Rated 5 out of 5 by from 1st day using them and I love them so far The microphones seem to work great. There are 4 on the front. I like the boomless because I can make a call on the spot and not have to worry about moving the boom. A small thing but it keeps me ready in "state" to make a call on the spot. I also dont want bluetooth on my head for 8+ hours so this is an excellent choice.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable and great sound for office! Pros: This thing fits and look great. They’re soft and comfortable on my head and very easy to reach up and adjust with no frustration. I am using them in my office on an iMac with the USB connection. No issues at all...plug-n-play. The noise canceling feature works perhaps a little too well because it really makes it eerily quiet when there is nothing coming in. I have actually been turning off the noise-cancel feature now and then when I want to make sure I hear someone calling my name or need some background noise but still want good sound. One thing I appreciate are the large R and L printed on the inside of the headset. I know someone will say, hey you can look at the cord but that’s not always the case and it’s much easier to visually see the R-L than guessing. I hate it when headsets get overly complicated…this one is not. Noise cancelling is also located in a great spot on the right ear. The volume up/down is pretty simple as well as the forward and reverse buttons. All four are conveniently on the outside of the left ear. The built-in microphone seems to work fine (left ear button), too, however it’s so quiet I can hear myself maybe a little too much (especially when noise cancel is on). Cons: The one pet peeve I have with these headphones is that the cord makes a little too much noise anytime something bumps it or it moves across my desk. I think that is partially from being so dang quite that you can hear things coming in contact with the cable. That being said, that is not a deal-breaker by any means as the comfort, sound and quiet levels far make up for that minor annoyance. I also wish it was easier to change the adapters. It would have been great if it came with quick interchangeable USB, USB-C and headphone adapters instead of being hard-wired for one...making me pick my favorite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect solution for an Open Office! So I'm very familiar with the Voyager Focus headset as I use it daily for work. I was excited to see how they made the Blackwire 7220 as it appears to be a wired version of the Focus. I wanted to see if they brought the premium audio and active noise cancelling and I was not disappointed! It's everything that the Focus delivers while removing the Boom Mic and adding a USB wire. This is perfect for an open office where the employees need to remove distractions but want to stay wired. Another impressive offering from Plantronics and I'm expecting this to be a popular headset!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Headphones Got to be one of the best over the ear headphones I have ever had. The sound quality is so crispy and just enough bass without the booming. They are so light in weight you forget you have them on. I use the Blackwire 7225 on my iMac with no problems. Tried using an 3.5mm Male AUX Audio Plug Jack to USB 2.0 Female Converter Cable for my iPhone SE but it did not work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Active noise canceling real winner in the 7225 With the adding of Active noise canceling (ANC) in the new Blackwire 7225 is the true winning feature when listen to music from my Laptop computer. ANC is canceling unwanted noise in work and home environment to truly enjoy my music. Light weight and very comfortable fit with easy connection to my computer. Nice carrying case to protect when not in use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, light weight, suprising audio quality After a few weeks of use, these headphones are impressive. The earcups are very comfortable and overall the headphones are very lightweight. A big +1 for me is that they were plug-and-play with my work computer, which has tight security. The desktop software seems nice but I doubt our security would allow for installing it, though I did install it on my personal machine- the skype and other integrations seem useful. The cord is plenty long so if you have any concerns there, it shouldn't be an issue for you (though it is an adjustment since my walking headphones are bluetooth). If I were to have any negatives, it would be the same as what you find with many wired headphones - tapping or bumping the cable can give you that strange underwater sound / feel, like when you are in a pool and there is a noise. The noise cancelling works decently - not for like, people talking (which is probably good in an office type setting) but for constant room noise. We have a constant wooshing above us from the air ducts and it cuts a lot of that out when the setting is turned on. I will say though, it takes getting used to having that setting on- like, I personally feel a little pressure in my forehead with that turned on. Oh, the headphones came with a nice little carrying pouch that is great for my computer bag. Overall, I think these are comfortable, relatively attractive, and the quality of the audio will beat expectations- especially considering these are built around the ability to also use them for teleconferences and office communications.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sound and comfort! These headphones have an amazing bass response and clarity in addition to the overall sound fidelity. Setup was effortless as it was ready to go as soon as I plugged it in. They're very comfortable to wear for extended periods of time, so they're great for long gaming sessions or working on long projects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headset but with a few cons The headset is very comfortable and easy to install. Quality of calls is excellent. However, the cord makes noise in your ears when it rubs against shirt or anything else. It should also have some type of clip so that you can attach the cord to your shirt. The noise cancelling works well, especially in an office environment. The buttons to turn on/off the microphone and the noise cancelling is extremely difficult to find and manipulate. I like that it is boomless and that part works well. All in all, a nice product but could use some important improvements.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best headset till date Sound in this headset is the most clear I ever heard. While hearing music, this headset reproduces very minute sounds also, which I never heard before in the same song. Noise cancellation is the best I have experienced. I am phone calls literally who day, mostly conference calls. Voice, both ways, is crystal clear and mute / unmute are very convenient

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ANC is solid I’m pretty impressed with the ANC on these headphones which help conference calls and conversations to sound clear to others on the receiving end of the call. Headphones are comfortable, adjustable and ease to store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from On-ear headphones with great ANC...... I got these headphones last week and have been putting them through their paces since. I needed a headphone for the office that would allow me to take calls and listen to music and be unobtrusive when doing so. Build Quality\Comfort: When I first held the Backwire 7225, I noted how light they were, but they felt well constructed. I noticed the metal construction of the headband, and how sturdy it was. I like the raised controls on the outside of the earpads that allow for a fairly easy control scheme also. The earpads seem comfortable and the nice padded headband helps promote long term use without the headphones being uncomfortable over time. Controls: The controls are well thought out and easy to use. Plus and minus are used for volume on the left cup, while the reverse\fast forward and play\pause buttons are between them. The open mic button is on the bottom of the left cup. The Right cup has a sliding button on the top to enable active noise cancelling, while the outside of the cup is clickable for calls. All of the controls have a nice raised feel to them to help differentiate between them. Sound Quality: Call quality was crisp and sounded great to me. The ANC(active noise cancelling helped with both calls and music, providing a great listening experience in a busy environment, keeping the loud ambient noises of my workplace at bay. Music had ample bass without being bloated and the highs were decent and there was sufficient instrument separation. Overall I am happy with the Blackwire 7225, although I prefer over-ear to on-ear headphones because they block out more ambient sound.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just as advertised I got this with the idea of being able to work in silence. The moment I put on the headphones, I could feel a difference. This product is ideal for a person working and not wanting to be disturbed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable but Poor Mic Quality I got these for my home office. They are comfortable and I like all the features they have, but when I compared voice recordings of these vs. my regular Apple ear buds, the difference was astonishing. The ear buds sound clear and crisp while these headphones make me sound like I'm underwater in a tin can. I will be returning these.
