We've used defender, symmetry and currently using commuter that allows us to charge wirelessly while still protecting the phone. We've dropped our phones and the cases are all built well. It's small enough that it fits nicely in a female hand and has the rubber sides to help grip.

Using this case (and a screen protector) I dropped my phone at least 20 times or more on hard surfaces, and though the case eventually cracked… the phone inside was completely untouched. It did not have one scratch or ding! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it has impacted my grip, so I frequently drop things… this will forever by my choice for which phone case to buy! Several times I dropped it on concrete… several… and my phone was totally protected. Worth every cent!! Thank you, Otterbox!!
