When I tried to print the labels they are completely crooked. I am no longer able to make labels. Also as someone else said the ink is telling you to replace the cartridge before it REALLY NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, When my old printer was running out of ink it would start to fade .... This printer just said REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE. I had just printed something and the black ink was perfect yet the printer would not let me print until i replaced it. THIS WILL BE MY LAST HP

It arrived on 12/3/18 and I returned it on 12/11/18...8 days later!! It was very fast printing. But it chopped off 1/2 inch of the trailing end of my documents. The ink was a nightmare too. I got refills at Costco and they worked for the first 250 pages, then the printer started giving me messages as to why it would not print. I do have to say that HP was very nice in the return process.

Rated 5 out of 5 byValGal112 from Disappointments in OfficeJet Pro 8710This product delivers good copies and is fast, but I miss the features of the OfficeJet Pro 8500A Premium which I had to replace after 5 years of good, hard work. The features of the 8710 lack the ease of use that I was used to with the 8500A, starting with the setup screen that is considerably smaller and difficult to use because of the size. I have to use a stylus to enter contact information and fax numbers because the keypad is too small. Also, It is cumbersome to load paper as you have to push in the copy tray (where the copy exits the machine) to get to the paper drawer. The 8500 had me spoiled because I could access the drawer easier as it was just "right there" and not buried under the copy tray. I'm sure I will get used to these changes, but after having the 8500 for so many years, the features on the 8710 seem like a step back instead of an improvement.

Time will tell if the print head failure of the HP printers I have had in the past happens again with this one.

This feature saves me a lot of shopping time and the cost is reasonable. HP does a very good job for cartridge replacement.My HP printer is less than a month old and it does a great printing job. Haven't tried the picture setting yet but hope it is as good as the old HP printer.It has helped me immensely with the personal business letters I have had to write to various business.
