premium product. Overall a great product and would recommend to anyone looking to get a good quality wearable.

I find that it vibrates and beats and weird hours of the night and wakes me up all the time. I'm sure that's just a setting that I've got wrong but it sucks that the primary purchase reason was to track sleep and I'm afraid to wear it now because my sleep schedule has been disrupted. I also don't like that when the phone rings it displays that call info on the display even after the call terminates. The only way to clear it is to hit a button. Again, I'm sure we'll be fixed with an update but for almost $500, this thing should be a little easier to use out of the box.

This has enabled me to keep better track of my sleep and overall health with the available apps. I only wish there was an option of a smaller watch-face than the 45mm for the Pro since I have a small wrist, and unfortunately it doesn't seem to recognize automatically if I start performing an activity. I have to be sure to start the tracker before.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing watch I traded in my Galaxy 4 for the new Galaxy 5 pro. Samsung had an amazing buyback program which made the Galaxy 5 pro even more affordable. Some of the biggest differences between the four and the five that I've noticed is the extended battery life the five pro has. More than double the battery life of my watch 4. Another great feature is it's connectivity to GPS. My watch4 always seem to struggle connecting to GPS whereas the watch5 pro connects almost immediately when I'm tracking my workouts. Besides the upgraded materials that give it a much more professional look, It's also much lighter, has a much better fit and a much better band. All in all, a great smartwatch with a lot of great features and an amazing battery life

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big Improvement in Several Areas This is my 3rd Samsung watch. My first was a Gear S3, second was a Watch 3 and now a Watch5 Pro. I can honestly say that the watch has gotten better with each iteration. I was initially worried about this purchase as it contained the removal of the front face dial that served as a functional slider essentially, but I now feel that my worry wasn't warranted. I believe if the watch was equal or less responsive than the Watch 3 then the removal of the dial would be an issue, but I am proud to say that the Watch5 Pro is much more responsive, especially when receiving a notification. I used the dial mostly to initiate the viewing of notifications that delayed in displaying. Notifications are much faster to load and the viewing of those notifications are much easier for someone with aging eyes (I am far sighted and do wear medium strength reading glasses). I think most of the software benefits has come from the move from Tizen to Wear OS. One thing that stands out to me is the texting capability on the watch itself. It was about impossible on my older Watch 3 but on the Watch5 Pro it has the swipe texting which works very well so it is a huge step forward in this area. The battery is another big improvement although I will say the Samsung line of watches have always had much better battery life than other watches, but with the Watch5 Pro the battery life is not in days a required everyday charge. Obviously if you use the always on display you will have a couple of days life vs not using always on display will allow double that (depending on notifications and workouts also.) The last major upgrade I will mention is the D-Buckle band (this is one of the band options when purchasing.) If you are like me and very particular about the amount of pressure and location of your watch, then this band is the one for you. I think of it like a belt that uses holes to achieve the proper tightness, but one hole is too tight and one hole over is too loose. This band eliminates that issue and is by far the best band I have ever had on a watch. I have been using the Watch5 Pro for a couple of months and I have no buyer's remorse at all.

It lasts few days before needing to be charged, the health and all the new apps are awesome. I have the LTE version and use that all the time. It's great not always have to carry you phone with you everywhere. I would recommend getting the Pro series, the big screen is so clear and usable. Would recommend this watch to anyone considering getting a smart watch.

I am glad I did, it seems to have better sensors for heart and exercising. So many features may be the same as my watch 4 but with some added new ones and the sensors being seemingly upgraded I have not looked back. The user interface is easy to use and not cluttered. The battery life of this watch is simply amazing, I usually can go without charging for almost 3 days of use.

I had the watch 4 classic, it was a great device on easthetics, it looks like a real watch; a man's watch, not like the one one pulls a cereal box, or toy looking device that apple one sells. Then I traded in for watch 5 pro, then the watch 5 pro caught my eye on how well designed it is the size the weight like I said a man's watch. The battery lasts much longer, the memory, multiple apps that I don't have to pay, how it works nicely for selfies, recording voice, artificial assistant it's quick, I don't need to keep it close to my mouth and ears to speak on the phone mode and look goofy... The magnetic band it's comfortable and adjustable, I miss the spinning bezel. Overall I'm more than happy with my watch 5 pro. I love Samsung devices I dread every time I have to contact customer service, Samsung care its annoying, those employees aren't well trained and their English it's hard to understand. Major issues I have with care, there is not real customer service provided. Samsung devices, quality and performance excel my expectations and that the only reason I have stay loyal for many years to this brand. Maybe they should copy apple's way of keeping their customers happy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Otherworldly Watch!! After my Samsung Active Watch 2 stopped working, was looking to make the upgrade to a more professional looking watch. In comparing the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 against the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, I decided to select the Galaxy Watch 5. This Watch does not disappoint whatsoever! Although the watch may not come with the rotating bezel, the recessed touch bezel is beyond amazing. It improves the sleek design of the watch overall and given that I previously had the Samsung Galaxy Active Watch 2, I was used to the touch bezel. More on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro: - a TON of applications which integrate between your phone (I have a Samsung S20+) and watch. For example, I am a golfer and did not have any golf-supported apps for my Samsung Galaxy Active Watch 2. Now, there are numerous golf apps to select from which are compatible with my phone. How many yards out from the green am I, you ask? Instead of waddling back over to the golf cart, all I have to do is flex my bulging bicep, read my watch and select my club. BOOM! - the OS user experience is flawless. Similar to the OS for my Samsung Galaxy Active Watch 2, there was familiarity and comfort with the new Sansung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The touchscreen is quite responsive and user-intuitive. Simply phenomenal. - the ability to customize the watch to your liking is the most attractive part about this watch. Not only can you select the apps you want on your watch and those that you want to access quickly, you can customize your homescreen with customizable presets, that are provided by Samsung, or dabble in the Samsung Wear app to find a theme that best suits your personality. Can you ask for anything more?!? Nope! - The watchband is a great upgrade. A great soft, yet durable feel. Easy to clean with soap and water. No wear and tear after a month's use. The one-piece clasp, once strapped up, takes me back to watches I wrote in high school. Personally, I thoroughly enjoy the new one-piece clasp oppose to the usual clasp mechanism found on most standard watches these days. - Lastly, the battery life is fantastic. After wearing for a month, I can get upwards of 4 days worth of battery life, with moderate use. The charging of the battery is lightning quick. The watch will charge complete in less than 2 hours, and roughly charges a quarter of the battery life (25%) within 20-25 minutes. An outstanding feature seeing no one has that kind of time to wait around for watches to charge these days. - The only downfall which I have come across so far is that the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is not compatible with any current charging stations/pads (as of early OCT22) due to the watchband style. The watch does come with a small magnetic battery charger that plugs into any USB-C port one has. However, as I have several charging stations/pads around my palace to charge multiple Samsung devices at once, the watch is not compatible with these stations/pads unless you take the watchband off completely. Quite an inconvenience. It's unfortunate that Samsung did not think this through in its entirety prior to the release of the watch.

Although I was hesitant since I like to see reviews and see updates come through, i am so glad I made the leap. I don't use any other of my extensive watch collection, this does it all!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great battery, rugged, comfortable I bought this as soon as it came out. I wanted it to be better than my Watch 4, for the most part, it is. I knew it didn't have the rotating bezel but I figured the "new" way would be as good. It isn't. Please bring back the bezel. Since we know you won't, it's time to ditch the big. black area around the glass. The total thickness around the glass is 5 mm. The battery has been fantastic. I love the sleep functions, but please release the temperature sensor for better results. Overall, the watch is great. If you own the 4, wait before you upgrade. There isn't enough of a good difference to upgrade yet.

Perhaps when they get around to developing applications which utilize features like the temperature sensor, I will find more value. For now, it is the watch I had only newer and more expensive.

I have had all kinds of watches including the Apple Watch Ultra and even the Watch6. Love this most of all and I absolutely love the magnetic band! Happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my new watch I've had the old Galaxy watch for almost 6 years before I got this. My big thing was I needed a battery that would last more than one day because of the long battery life of the old galaxy. This watch gives me roughly 50 hours before the battery gets to 20% and is much faster and has much more capabilities than my old Galaxy obviously. I'm truly enjoying it's comfort and all of its smart features that help me with my sleeping habits to tracking so many of my health statistics.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very high quality device I have been using Fitbit devices for the last dozen years and always found them to be marginally useful and with a life span of less than a couple of years. I have had my Galaxy watch 5Pro for a few weeks now and and am extremely impressed with all of the features and how well they work. Also, these devices look like high end watches and the build quality seems to be top notch. The only negative I have is that I wish the battery life could be 5 or 6 days instead of 2 or 3. But that is a minor issue compared to the the high quality and number of great features of the this unit.
