I try other but did not work 100% I have to buy Acronis True Image 2019. .only Acronis True Image 2019 ( Acronis True Image 2018 do not have clone disk function)have clone disk function and clone disk with Mac & window 10(VM ware). this information for your future user or Samsung management add this product to work smooth with Mac-OS If i am using with window-OS It will Get Five star.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It had an optical drive that came with it, so after doing research on the Samsung, I decided to give it a try. The Installation was easy and fast. Everything booted fine, but this time at lighting speeds. The drive performed above and beyond my expectations and saved me from purchasing another Mac Book Pro . Not only on the boot time, but moving from files to files as well. Having many pages opened up on line or on the drive, it handled well. I'm one happy customer and recommend this drive with an A+. But after the Samsung SSD upgrade really, I started liking it. It really a great product which works with older laptop as well. Very easy installation and Easy data migration software. I can turn on my computer in less than 20 seconds now and I can open my programs without waiting any time. It is very nice to have the "Rapid Mode". I don't know if makes that much faster, but I have been really enjoying my new SSD. Great buy and several options on Samsung Magician. Will buy it again! Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fast SSD Drive Purchased at Best Buy on sale. Downloaded migration software from Samsung. Cloned new SSD. Note: you will need a sata wire 3.0(usb) to do this. I also needed an Insignia SSD Mount to install this into the computer. I have an HP All In One 27 inch, I-7 computer. Taking the back off of the computer is a real pain so read how others did this. Removed old drive, install new drive, put back cover on. Hooked up power pushing the start button. Off it went. Booted up in 24 seconds. All seems to be normal in operation. SPEED = Hang on for it is fast! Instruction = Just above Poor at best. Cloning = Takes approximately two hours. Installation = Takes less than thirty minutes.

Start up times was extremely quick and faster load times on games as well. Transfer rates from both SSDs are fast and efficient! I also recall the days when Windows had HD size constraints. I would never say that I love data migrations, I'd rather avoid them, so when I saw reviews that the Samsung Migration Tools were a great, that is what convinced me to purchase a Samsung SSD. Data access is liekwise much faster, programs boot up much more quickly and it's almost like a new laptop rather than over 6 years old.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If your running AMD AM3+ motherboard read this Computer was freezing up and I lost around 1.5 weeks of contract work before I figured out what was causing it, you have to uninstall the AMD AHCI drivers in the Device manager and get the standard windows Windows AHCI drivers from the internet, so far it's been stable and actually working. hundreds of others with similar problems get the (Standard AHCI 1.0 Serial ATA Controller) my samsung 850 pro had no problems then I added the 1TB evo 860 and computer would not stop freezing for almost 2 weeks, I almost replaced the MOBO and power supply.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My new computer is now perfect and a joy to use. I bought a wonderful new laptop that was one of the best that I have ever used. The trouble was that it took a long time to boot up and get started. Having used SSD units before I knew that the Samsung Evo drives would be a wise choice. I ordered the one terabyte model and copied all the data from the laptop onto the EVO drive. Installation was easy so I replaced the hard drive with the SSD and was prepared to be amazed. Everything worked perfectly and boot up time is now 12 seconds and all of my programs run at lightning speed. My new laptop is now perfect and leaps and bounds better than it could have ever been without using a solid state drive. I love it. I started with mine and the cloning feature could not be easier! I cloned the drive, replaced the drive, and booted the laptop on the new Samsung Solid State Hard Drive. After installing the magician software and optimizing the drive, was off to the races! These hard drives breath new life into your aging laptops!! The 1 TB is a must to start, but might add another SSD in the future..this is plenty of storage for most of my programs...Slim design and easy install. Setup in disk management on windows is a snap...highly recommended.

Well over a dozen people informed me that I would not be disappointed with this SSD, and after using it since early April 2018 I have to report I am extremely pleased! Thanks to anyone who suggested this SSD and furthermore, anybody looking for an SSD, don't purchase a low end less expensive SSD...buy this one and you won't be disappointed!! Thanks Samsung!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wow! This 860 EVO SSD Is INCREDIBLY FAST! I purchased this 860 EVO SATA III drive to replace a working, 1 TB HDD in my one year old laptop. The speed difference is ASTOUNDING! I knew it would be faster. I didn't think it would be as FAST as it is. I used the same SATA III interface in the laptop that the HDD used and installation was a "breeze". Now my laptop boots and runs MARVELOUSLY faster. I have been running and using this new, replacement SSD for three weeks now and it is performing perfectly. After installing this 860 EVO SATA III SSD, I used BOTH of the "Samsung" software programs. The first one for "Migration" of my "Windows 10 Home" and personal data to this new SSD. I then downloaded and used the "Magician" program for update and optimization of this new SSD. Those "Samsung" programs worked perfectly. The "Migration" program was not only EASY, it was very FAST. The "Magician" software is also great. It immediately downloaded from the "Samsung" website and then VERY EASILY updated the firmware in my new SSD. The "Magician" program is an EASY to use maintenance program to monitor the drive. It also has a "performance booster" feature that did make my new 860 EVO SSD run even faster. I am so pleased, I immediately ordered a "Samsung 970 EVO" SSD for my desktop PC. That will be an NVMe/M.2 interface so that will be even faster. I shopped "long and hard". These "Samsung" products get the best reviews and at a great value in cost. I am very pleased. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Product I've been a fan of Samsung SSD for a while now. I have used other products before but they have not been as reliable as Samsung. They make solid SSD products and different specification depending on how much you want to pay for them. But their bottom end are the same speed as all the other SSD out there but just a lot more reliable. Like with other SSD drives, they can be easily installed in PCs or laptops with little experience with hardware installations. Plugs can only go in one way to make sure they are properly connected the correct way and to the correct connectors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best move for speeding up your computer I was having issues with editing video from a GoPro. One suggestion I found online was to get a SSD for my harddrive. This has improved my video editing by 3-400 %. The machine runs and boots up much faster and processing video is much faster. Bought a second drive to replace the second mechanical drive. Wished I had done this much sooner.
