Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard, not great but gets the job done. I thought I was getting the normal keyboard cover. This one is ok, the rear magnets to attach to the S9 Ultra are way to weak and it falls off often.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Book Cover is OK, not great The pro's for this book cover are that it's light and pretty thin so it doesn't add much weight for taking the tablet on the go and it's handy to store the s-pen when it's in its charging position. Also, it is nearly half the price of the more expensive cover they sell. On the con's side the keyboard doesn't have much feedback and the travel is pretty thin. Also, it is not backlit as the more expensive model is. Finally, I wish that the magnets were a bit stronger since if you're not careful while unfolding it for use it may come loose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for me Returned the slim cover. It's ok of you don't ever need the keyboard removed. But I need my tablet propped up on a side table beside me for work and this just did not work for our needs. Saving for the insanely priced upgrade one. When I got the tab 8 ultra, the cover with detachable keyboard was only 99 bux, I don't think the same keyboard cover for the 9 ultra justifies the 350% price increase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible Don't Buy Disappointed in this Samsung Slim fit cover for the S9 Ultra. Not up to what I've come to expect from a Samsung product. Not only does it NOT have a back-lit keys- it does not stay attached to the tablet! Back is somewhat magnetic- very weak. The typing is ok. I even got it 1/2 price & think that was to much. Not even close to the quality of Microsoft Surface keyboards. Save your money & buy 3rd party...wish I would have!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Issue with the typing cursor during use Everytime after I type in a symbol (by holding down the 'shift' key while pressing a key from the number row), the text cursor (aka caret) moves to the beginning/ 1st word of my sentence and starts placing the words I type after the symbol there. I don't know if the problem is coming from the tablet or the keyboard or if its a settings issue, but when I type through the on-screen keyboard, I have no problems. I was excited getting this item with my s9 ultra tab purchase, but it looks like I'm going to have to spend even more money now by purchasing a new Bluetooth keyboard to replace this one if I can't find a solution for this problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Efficient, Small Footprint. I am enjoying the slim keyboard / cover. The only issue is the double key hitting back to back (misses the second tap). I work around the double key problem by waiting a second before tapping the key again. I can type without looking and I like the feel of the keys. They are large enough and the pressure is a good balance. Making it extra special is that it was free, got $300 for my old tablet, and you financed it for 0.00%! Thanks! I also love the sharp, large 14.*" screen. I don't like looking at the smartphone screens. I bet you could fix the key problem in the next software update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty Solid I like this keyboard. Very sleek, very slim, doesn't add much thickness to the tablet at all. My only downsides are it's slightly smaller than a standard keyboard so it's a little tough to get used to normal typing, and the lack of a mouse pad (or maybe I just haven't figured it out). Other than those, it's a well adaptive tablet keyboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flimsy Flimsy. Keyboard bounces causing me to double type letters. I didn't realize this didn't have a trackpad when I bought it. Scrolling in Google Doccs with the pen is a pain. Instead of scrolling, it wants to highlight lines of text, so I'm really annoyed I overlooked the trackpad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Slim and cover and great keyboard Works well and very slim. Doesn't increase the bulk of the tablet, which I love. Sometimes the magnet releases if I open it in a hurry and my tablet slips out but that just reminds me to slow ddown. Keyboard is a lifesaver for me and I love the full-sized keys. Wish there was a touchpad, but I have a bluetooth mouse that works just fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mid Level Keyboard cover. Low level consider price The quality is just okay for what you are getting. Ill start with the pros of this keyboard. I felt they had smooth keystrokes and seemed responsive. I also enjoyed the amount of programmable buttons you can choose from. The pen cover is also very nice and the black looks very good. Now the cons. I wish it had a track pad. I also feel that sometimes it doesnt want to pair very well using the magnets on the bottom. i also wish the magnet was stronger on the top when it closes to the tablet itself. The magnet that holds it to tablet is also a little weak sometimes the tablet slips out. Realistically my willingness to pay for this product is around 75 dollars not what its actually priced at. Good thing it came free with my new tablet. Other thing that isnt a deal breaker but i wish they had backlit keys as well.

I still have a similar book cover I have with my Sam S8+ plus (well I passed it down to my mom) and it works pretty well , still brand new. I take pretty good care of my electronics as well so it's a win win.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not recommend I preordered the tablet and keyboard, so i have had them since launch. The keyboard does not work properly, if you type too fast it does not pick up letters. For some reason my "p" and "e" keys need to be pressed upto 3 times to input the letter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Came as a free bonus I am upgrading from a S7+ Tablet to this one, and thought the keyboard would be a similar design. the HUGE problem with this design vs the keyboard from the S7+ is that you always have to have the keyboard connected, which makes it inconvenient to use the tablet as a tablet. If I just want to use the tablet, then I need to remove it from the cover, which then leaves the pen exposed. Please consider adapting the prior design - it worked much better

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not recommend. I bought this a little less than a week ago, and don't have really any positive feedback. I'm really disappointed. The product is very flimsy and thin, keyboard lags VERY badly when typing, you cannot adjust the screen or even reposition your legs when it's on your lap or your Galaxy Tab falls off. When your Tab is attached it is very unsteady, wobbling back and forth, disconnecting from base when you type or even move a muscle. I recently switched from my iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard to this, which was a major downgrade (the keyboard, not tablet). Another downfall is it not having a trackpad, and costing double the price for one that does. Considering the poor quality of this, im scared to even try the other version. I wish I would've loved it.

Basically, this keyboard is a high quality item that effectively transforms your tablet into a laptop; however, the problem is the keyboard isn't removable. That means having this keyboard-case attached effectively loses all ability to be used as a tablet, so a tablet that can't be used as a tablet with this keyboard-case. Ponder. It's gathering dust on my shelf, as I got this for free, while I put on a real case that protects my tablet, and allows me to use my tablet as a tablet. 2/5 +1 star because it's a very high quality item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keyboard good but cover needs improvement Good keyboard. The Tab 9 is held by magnet to book cover. If you are needing to type a lot then this will work. But if not, it is not a good cover. It offers no prorection around the edge of the Tab 9. I purchased from Amazon a mire secure type book cover that prorects it better around the edges. That is the reason for the 4 rating. When not using the keyboard the cover is a little difficult to hold. The substitute i purchased has a strap to help hokd the Tab 9. It is a large Tablet so it is more cumbersome to hold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needs to be back lit The keyboard is fine, but only if you have a lighted area. Without being backlit, it is impossible to see what is where. Fortunately, you can bring up the on-screen keyboard, but that kind of defeats the purpose of an attached keyboard. It makes the attached keyboard just an added weight and redundancy I don't need to carry. The feel of the keys is good and I do use it a lot when there is adequate lighting. It can be a bit awkward to hold with the added thickness and weight. I also do not care to be touching moving keys in the tablet configuration. For an added bonus piece for purchasing the S9 Ultra, it is fine. Would I purchase it on my own? No, there are cheaper options with the backlit feature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tab S9 ultra Keyboard Cover Slim Previously, for my tab s 8 plus, I used the standard book cover keyboard with a trackpad which allowed the screen to be propped up at any angle. The slim keyboard Can only hold the screen at one angle. So far it works ok, but I prefer the other style. I just think the standard keyboard cover is too expensive. The slim cover was part of a package, so free was a good price.

I called support and it was determine thatIshould return it and possibly for a replacement. the next day it started working again. I am in a pickle, should i return it or hold on to it and wait to see if it stop working again. the return ticket has been emailed to me.

Nice slim compact holder keeping my stylist and tablet together. Definitely a must have. My only complaint is the keys on the keyboard sometimes don't register when typing. I have found that you have to press the keys a little harder than i like. All in all Definitely reccomend if you are planning on purchasing this awesome tablet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unnecessary Gift - Book Cover Keyboard Slim I traded in my S8 Ultra for the S9 Ultra. I couldn't do that with the keyboard case so to make up for that, I was given this. I'm disabled & on a fixed income. I saved for a few months to get this upgrade. The S8 Ultra Keyboard case costs $350. They made it incompatible with the S9 Ultra to make consumers purchase a new $350 case. I'm not saying this is a bad product. I'm saying that in my situation, I couldn't care less about it. Samsung should also take trade-ins for the cases as well. I'm not in a position to pay for expensive, luxury items every year or so

Having the whole thing together is not as convenient. Other than that, it works well, is easy to type on, and keeps the tablet safe, so I am generally satisfied.
