Very capable of playing loud, and it has the option to increase the bass substantially. The Bluetooth connection was quick and easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Blue Tooth Speaker I've heard ! I bought this speaker about 3 months ago, and I have to say that it certainly exceeds the expectations that I had for it. I should also mention that I consider myself an audiophile and I have also a high end stereo system that cost around 15 000 dollars back in the day. Let me review the Partybox 1000 it in terms of importance of its features. First is sound quality, and this is where the speaker really impresses. It is crystal clear sounding from the lowest lows (down to 30 hertz) to crisp mids and to crystal clear highs. The sound spectrum is across the audible frequencies of human hearing going from 30 Hz to 20 000. I would say that this speaker sounds crystal clear, dynamic and open. So sound wise it is simply the best blue tooth speaker that I have ever heard. I was at first a bit skeptical when I found out that it has only 1 horn tweeter, but rest assured that this 1 tweeter is more than capable of producing excellent high frequencies. Also the mids, due to its two 7 inch woofers make voices sound incredibly clear, while the lower end (a 12 inch woofer) produces massive amounts of bass, whenever needed. [The bass can be regulated to 3 different levels: regular bass, bass boost 1 & bass boost 2] Also this speaker gets really loud, a Youtuber did a test and claimed that with bass boost 2 on it reaches 122 decibels and without any bass boost it goes up to 120 decibels per meter. If that doesn't tell you anything than imaging being at a Heavy Metal concert in the front row; that is how loud this thing gets. The next important feature for me was the light show which is really extraordinary! The lights on this speaker are truly amazing. Next I want to mention build quality: this speaker is built in a fairly robust way and feels and looks like it will be quite durable. However, JBL is known for using a lot of plastic on their speakers so don't expect it to have any wood. Overall, I would say that the build quality is good enough for such a speaker. This thing also has many connection ports, for example you can hook up a guitar or a mic for doing Karaoke with this speaker. Also you can connect CD players, a TV or a tablet to it.. While the speaker is heavy (34.7 Kgs) it can be moved around easily due to the wheels on it. Playing this speaker has been a lot of fun and the light show enhances the listening experience. However, you need to be aware that this is a loud speaker with (if required) a lot of bass performance. I should also mention that the blue tooth connection of this speaker is great; I've never had any breaks in connectivity and some have mentioned that the blue tooth connection works up to 50 feet of distance, which is amazing. Overall, this speaker is definitely worth its price. It is actually amazing just how much sound comes out of just one of these speakers alone. I can only imagine how 2 of these wirelessly connected to each other would sound. But for me, living in an apartment complex, 2 would probably be overkill, and I believe that for most people having 1 of these is more than enough in terms of performance at home. So are there any shortcomings to this speaker? Well, for one thing it is not battery powered so it needs to be plugged in to an electric outlet to work. Also it does not have tone controls, however; this is not a problem because all players that can be downloaded on to your smartphone (for free) have in built equalizers on them. So for who is this speaker? I would say that music lovers that want to have great sounding blue tooth speakers should definitely check this speaker out. This is the biggest JBL blue tooth speaker, so if you think that this one is too big or loud for you JBL also has at least 3 smaller blue tooth Partybox type of speakers that you might find more suitable. Too make a long story short: if you want great sound, plenty of bass, a fabulous light show and a loud speaker then go for this one, you won't regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL YOU FINALLY MADE A AWSOME SPEAKER I bought two of these speakers. I was really concerned if it was a good purchase. All I can say is good job. I would gave it a 5 star if it would have connected to an App to control. I have a $15,000.00 Definitive Technology sound system, and my buddy has a $12,000.00 Klipsch system. These two party boxes were comparable to both of these systems. My review is done with music alone. All kinds of music. I was most impressed with the lack of distortion at high volumes. These speaks hang at max volume. Thanks for the great sound!

As they say, you get what you pay for, and this speaker doesn’t fall short. I’ve hosted parties, been invited to parties, and have been asked to DJ at two weddings just because of this speaker. I’m just tryna have a good time, but all this came from just having an exceptional outperforming speaker. If you’re an average music junkie, it could be a little much, considering it has a DJ pad, and USB allowing you to play your own beats off the customizable DJ pad, along with the mic and guitar inputs and manipulation knobs. To top off this insane performing speaker, it has the best light show you’ll see from any non commercial system. Full LED face... show me any other speaker! The bass is deep and powerful, most of the time people are wanting it turned down! It’s construction is sturdy and made of quality! The sound is always crispy and clear no matter how loud you play it. If had it blasting outside on 4th of July connected to a generator out in the middle of nowhere and people are star struck. If you’re serious about your speakers and audio output devices, then the price tag won’t stray you far when you read this review and realize it’s the best dollar I’ve ever spent to date... people try to buy this speaker from me constantly...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unmatched sound. But...... Purchased the partybox 1000 today 2/15/20 from Brandsmart and I couldn't be more impressed by the sound, and many cool functions. Worked perfectly fine for about 4 hours then the DJ buttons completely stopped working. They will light up and I can change the functions/color but I get no sound at all from the DJ buttons now. I did a reset but that didnt fix it. I'll definitely be returning this tomorrow morning. $1000 is to much money spent for this not to be working properly. I've packed it back up to return to Brandsmart. JBL please advise !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bad to the bone x2 I bought one kept it for 2-3 months I was seriously impressed (for a change) by a product, so I ordered another, I think for the first time in my life I feel like I over did it. They are so much fun and the quality doesn't feather and fade at max volume either, I might have payed a few bucks for them, but the old saying you get what you pay for stands true with these beasts, if they stand the test of time I will never see a reason to buy another sound system. Can't recommend these enough.

In this review, I will provide a breakdown of the speaker based on its key components: Appearance, Audio Performance, and Lights. Let's start with the Appearance of the speaker, which is visually pleasing. Its tall design allows it to stand out in any environment. The buttons on the top are well-organized, providing a better user experience without feeling cluttered. Moving on to the Audio Performance, which is arguably the most crucial aspect. I am thoroughly impressed with the speaker's audio quality. Regardless of the genre of music I listen to, I rarely find the need to use an equalizer due to the inherent high quality of the device. Although it can deliver excellent sound even at lower volumes, I highly recommend turning up the volume to fully experience the speaker's capabilities. Now, let's talk about the Lights feature. While the speaker excels in many areas, the lights are its weakest point, preventing me from considering it perfect. I would have appreciated more light options, or at least one option that doesn't react to the music. Additionally, the frequent color shifting of the lights can be bothersome when I prefer to keep them on a specific color. However, despite these drawbacks, the lights still serve their intended purpose and can certainly enhance any party atmosphere. In conclusion, this speaker is an excellent product that performs its intended function admirably.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing party speaker Bought this when it had a huge discount around black Friday. It is incredible. Also much bigger than I expected. Audio is very clear, not quite as high quality as a PA system but relatively close. The bass is ridiculous, especially with the two bass boost modes. Lighting effect is awesome, especially the flame variant. You will not only hear very loud and clear music, you'll also feel it in your body. Only negative comments I have about it are the DJ pad, in my opinion, is a gimmick, as well as lacking waterproofing. These are only very minor issues however and I'm not sure it'd be possible to make a speaker this large waterproof. I can't comment on durability but at least the 1 year warranty protects me for a while.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great amazing sound but.. I bought this in September 2019 , The first one the dj buttons starting making sounds while nobody was touching them . Returned it . Got a second one and it did it after a couple days use . Did it for 2 days or so and it was such a hassle to return it to Amazon that I gave up but it hasn't done the dj buttons since . So this second one was off to a rough start but fixed itself :/ i will say it has amazing power . I love it . I take it to the tailgates for football and everyone is amazed . You can feel the bass in your chest. Bad part is I wish I could turn the bass down a little lower for when I'm watching movies . The neighbors know when it's movie night haha

The bass response is something that I haven’t heard in a while with a speaker that you can buy. It’s like you’re actuqlly at a festival tent having music blasting your ears away. I can turn it up loud and the base does not drown out the words. I, be never had to use the bass boost as it shakes the room. I love to hear and feel my music. One is a lot, some would say too much. I purchased a second one.

Anyone wants to hear the low end on this unit then download TUNEIN on your cellphone, then search for GODFATHERS OF DEEPHOUSE RADIO and sit and listen to the Bass on this bad boy.

The two subwoofers on the front provide listeners with an iconic display of radiant colors mixed with circular motions that go with the beat of a song. Looks are amazing and pairing two speakers TWS works great (except they have a lot of delay). DJ pads are more of a gimmick but I sure can take them. Power is good. two speakers can handle my crowd of 100-150 people (maybe 200) persons depending on location. I would not recommend this speaker for personal indoor use, it is too powerful even at low volumes and bass can get tiering. extra feature it could have: water resistant, more rugged feet, side protection pads fall easily, bigger and more separated wheels, strobe light is dimm, more light show paterns maybe an app , wrist band is kind of usless but good looking( should also control volume and change song maybe), connection with other partybox models. dj pad sometimes presses itself with vibrations, EQ Still a 5 star as there is nothing like it on the market. Pros: 3 way speaker, bluetooth, powerful yet relatively small, light show like no other, wrist band good looking, great inputs, dj pads, reliable, TWS, powerful, lots of bass, no distortion, ease of use. Compared to pro speakers volume is not far from a similar priced one REQUEST TO JBL: PLEASE RELEASE A FIRMWARE UPDATE WITH MORE LIGHT PATERNS

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound! This speaker packs a punch! It sounds amazing outside in our yard and the sound carries clear across the pool and to the other side. The speaker is tall and heavy! I think the only downside is the wheels that its equipped with. The height and weight make it unstable when trying to move it on the little wheels. Be careful, it goes into a "death wobble"! Shipping was a disaster and the ETA was changed 3x. When it finally arrived, we were very happy.

It hasnt been used at 100% volume because its very very loud. And the bass is very strong and the whole house is shaking. Definetly a product i was looking for getting. 10/10.

It’s so loud and obnoxious AND YOU CANT TURN IT OFF!! How has JBL not figured this out??? What if you’re using these for a wedding or serious event?? The start up/connect/shut down noises NEED to have an option to be turned off!! Come in JBL this is ridiculous!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's expensive but worth it I've been running the 310 for my outdoor parties for a couple of years and I've been continually impressed. Now that I also have the 1000, things have been great! I live in a rural area, and one neighbor who lives a mile away can actually hear what I am playing. As loud as the 310 always sounded to me, the 1000 is Greatly louder. When I compare the two, I had to keep checking to make sure the 310 was turned up all the way bc the 1000 is so loud. The sound quality is great. It's a JBL, so when I play them together, things sound balanced. 4 stars because i can't TWS to the 310 and bc I can't use the JBL app with it. I connect to them using Bluetooth and use my media manager in my phone to control individual volumes or, I connect them together using an rca to 1/8" cord and just pair my phone to one speaker to control both. I had to "disable absolute volume" on my phone to get full volume output. The wristband is a little quirky and is a pain to use. I purchased in 04/23 and two days after, the price went up about $200. Not sure why. I bought it straight from JBL bc the price was the same as the retailers. They shipped UPS. It arrived fast and with no damage.

This speaker is very big and not the easiest to move but more practical than other speakers with this much power. Great sound and very loud with no distortion of sound. The lights are a great feature. The sample noises are okay and others might really appreciate them but not really adding much in my opinion. Very versatile speaker which can be moved around with relative ease when compared to a separate amplifier, speakers, wiring etc which would be as loud as this.

I thought ... let me treat myself and up grade.... so I bought the 1000. Didn't think the sound could get better .... it did! Oh my god, this is like the old school sound only much less equipment . The bass is second to none and clarity of the mid treble mix is not hindered ! It truly reaches the deepest baseline ever.

The feature on the actual speaker are very simple and easy to use. The wristband really didn’t appeal to me at all. It doesn’t seem very practical. The speaker is VERY heavy, while it does have wheels, this product will not be easy transporting around.

The sound quality is amazing, vocals very clear, bass is thunderous, and the light show can add just the right amount of flare. I took my partybox outside to play some music while washing my truck, when I looked down the block people where sitting outside nodding their head and jamming to my playlist. If you’ve ever wanted to know how it feels to be the DJ and wanted to hit the sound cues during your favorite songs heard the your chance. If your looking to have great sound in the house this is a must have. From personal use all the way to entering a back yard of guest and taking over the neighborhood. This is the speaker you want!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant sound! I bought this after a month wait. It's definitely worth it. The sound is Amazing. Sound quality is good when connected with mobile and laptops for songs. Whilst connected with fire stick to TV to watch prime movies, I must admit there is a low audio on dialogues. But there are AV settings to suit the best. Verdict is good for mobile and laptops for songs as they are designed.
