Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Case - Not a Great Case Otterbox cases have always been in the best in my opinion but this case isn't the best case that I have ever owned from Otterbox. In the upper right of the phone, I have a little gap and no matter what I do with the case, It won't go tight against the phone. I don't think it will cause any issues as far as the protection goes but it is not fighting as tight as an otterbox case usually does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worst customer service This is a joke right I get an email to write a review when I've been trying to return the case for days and have zero options to get ahold of CS. Returns page on site loops to warranty page, phone number not working due to COVID, chat is a bot, and email us form loops to itself. Very frustrating. I have no problems with the case itself other than the rubber part near power button is way too loose compared to commuter on other phones I've had.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent This is a cute protective case, but not impressed. The rubber casing within the hard shell is prone to getting dirty, especially since it's a light color. In my second day of owning the case it looked very dirty because I put it in my jeans back pocket and stained the rubber part dark blue, it was very disappointing. However, I was able to clean it up with nail polish remover. The rubber casing is also sort of loose by the volume/on/off buttons, which makes it feel less protected. I think the Symmetry Cases from Otterbox are the best for this phone.

The Commuter is perfect for me - good protection for the phone, and easy access to it, at the same time. OtterBox never fails me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Buy This Case! I have been an Otter box customer since the Note 5, however the design of this case is flawed! The plastic layer on the button side of the phone does not go high enough, causing a noticeable gap between the rubber portion of the case and phone after only one day of use. This leads to missed presses on the volume and power buttons. You end up pushing the wrong ones at least once every 5 times! See pic. Otter box, you need to fix this now!

Case came and seemed very cheaply made. Did not have that feel of protection that all the other cases have had. Phone would pop out of case easily as well. Instantly returned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 3rd time around. This is my 3rd Otterbox Commuter case and it is the best I've used. Otterbox Commuter is the first thing I buy right after I get a new phone. I tend to be clumsy and it has saved me from expensive repairs many times.

When I received this case and put it on the phone it doesn't appear to protect the screen nor the back camera lense. There just isn't much of a buffer between flat surfaces and my device. If I would have known I would have went with the defender series. Over all I love OtterBox and I have ALWAYS bought them for my phones with no complaints. This is my first disappointment and it's frustrating I'm going to have to buy another case at 60 dollars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flimsy and Ill Fitting This case is flimsy and does not fit well. The rubber on the top 1/2 right side of the case literally flops around when you touch it. Otterbox used to be great and has really gone down hill. Better cases on Amazon for 1/3 of the price. Returning ASAP.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great Fits well on my phone and seems to work very well. The phone itself was very slippery to hold, when I put the case on it the phone was much easier to hold on to. I like the area on the side of the case that makes it easy to hold on to. Haven't dropped it yet, so I can't say how resistant it is to damage from dropping the phone. Seems to be well built and able to withstand reasonable drops and bangs. My daughter recommended this case and I got it because of her. I am glad I did.

It is great and fits just fine, in stark contrast to what others have said about the fit. Importantly, it is light weight, so my phone is not unnecessarily heavy. The dark pink material is more spongy/flexible than the light pink part, but I suspect that is why it absorbs the impact well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Noticeable quality change vs note 10 + commuter. Just put this on my phone and the quality difference is easily noticeable. Thinner more plyable plastic and less protection than my note 10 commuter. So otterbox, did you start manufacturing to lesser specs?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does the job I bought this case about 3 months ago and it definitely does its job. The rubber is a little loose at the volume and power buttons, but that's to be expected for a quality rubber that's going to absorb impacts. What kind of bothered me was the fact I've never dropped the phone, haven't abused it in any way, and the little plastic piece that sits on top of the rubber flap at the charging port broke 2 weeks after I bought it. I've dealt with it for awhile now and have tried to find a way to file a warranty claim, but the warranty page doesn't list this phone for product selection! Hopefully somebody keeps an eye on this page and its reviews so they can relay this: coming from an engineer, strengthen that little plastic piece on these cases for further batches! It's the little things, ya know..

I wanted to use the warrantee but they don't have it available at the moment. So just be careful with it until they make it available for replacement. How they do soon before the wife needs it again.

But this particular Case is disappointing, it's flimsy on the sides and there's no hard shell on the first half of the sides to keep my Samsung Note20 Ultra protected. The lack of lighter colors for this particular phone is also an issue. So I had to purchase a light pale like Pink case, not very appealing. I miss the darker Berry and Pink or Red Cases OB used to have.
