Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good sound and battery, bad bluetooth adapter The sound quality and battery life are good, but the supplied bluetooth adapter creates rather loud pops and clicks. Have latest firmware, tried different USB ports, etc. Removed it and used laptop's built-in bluetooth and clicking is gone. Put the supplied adapter in a drawer if you think you might need it for a bluetoothless system and are desperate, or just chuck it.

Like old plastic thats been in the sun too long it shattered. Buy something else

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not work with PC. Very poor customer service Here's the thing. One day you decide you want something more mobile than your wired USB headset for PC. So, you stretch your budget and buy this headset for 10x the USB one price. Then, you quickly realize it was a BIG MISTAKE. Or, more precisely, you fell a victim of a BIG HYPE. This headset does NOT work with PC in 90% of cases. It does NOT work with Skype. It does NOT work with Webex. It does NOT work with most of communicators. It does NOT integrate properly in most of PC programs and Windows itself. If you try to use it without the ancient USB dongle they supply with it - you get no controls, only voice. If you use it with the dongle - you get no Windows integration. Programs would NOT know that your headset is switched off or out of range. They will TRY TO USE it because this stupid dongle pretends you have a headset always connected. Certainly, you get no sound in these cases. Furthermore, after your PC went sleeping or hibernation once, the headset became inaccessible and you have to REBOOT your computer to make it working (!. Nice, isn't it? Last but not least. The company plainly ignores all your troubles and send you only rubber stamp responses that not all PC created equal. My recommendation: You can buy it for a cell phone but forget about PC.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from USB-C version comes with USB-A dock and cable Be aware that if you are specifically selecting the USB-C version of this headset, you will only get a USB-C bluetooth adapter. The included dock and charging cable will be USB-A based. I wished that was made more clear in the product description. If you own a MacBook, this will be a headache as you cannot charge or update the firmware without buying a new cord or adapter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Purchased 6 for a call center. All have broken within 2 years. Mics have gone bad, plastic has broken around the headset itself, users reported they were not comfortable. Callers reported not being able to hear very well. Was super noise-cancelling though.

Just one remark: a plastic component of the headband broke and I wanted to replace it. Unfortunately Plantronics told me they won't sell it to me, because it cannot be sold to me (?)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not to Shabby This is on the top 3 list for best headsets I have used in 27 years of telecom and personal use. The Voyager is the only professional one on that list even competing with things outside of it's niche. I would say the RIG 800HD #1, Creative Fatal1ty #2, and the Voyager Focus UC #3. The ease of use switching between devices is amazing and im not sure how we survived without it before haha. The comfort and battery life is good enough for work or play 10 hours a day with up to 6 hours of on ear time. I even use it for it's ANC when i go in the data center for ear protection.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Call profile ruins Stereo profile When you are on a call the music or videos you also still have on flip from a stereo profile to a call profile. Basically the sound quality goes from clear as expected to an old 70s style speaker that's been punched and left in the rain a few days. You cannot change these settings... Its incompetence beyond belief. I would rather have a $10 headset

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great headset BUT Great headset, awesome sound and functionality. But I had my headset for less than 1 year and i placed it back on the stand and it snapped! I assume the weight of the overall device weakened the point where the pressure sits as that is where it snapped so easily. And i am very careful with my headset. Have full confidence in plantronics though love their products, i am now looking for a replacement similar to this headset if anyone can help?

However, after 18 months the plastic started to fatigue and over a couple of days it fell to pieces. I tried to get it operational again with glue and tape, but i simply kept falling part. Really disappointed with the quality of the materials

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Uncomfortable, connectivity is unreliable Disappointed as I was issued these for work. I know they are not inexpensive. Very uncomfortable after an hour or hour and a half as they make my ears numb. Have had recent neck pain and after paying attention to my usage of these and when my neck pain occurs have reluctantly stopped using. Neck pain gone. Sound is excellent, connectivity is unreliable and they will connect and disconnect with my laptop randomly. Disappointed is the most accurate description. Feel bad for my company as they give these out indicating that they are top quality and want us to have the best. Told my IT department my issues and learned I wasn’t the only one having concerns. Recent random discussion with coworkers and I am finding most of them don’t like these headsets and have purchased ear bud type set up on their own. One coworker gave his headset to his kid for use with his tablet and his kid said they were uncomfortable. Sorry Plantronics but you have missed the mark with these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great....until it was time to recharge! I switched to this headset as I was tired of being tied to the desk by a wire. When it first arrived, I was impressed by the clarity of the sound and how well the noise cancelling feature worked. However, once the battery got low and I plugged it in using the accessories provided, it would not charge. I tried several other cables, adapters, etc. to no avail.

Even though headset states that phone is connect, bluetooth is connected on the phone, and phone detects connection, there is no voice in the headset. That keeps on repeating and reconnection between devices is not a solution. I can use the phone with headset roughly 50% of the time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best headset ever Noise cancelling is great, clarity is great, comfort is great, battery life is great - have used them for 8 hours straight without a charge (use it for work). I have a wired, over-ear gaming headset at home that doesn't have the sound this thing has, AND it's less comfortable! I now take this headset home on weekends to watch movies and YouTube stuff. Unbelievable sound. The "Mute on" and "Mute off" notifications are annoying, but hardly as loud as some reviewers have made them out to be. I've also had them for over a year, dropped them a couple times, etc. and they're still going strong. Headsets are ALL made of metal and plastic, so if you step on them or whatever, they will all break, but these are no worse than any other. Also love that the mic folds either way. Easy to install, easy to use. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor audio quality I have not been able to troubleshoot successfully to resolve the massive amounts of interference the audio feedback has. I've finally had to switch back to my wired headset because I was missing too much conversation on client calls. Other than updating firmware, I was not able to find any useful troubleshooting for this issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Technical problems the second time in 5 months I bought this device for work and the second time in 5 months it is having problems. I had to have the first one replaced in less than 2 months because the top part of the black plastic broke. Now the plastic is coming lose again and the audio is cutting out on the speaker opposite the mic and the volume is low on the one speaker that is working. WHEN it is working, it is a fine product. It is just cheaply made to break twice in such a short time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can be the only headset in your bag. I have owned a Voyager Focus UC for more than a year now. I spend as much as 6 hours a day on the phone and this is the headset I prefer. Audio quality is outstanding, background noise doesn't bleed into conversations and it's extremely comfortable. With acting noise cancellation, there is little need for additional audio headsets. It's not pricey compared to headsets of similar functionality and Plantronics quality means years of service from the headset. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

To the extent that I was working in a coffee shop in Burlington, VT when a very loud tour group came in and say at the table in front of me. My coworkers had no idea what I was talking about when I apologized for the noise. I've been a Plantronics fan for years, but this is the best product from them I've ever used. I reached out to Plantronics and they will not take care of repairing it and say that it's out of warranty. I have been reading through other online reviews and alot of people have mentioned this problem. It's obvious that it is a common problem and it's unfortunate the Plantronics will not step up to address it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic for any use I use this on occasion when I need some silence and really need to focus on the call, or occassionally just with my phone watch Netflix or listening to music. The headset is phenomenal, noise canceling is superb and it works better than any of my other headsets I have. I've used it in my open office environment with great success and can walk around a pretty good distance while maintaining connection, although I do get some looks because of the size of the headset. I even used this mowing my lawn and at a gun shoot to protect my ears and was well pleased with the results there. For the lawn I can keep the music at a normal volume as opposed to other headset where I have to crank them up to still only hear part of the music.

Edge, Legend.. needed something for my Cisco UC... something that would last (battery wise)... spent the money,, sometime you get what pay for... WOW!!! Outstanding headset, a cadillac for sure. Comfort all day, noise cancelling works great..dual ear and still can hear outside..(safety), seemless between cell and PC, plays my music GOOD, not great... but hey this still rocks and I don't need to go deaf!! LOL!! Can't take them off.. makes works conf calls top notch,, can hear EVERYTHING on the other side of the call, LOL>> wouldn't wait, you need this..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from umcomfortable It's great in utility, but very uncomfortable to wear for long. I'm on the fence about returning it. If they fixed the ear pads, I'd be inclined to make this a 4 star review. I wouldn't say the range is anywhere near as claimed from my experience. It starts to get choppy at about 25 or 30 feet which is a far cry from the advertised 98 feet. The audio is OK, but it doesn't sound anywhere near as good as any of my other headsets. Don't get me wrong, it sounds good enough for its utility - work. It's also good enough to listen to music between calls and meetings, but not exactly what I'd call satisfying for any audiophile like myself. I'm very disappointed in the comfort. The ear pieces seem designed more for a large man's big ears where the foam goes more around than ON my ears as it should. They partly rest on my jaws whoch is uncomfortable as well. The foam is very weak with too much give so I end up feeling hard plastic pressing on my ear cartilage which is pretty painful. I don't see what the point of 12 or 14 hour battery life is if you can't wear the headset very long. These get hot too.

I often work from coffee shops and my vehicle and nobody hears the noise around me, truly amazing. For a few co-workers I have turned the noice cancelling off when we are talking and they can’t believe the difference

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Plastic breaks constantly I purchased this headset for my fiancée as a gift about a year ago because I use these for work and I loved them initially, however they started breaking on me about 6 months in. They started breaking on him starting about the same time frame. They have since broken on him 3 or 4 times. We have tried to superglue them or tape them back together and they keep breaking further. The plastic on the headset the holds the earpiece around the head snaps in half and is constantly unbuckling. Now I have two headphones that I paid a lot of money for that need to be thrown away.

The winning features are the customization enabled by their Plantronics Hub app, available on your phone or computer, and the multi-device connectivity. There are many features that will make you think this is the headset of the future. However... This device cannot help you transfer calls. Be prepared for massive inconvenience. It is advertised as a certified device capable of working smoothly with Microsoft Teams, and is available on their website as well... but there is an error which remains unfixed for at least the last seven months: When you transfer a call, you will hear the headset emit an annoying beep that persists even when you turn the headset on and off again. With even one user this is an annoying issue to fix, but if you have a call center or are deploying a large volume of devices, be prepared to face waves of frustration: neither Microsoft nor Plantronics are taking ownership over the issue and there has been no definitive action to resolve the issue in the seven months that it's been logged. You'll be left to deal with this on your own. Plantronics, please push out a fix to this issue, and please provide us a definitive help article to mitigate the chaos that happens in the meanwhile.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two years and counting free HEadset I purchased this headset over a year and 1/2 ago. I reviewed it when I got it and I was in love with it then. Best in class. I bought it to use with a voice recognition software. He gave me 100% recognition. The fact it has crystal clear audio is a plus for me as I am hearing impaired. Also people told me previously they have a hard time understanding me on the phone. Since I started using this headset I've not had that problem. Many times am in noisy environments which would prohibit me from being able to listen to music let alone talk on the phone this headset has rectified all the situations for me. In addition it's made me an incredible extraordinary speller because I can use it with my Dragon NaturallySpeaking and get hundred percent recognition.

One day I dropped it from my desk to carpet floor. It snapped off the microphone. I am looking for a new one - a cheaper with stronger structure.

I also love the volume controls and ANC. Overall, I think it's definitely worth the investment. I can't go back to any other headset after using this one. Hand downs recommend to all my coworkers and friends who make calls or who get on conference calls at work.

I've had it for about a month now, and it's becoming my favorite accessory, second only to my Pixel XL. I'm wearing it constantly, work, driving, gaming at home, and it is always comfortable with crystal clear audio. This is a purchase you will be sure to be happy with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mic ANC / Weak skpears ANC This have been my first headphones with ANC. I was keen to test them so I went to a coffee shop and took skype calls from there. The people at the other side of the line didn't hear most of the noice surrounding me but my clear voice, really good. What I was dessapointed with is that despite having ANC active, I hear most of my surroundings (people talking, cars, coffee machine, etc), so it doesn't help to focus as advertised. The ANC is very good on the mic. It doesn't isolate you from the noise arround you though.

I also like the ANC feature. I haven't tried the Focus on an airplane yet. This is my first wireless headset and I'm enjoying the freedom of no wires.

It has completely changed how I take calls and enhanced my work experience. I can confidently take calls anywhere and sound like I am in a secluded office. I also use the headset throughout the day to listen to all genres of music. Sound quality is superb. The interoperability across my different devices and software applications has also been outstanding. Once set up, switching between computers, phones, and applications is mostly seamless. Battery life and charge time has also been excellent.

I cant even make it 7 hours for a full day without it saying low battery then just shutting off. Plus the range is maybe 10 to 12 ft from the hub which i feel thats not very far it starts to get static and wont work anything passed that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features and nice sound, quite comfortable I love this headset for conference calls, because I don't feel like I'm yelling at the people on the call like I did with a speaker phone. It's very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is wonderful. I use it for listening to music as well as for calls. Also, the controls on the headset are intuitive and effective. I think the software still needs a bit of work, because I've had two occasions when Skype for Business under Windows 10 didn't recognize the headset even after unplugging and plugging in the USB dongle. I had to reboot my computer to make it work again.

Software does not support the capabilities to turn off an annoying "Mute On" reminder that is played back to the user every time mute is pressed on or off. The Software supports turning off the "Mute Off" reminder only but not the "Mute On". During a work call where you have to frequently mute / unmute this is borderline unusable as you miss half of the conversation as the verbal notification is so loud. Called support, they were unable to assist and provided not work around.

Overall, it performs as advertised, but I have encountered a consistent echo issue with the headset. I am able to hear my own voice slightly delayed in the earphones of the headset, when speaking. This makes it very difficult to have an effective conversation using the headset. The problem occurs when headset is connected to a computer via the USB dongle or directly with my cellphone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Skype Calls I bought this specifically to take Skype calls, but I really like it for use with my cell phone as well. The sound is rich and full. It's also nice to be able to cut down on background office noise and it is a very comfortable headset. My only criticisms are that my android phone doesn't like to release control to the dongle and vice-versa. Also, the styling is very conservative almost a little dated: I wish they offered that nice white + tan leather color combination that they use on the Backbeat Sense.

There is a ton of cross talk and other background noise that can get really distracting. Before buying this headset, I had been using an old Bose QC15 ANC headset to block out background noise, but they didn't help with Skype for business, which we use for all communication. The noise canceling on the Voyager Focus doesn't come close to being as effective as the old Bose headphones. It's noticeable, but does not block out even moderate talking. I have to resort to listening to low volume music all day to block out distractions. Beyond the ANC, the headset is really nice. It just doesn't live up to the advertising hype.

It's light weight, and I can wear it for a long time without my ears being sore. The controls from the headset, mute, hangup, volume control are very easy to access. I have tried so many including from Plantronics the Edge, Legend, Back Beat Go, and Sense. The Focus blends many of the best features of this legendary lineup of headsets while adding in a few tricks of its own. This headset is lightweight, sounds great, and lets me sound great to my Customers and coworkers. After buying the Sense a few weeks ago I realized that all of my needs had been met with the exception of active noise cancellation and a multi microphone set up that cuts down on background noise to make it easier for people to hear what I am saying. After taking my first flight and using the Sense I realized that the on-the-ear design was not going to cut out enough of the jet engine noise for me to be comfortable. The Sense is powerful enough to cover the noise with volume but that wasn't enough. I discussed this with a Plantronics Tech Support person and explained that I wished there was a Sense with a boom mic and active noise cancellation. To my surprise he said that the Focus had exactly what I was looking for and he was right!! I bought the Focus that day and it arrived early today. I have been using them all day today and with the combination of the HD Voice and the active noise cancellation I have never been heard so clearly while using a Cell Phone. It connects very quickly to my iPhone 6+ and will even notify me when I am trying to talk while on mute. Anyone used to 2 hour company conference calls will appreciate this unique feature since it is very easy to forget you are on mute and then realize you haven't been heard for the past 2 minutes because you are on mute. Grrrrrrr!!!! Anyone needing a 9 hour capacity high quality headset for conference calls will appreciate this headset. Next week I will give the Focus the Airplane test and will update this review after that trip. Stay tuned.

Then I found this one, at a fabulous price. It works great, Plug N Play with Windows 10, my five 9 recognized it immediately, now I'm not tied to my desk. Thank you so much Plantronics. However, having tried them out and adjusting the setting of the headset via the Hub software I found this to be an amazing device. The sound quality when on a call is great and the fact they block out local sounds ensures that you can concentrate on your call without unnecessary interruptions.

I like the ANC and the noice cancelling and the sound quality is pretty good. The problem is that I suddenly FOUND a crack in the headset near the ear cushion. I taped it up with black tape but knowing that was not sufficient for the price of these headphones, I contacted customer service and they graciously sent me a replacement device. Not long after receiving it, I simply left it on my couch and when I went to retrieve it, I found a piece broke off from the headband. No impact, no dropping, nothing. The plastic casing is of very light and of poor quality. I would like a different item.

Works well with my PC and my iPhone. Major flaw, though: I travel a lot for business, and I take this everywhere. I have now broken the plastic on the headset in three places. (Pro-tip, get some "Plastic Surgery" glue to put it back together. Regular super glues will not work on this plastic.) What product is similar to the Voyager Focus UC but can hold up to frequent travel?

I work in an open "modern workspace" and the noise canceling feature is important to me. On the downside be warned: This headset requires one of your usb ports for the transmitter and another port to charge the headset. The headset does not connect to your PC via bluetooth without the usb transmitter so don't lose it! The warranty does not cover product loss. Only for this reason I wouldn't recommend it as the perfect solution.

I use this for everything from my VoIP phone to Lync, to my cell phone, and for music. Understanding that Bluetooth is not the best for providing high quality audio. It does a really good job of reproducing the music. The ability to pair with many devices and the 14 hour battery life make this a great headset. I know my coworkers have been ordering the same headset because of my recommendation! Great work Plantronics. You always seem to have have quality products

I work in a bullpen like environment where partitions are low and voices carry. Love the ANC feature so i can focus. Only concerning is MS Lync, I have to remember not audio coming from my phone, if I do I will not hear anything. I am on calls a good 4+ a day and the batter life is good. I am glad my search is over. I have bought many bluetooth headsets this is the first I am truly satisfied.

The headset is also good for music, but not as good as for example Beoplay H7. The one thing I really dislike is that I can only have 2 devices connected at the same time, and the PC connection counts as one connection. That means it can only connect to the PC and one mobile, not two as my need is.

I used to use the over-ear Voyager and loved it, but unfortunately, so did my dogs and replacing that headset 3X a month got pretty spendy. So I started looking for over-ear headsets. I've tried at least 3 other expensive headsets with frusterating results. This headset moves seemlessly between the two - even on my Mac. The noise canceling is a life-saver, with two dogs and a house under construction next door, I've put this to the test at been thrilled with the results. This headset is worth it's weight in gold. I'm a Plantronics fan for life.

I was skeptical at first and only expected to use the noise cancelling during work. To my surprise, the sound is exceptional when I listen to music through it. It's got just the right amount of bass to keep it lively without pounding my head. I love the head strap acting as a switch too. The battery life is phenomenal! I can work on projects without being distracted by background noise at all. The ANC switch makes it easy to monitor what's going on if I want. Headset, although larger, is comfortable and easily adjustable. Voices are very clear, no static, and great for conference calls. Controls are positioned well on the headset and easy to use and I love that I can use it for communications on my laptop and cell phone at the same time. Excellent headset, wished I'd had this months ago!

Plain and simple, it could benefit from a redesign. It's just not soft enough to be worn for extended periods of time. I have a fairly large head and constantly find myself having to take off the headset after a few calls to deal with the pain I feel while wearing it for a long period of time.

I have not put the microphone through the paces for the Focus UC yet, however I have used it in relatively high noise environments. I have had no complaints about background noise being picked up by the microphone. The headset is also very comfortable. The headset is not without fault, however. The ANC is middling at best. I previously used a Nokia 900 series on-ear headset and found that the ANC was very, very good. The ANC on the Voyager Focus is just ok.

Averaging 3-5 hours per day on conference calls one can quickly appreciate the quality of this headset. (Note: I have only used Skype/Lync so far.) The sound quality is clear and the microphone is impeccable. I've have yet to receive a complaint for background noise, even with a TV at medium volume or my noise cube-mates. As others have mentioned, there have been a few moments when headset would go 'wonky" with an issue accepting a call but its rare and more often an issue with the phone/PC. Give them a try -- You won't regret it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good headset (not for gaming) I was gifted this headset and it fits like a dream, very comfortable especially when on long calls. The noise canceling features are nice. I've had no issue with the mic everyone says they can hear me just fine. Music playback from cell phone or computer works well though can be a bit to bassy for my taste. I have however had some problems with the Bluetooth dongle switching from phone to PC it doesn't always want to release the audio. I've also run into some Windows 10 issue when using Cortanta and the dongle getting stuck in "call mode" (blue light flashing) and wont stop until I unplug the dongle and plug it back in. This probably wont affect most people buying this product but, felt it was worth emntioning. As an avid gamer i was really looking forward to using this products while playing games and talking with friends on Skype or TeamSpeak. However doing so really effects audio quality trying to stream game sound and also use Skype turns off the A2DP sound stream and audio can lag and even repeat from the game. I've had to switch to playing game audio through my speakers which end up having me miss a lot of audio queues thanks to the great noise cancellation.

I gave it 4 stars b/c the fit on my ears is not awesome for prolonged periods. However, if your ears are not like mine (see below), that may not matter to you! Pros: I love how it integrates with Skype and shows me as DND when I take a cell phone call. I'm on the phone a lot and that is a big help. I love being able to freely roam my basement without the cell. The audio quality is very nice. I'm a moderate audiophile and love the deep bass and clear highs. Overall sound is quite pleasing. People state that I sound very clear and I've had no issues with it picking up my voice. I'm working from home and have very moderate ambient noise. Noise cancelling is nice as it significantly reduces hums from furnace, fans, dehumidifier and traffic. When I'm not on a call from my cell I'm listening to spotify and I love it the integration and how I can hear notifications on cell while hearing music. I wear glasses and the fit is good...I looked all over for this piece of information and I hope that is helpful to someone else... Cons: The fit on my ears is tough. Some would say I have large ears...so keep that in mind. My ears hurt after about an hour of wearing it and I wear it all day. So every hour or so I have to pull both sides of my ears for a moment and then put it back on. I've tried adjusting it up and down and it just doesn't feel like a pillow all day. The Plantronics feel GREAT at first, but after a while it hurts. I've order the BackBeat Pro + to see if the feel is any different. I hope so, because I've not seen another product that has Bluetooth and USB integration. I'm hoping the "around the ear/over ear" design is more favorable.

I have had the Voyager Focus for about 6 months, they have been incredible to use every day and fit every need a person would want in a set of wireless headphones for work or leisure. Unfortunately the only problem with them is how they hang when you charge them it tends to weaken and put a lot of strain to a particular section right above the neck that holds the microphone which has caused mine to snap twice. Either make them a bit thicker or add some sort of pressure reliever to the hanging charging system to prevent the set from breaking. But as far as the quality of sound and feel of the set... It is top notch!

The setup was extremely simple, just plug in the USB Bluetooth and the computer did the rest. Only gripe that I have is the voice notification when turning on Mute. It would be nice to mute the microphone without hearing the voice each time, but not a real big deal.

I was just working at my home office desk listening to music streaming from the web, and my iPhone rang. I tapped the button on the headset to answer, had the conversation, hung up, then looked around for my phone. I finally located the phone upstairs, about 40 feet away! The range is fantastic with my phone, and seems to be even better with my laptop. The features are really intuitive, and the talk time is great. I usually go two full business days between charges. I replaced a corded headset from another manufacturer, and find the Voyager Focus to be much more solidly built and apparently more durable.

Entirely unusable for calls, and barely better for streaming music. It cuts out or is garbled constantly despite being no more than 3 feet from my laptop. When using them just as headphones for streaming pandora, it gets garbled often but sometimes works. When going for headset mode with the mic it's totally, consistently useless and garbled. Can't make out a word anyone is saying and they cant make out what i'm saying. I've installed their app, updated the firmware and drivers, used them with two different laptops and built-in bluetooth and the included dongle...all the the same result.

Most of these features do NOT WORK. This headset can't even be used with PC integrated Bluetooth. You should use their ancient USB plug (that is buggy too). On a top of that, NO customer support exists. They only react on negative feedback but do NOT BOTHER to solve any issue. Stay away from this company and its hype.

They keep the office sounds away from your conversation when you need to hear the customer. They last quite a while. I can be on my computer working but when I receive a phone call, it switches to my mobile phone automatically and then back again. Also, it is very lightweight and comfortable to wear. I built a new data center and was constantly in a high noise environment. I attended remote meetings in a high noise/high heat environment as well as listened to music via Bluetooth for 6 hours a day. The sound quality is remarkable, the device build quality was the best I've ever seen to date and the sound cancellation was excellent. Comfort wise, for a guy with sensitive ears, the pads were very gentle and the suspension pad made these comfortable to wear all day long.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not sure why I waited so long to buy this! This headset has proven to be everything i thought it would be and more. Super comfortable and adjusts to anyone's head/ears. Great range, I can walk anywhere in my house and no signal drop on call or playing music.Call quality is top notch, and others say they have no issue hearing me. After allowing the headphones to "burn in" music is sounding very good. Lots of bass. The "Active Noise Cancellation" does work a little bit. Not nearly as good as the BOSE headphones, but after using these on an airplane the ANC button does help quite a lot! Not needing to bring the docking station with me on work trips was a key point for me. Battery life is phenomenal, at least 2 full days of calls and music before needing to charge.

The bow adjustment is a bit limited for people with a small head. The noise cancelling is not that good. It works a bit, but voices around you sound like they are on speaker phone and noises aren't dampened a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All Day - Everyday! First I am a fan of Plantronics and honestly have used others as well. Coming completely clean my Voyager Focus is my go to when in the home office (I use a 5200 when traveling - I travel about 70%). As a remote worker - this set brings great comfort, excellent sound and transmit quality. Ear pads make the long conference call comfortable and when the call ends my music is right there with me. People on the other side complement the clarity of my voice and consistency of transmission. Plantronics (Poly) two thumbs up. My only ask is for a similar design (mono) I can travel with - safely use in rental car etc. Chime in Plantronics team! Please do. I highly recommend adding this to every road warriors go bag! You'll be happy you did!

It advertises 95 ft range but I'm unable to get any near that on either Bluetooth or USB. Works to about 15-20 ft before it gets choppy. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible UC (Unified Communications) Headset WOW ! I work for a large company that sells Unified Communications and we sell headsets from 3 vendors. In the last year I've tried about 15 different headsets and the Plantronics Voyager Focus is Incredible. It has all the features I need. The Active Noise Cancelling works very well. I haven't tried it on a plane yet but it does cancel out noises like Vacuum Cleaners, Car Engine Noises, Refrigerators quite well. The noise cancelling microphone is AMAZING ! I have an iPhone 6 and I called my wife with it in the car on the highway going 60 miles/hour with the windows open. With the iPhone or iPhone speakerphone, she couldn't hear a thing because of the wind, with the Voyager Focus, she could hear me perfectly and couldn't hear any wind. She said it sounded like I was at my desk with a Landline. I listen to music a lot and I'm on conference calls about 3-4 hours a day. The headset is super comfortable, has very clear sound and has a lot of features I like. (Plug and play dongle, Bluetooth, mute detection, truly reversible (Left/Right), mute when removed from your head, etc. With walls/partitions in my way, with bluetooth I can go about 20 feet from the base, with the dongle about 30 feet and the headset works flawlessly. I use a lot of Unified Communications Applications and Devices (MS Lync, WebEx, GotoMeeting, Live Meeting, OCS, SIP Phones) and the device works perfectly. I would recommend this headset to anyone ! For personal/work/contact center and even gamers as it the BEST HEADSET I'VE EVER HAD ! DT British Columbia, Canada

I can't even make it into the next room without losing reception. Also, I find the voice alerting me to on and off mute very distracting.

It is one of the most comfortable headsets I have ever used, and I have been through many. The ear pads are pillow soft and it does not squeeze on your head too much. The sound quality is far more than I needed for work but it is nice that I can use it for listening to music between calls without the music sounding horrible. I can not recommend this headset enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An attempt at perfection results in excellence I’ve been using this headset for about four months now. I fell in love with it on day one. Starting day two, I began taking it home with me from the office and bringing it back the next morning. The Voyager Focus UC’s ability to switch automatically between my office phone, cell phone, and computer, enhances my productivity more than I could have imagined. It just works. It is seamless. The battery life is truly robust. Furthermore, the audio quality of the headphones and the microphone are the finest I have encountered in a work-oriented headset. My much loved Office Runner now sits idly on my desk. That said, the Office Runner’s range far exceeds that of the Voyager, and there are many times when I could use the extra range. The delta in range, however, is a function of Bluetooth’s limitations and Plantronics cannot be faulted for this. The engineers behind this product truly strove for perfection and nearly achieved it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overpriced junk I've bought this one with the hope to use it for Skype. Well, it works. But not always. Controls do not work properly and it keeps muting my mic whenever it wants. I disabled sensors but it still doing that. Bottom line - another junk.

Many costing more than this Plantronics Focus, so when I got this from my IT team, I was skeptical. But wow! This is far and away the most feature rich, immersive headphones I've ever used. The active noise canceling is impressive in work environment, and the ability to pair with both PC/Mac AND your smartphone at the same time. If I had to design optimal headphones -- this would be it.

It sounds great, it feel good,even after wearing it all day. It's practical and useable alone or in a crowd. I love it!!

It is without a doubt the most versatile fully featured and perfect headset I have ever owned. I use it to run my home-based e-commerce business and can take calls while doing yard work, cooking lunch, shopping, working around the house, etc. The two-way noise cancelling works extremely well so everyone thinks I am working in a quiet office, while when I drive around town and listen to music and podcasts and take the odd call, I don't hear background noise. One of the best features is when I place the headset on my head an incoming smartphone call is automatically answered. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best All Around Headset I was fortunate to be a part of the beta testing for this headset. This is a headset that can do it all. I can spend 7 hours on the many conference calls I am on. My voice is clear and well heard, the mute function allows me to express my true thoughts without embarrassment, and it reminded me as soon as I tried to talk with it on -- very nice. As a UC device this was top notch. The bluetooth dongle that came with it also was a plus as if you're using a bluetooth keyboard, bluetooth mouse, you'll find your bandwidth limited and you'll find while listening to audio your mouse will be slow to move, or your keyboard non-responsive -- every bluetooth headset does this btw. The dongle solves this issue, to your PC it's just a USB audio device, and it uses it's own bluetooth stack to talk to the headset. After doing 7hrs of being on the phone, this headset worked well for the commute home. My commute to and from the office is an hour and a half, bus ride, and the headset had plenty of power. The sound was excellent. Very well blended, and offered strong bass without muddling the highs. I also had enough juice left in the headset to watch movies off my tablet -- again the sound quality was awesome. So the battery life after using it 10+ hrs, Bluetooth was simple and easy to pair. Controls were easy to navigate, and features like going on mute when you take the headset off, or while playing music you can push the mute button to allow outside sounds into your headset, or it figuring out how you put the headset on and maps the right and left ears accordingly. It's also very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from By far my favorite headset I've ever used! I go through headsets like crazy. I work from home and spend a good portion of my day on teleconferences. They'll work good at first but then the sound quality will plummet or the battery life runs out too quickly and I end up shifting between my headset and speaker phone - which isn't optimal. I've tried everything but have never been as pleased with a headset as I am with this one. It was the most expensive I've ever purchased but I suspect it will have a long life. I can hear who I'm speaking with and they can hear me as well. It's comfortable. It's wireless. I love the features that verify when you're on mute, if the headset is on or off, how much talk time is left in the battery. It's amazing. They've literally thought of everything! I think whoever designed this must use headsets an awful lot as well because I couldn't ask for a better product!

The noise cancelling is flawless, the sound is off the charts clear and the other features will make you one happy customer. Setup is easy and the linking to your computer is as simple as it gets. I use this headset while traveling and in my office with no issues whatsoever. It connects everytime and never misses a beat. I have used this device on Skype calls, watching You Tube videos, watching movies and give it a solid thumbs up !!! You will not go wrong purchasingthis headset !!! I just realized I can connect it to my desk phone [works with bluetooth enable new phones]

Also when I am playing a game called geometry dash the sound is ahead also that happens with youtube but all I have to do is pause it and play it again and it will be fixed.

I can wear these all day. The weak point on this headset is the plastics just above the ear phones. The plastic is very thin and breaks all the time. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for long haired people! The design of these headphones means that hair gets caught in them constantly when taking them off. Do the designers not think of these things or are they all bald? Apart from this hugely disappointing design fault they are great headphones in every other way.
