Rated 5 out of 5 by from A decent product when it works When I ordered this printer I thought It was wireless. Find out you have to be certain to order the DW or it is not wireless. Had to connect to our network with a network cable. Now it only works intermittently. Spent 4 hours on-line with an HP Support person whose English I could barely understand. End result product still does not work and he could only tell me to get someone else to work on it. I've had this printer nearly 4 months. Finally went out and bought a $99 printer that is wireless and it works just fine. I still would like to get this one to work for all the features it offers, but after 4 months, I have to move on to something that works when I need to print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Printer Great choice for an office printer. I upgraded from a smaller model and this printer is fantastic. It's really big, so you have to have plenty of room - but from a speed and automatic duplex perspective it is exactly what I needed. When I send a print job it is out and sitting there in a few seconds, no warming up/wakeup. Auto duplexing is a great paper saver and I think this feature is a must.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great features, but printer constantly freezes This printer has a great set of features and would be an excellent printer if it actually worked. I bought one, and immediately started having problems. At least twice a day, if not four, fix, six times a day, the printer needs to be completely power cycled. Sometimes it fails to completely wake up from sleep. When this happens, the printer will "feeze" and not print or respond to touch controls. Other times, when I'm copying using the document feeder, it will scan the first page in and freeze on the second page. When this happens, the printer will respond on the touch panel but it will not print/scan/copy/fax. This also needs to be power cycled. This gets extremely frustrating when I have customers at the counter waiting for their paperwork and the printer is constantly acting up. I figured it must of been a problem with the specific printer I had, so I returned it and bought another one new in box. I have the exact same problems with the second printer and started immediately out of the box. I tried running the printer as is when I received it, and also flashed the updated firmware available from HPs site which made zero difference in how it operated. It's a great printer when it works and prints fast, especially in Duplex mode, but which the daily, sometimes hourly freezes, I can't recommend anyone to buy this printer. Talking to HP customer service was no help in getting the printer fixed either. Basically told me to have someone service the printer, but I shouldn't have to service a brand new printer, especially when I had two in a row with the same problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrible printer. Do not buy Less than a year old. Has factory reset itself twice, losing all setup fax phone numbers, and email history. Also has frequent problems with not printing and have to reboot to make work. JUNK

Unfortunately I have experienced some of the same issues as some of the other more recent reviews. The product features are great when they work. Unfortunately I have had to power cycle the printer numerous times in order to print, parts have already been replaced under warranty due to paper misfeeds during duplex printing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love it! I upgraded from the HP 2550 DN. I had that machine for quite some time, and hope to have this one just as long. I have currently set up everything but the scan to a network drive feature, and was able to free up space by making this my copier and fax machine. It is quiet, easy to plug into the network and get started, and the print quality is great! This machine has given me the ability to do everything from my office in one place (copy, scan, fax, etc.). I would highly recommend it as I have not found a problem yet.

Setup routine found 570 with no problems. All functions (print, copy, scan, fax) available to each device on the network. Makes good copies direct from printer control panel - no connection to PC required. Using HP Color LaserJet 24# paper. No paper jams in 6 months of use. Duplexing works great. No problems with sheet feeder. Would like to have more speed, but really nice unit for the price.

I'm really starting to have an issue with your printing products. This is the second printer I've purchased within a 3yr period that has gone bad extremely early.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Limited color; Envelopes scratch transfer roller. Printer o.k. for b&w and few color copies. But >100 color copies, the image smears on the Secondary Transfer Roller. Don't use envelopes! The adhesive gums-up and scratches the Secondary Transfer Roller. I tossed my $1k printer in the dumpster. What will I do with several hundred dollars worth of toner cartridges?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Printer exceeds expectations Easy to set up on a home network and all the software seems to work well over the network. No need to set up as a local printer. Very fast printing and have been very impressed by the quality of color reproduction. Almost photo printer quality if you use high quality paper or photo paper. The printer also shuts down quickly when a job is done so that there is no continued noise. Scanner and copy feed works well and there is easy access to paper trays including the manual feed from tray 1. Have had it only one month but the printer seems well designed and sturdy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from wanted to love this mfp, but... This MFP M570 has all the features I was looking for, which replaced a Konica Minolta bizhub C351. Unfortunately, on day one, and after multiple hours with tech support, this machine's scanning function is quite poor, compared to what it replaced. I've had this MFP AIO for two and a half weeks. While this machine is a modest price, you do get what you pay for, I suppose. Will return, and replace with a commercial machine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great printer for the price Dear HP, Thank you for your lovely and inexpensive toner! I <3 my M570dn printer! After having owned this toner-based printer for 3 months now, I don't think I'll ever buy an inkjet again. Superficially, and as I naively thought before doing my homework, "the cheaper the printer, the more money I keep". But I woke up when my former bottom-dollar HP ink jet gobbled up ink like a kid eating candy on Halloween. When you make such a beautiful printer as the M570dn, why sell anything but one like this which might be the next champion to knock out your competition? * Unlike inkjet, my beautiful toner printer DOES NOT eat up cartridges when I'm not using the printer. I am so grateful and relieved. * The color is fabulous for my needs. * I simply wanted good fast prints with the lowest possible pennies per page. And I am convinced that's just what I got too. * I feel like I didn't pay too much more than the price of toner itself, so I didn't have to worry about my up front costs. * Unpacking was pretty decent though for size I definitely took time to prepare and get a few extra hands to help me putting it where I wanted it. I had to reseat a toner cartridge in addition to following instructions to remove all the packing knobs and tape. I figured out how to re-seat the toner from looking at the ones that were already seated properly. After that, setup went quite smoothly. * 1 CAT5 cable, a respectable amount of desk space, a surge protector, and a trip to the HP website for each computer got me up and running quickly. * I love the options provided by the consumer apps and by HP e-print. My kids and I enjoyed the Angry Birds printouts. * My wife had to hurry and copy an insurance card. She happened on the ID copy which scanned and merged the images of both sides without a wasted print for the first side. Thanks! Matt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy setup on network We bought this a month ago and so far she has performed well. Faxes come and go (you can faintly hear the fax tone so that is helpful). Scans are relatively clear, though not as clear as our old Canon ImageRunner. Prints are a hearty black clear font, or in reasonable color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does not support SMB2 or SMB3 This printer only supports SMB1, which Microsoft has disabled on Windows 10 and Windows 2012R2. HP will not release new firmware to support SMB2 or SMB3. Other than that, if your using the USB cable or plan on not using the scan to network feature, this printer is great and fast.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Consistantly has major errors Despite having most of the typical features you would expect from a printer in this price segment, the MFP 570dn lacks in the most basic features like... being able to replace toner without major problems. Our office purchased four of these units and purchased several replacement toner cartridges directly from HP. Every time a cartridge was replaced, it never showed full capacity, and often times would not print at all.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from first thought Do not know how well the product itself works yet so I give it a 3-star for now.. I just opened the box and try to set up the printer. I am very disappointed to find there is no USB cable came with the printer, which means I cannot finish the setup until I buy a cable. Why can't HP includes a cable with a printer that is priced at $850? It is needed to connect to the computer for printing. I tried to call customer service and got disconnected and the tech never call me back, so I think it was a deliberate hang up.

In fact, it has lots of features that you'd see in a $2000 HP printer. The scanner is first rate. The copier is also very good. It has expandable hinges on the copy lid, making it a snap to push down large books with the cover, allowing for smoother copies. The feeder works well. The automatic duplexer is really functional, and helps me save paper on rough drafts. The color is accurate. The only issue is ink cost, but the capacity of the standard cartridges will keep me going for at least a year.

I have used HP Laser printers in my businesses for nearly 20 years so I went ahead. Printer has been very good - I like the additional features compared with my previous printers (scanning; email). Only (minor) issue is that I needed my IT Support guy to set it up for me; setup is neither easy nor intuitive. But overall works for me very well.

Connected via cable printer works fine through connected to router. I have 2 older HP wireless printers working fine. Had to set this new printer next to router, BAD INSTRUCTIONS!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Power failure early in life of machine I purchased the same machine for a small medical office and the power failed at 15 months, 3 months out of warranty! The cost of getting qualified tech support to look at the machine and then to purchase and install a new power supply converter (my assessment after working thru the trouble shooting algorithm) I decided to buy the same model again so I can have replacement parts on hand. Maybe this is the definition of insanity, repeating an action expecting a different result.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great print quality; temperamental machine The prints that come off the machine look great. We've printed more than 10,000 pages in the three months we've had the printer. So if you're willing to reboot the printer every few days and fully unplug/restart it every few weeks, then go for it! But it definitely is a temperamental machine. It will print fine for a few days and then someone will send a job that the printer does not like and it will sit and process the print job, but not print it. You can cancel the print job and send it to another printer, but then it seems like it still sits thinking about the job it just cancelled. And there comes in the reboot. Turn it off, turn it back on, and all the leftover job fragments clear out. Every few weeks, however, it takes a little bit more: a full turn off, unplug the machine, wait a minute, plug it back in, and then turn it back on. If the print quality was not good, I probably would be looking to return the printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great if you love pushing power buttons I'm about six months in on this model, and I agree exactly with Tee123. Not encouraging to see that review is three years old. In that time evidently HP has failed to make it any more reliable. It's a great printer when it works, but it locks up constantly. A new one today - printer woke from sleep and touchpad was responsive, but wouldn't launch the Copy task. Power cycle required. Sometimes it fails to wake from sleep. Power cycle. Sometimes it completes a print or copy job and then hangs. Power cycle. Sometimes it's some other random thing. Power cycle. It's impossible to tell whether this is a software problem, if they have an issue with factory QC, if maybe some component is exceptionally sensitive to static electricity, or something else. Who knows. What I do know is that I'm tired of having to restart it every time I need to print something!
