Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor Quality This lasted for about 10 charges and does not work anymore. I have to get a replacement. But it is vital to recharge the unit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasted less than a year. Unsuitable for anything mission-critical, better suited for casual use. Bought a new 1500x as an in-line power source for a video camera recorder, and it came with this charger. It lasted 9 months before it stopped charging the battery. I thankfully have a spare 220w charger that I could use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Began Smoking I've had this as a part of the expansion tank module to charge the expansion tanks fro.my Yeti 6000X. The blue light was blinking, but then I started to smell something like burn plastic or rubber. Within seconds, white smoke started coming out of both sides. I'm glad I was already there to unplug it when it started smoking because I was leaving for a trip the next day. I unplugged everything before I left, kinda scary.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Mine lasted for 1 year (indoors exclusively) Mine that came with a yeti1500x only lasted for one year. Almost $2000 total purchase price for them. I plugged it in to charge and it made a loud pop on the inside of the brick like something threw. The green light stayed on but it didn't charge. I then tried a different outlet on a different electrical zone and it started charging for about one full second before causing a loud pop at the outlet when it threw and the green light at the brick went off...permanently. It no longer lights up at any outlet at my home or work office. That second outlet in my house no longer works now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let see how much they last... I live in Puerto Rico. I have to order them. Have them shipped to Los Angeles. My daughter then ships them to my home address. There is no Goal Zero dealer in PR. There is no way to service inverters in the island. Wish something could be done solve our dilemma... I'm the proud owner of 4 inverters, two down, two working... Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lasted less than a yeat Unfortunately my power supply also lasted less than a year for my 200x. I've had it plugged in except for maybe 3 times in th last 11 months. Went to check my 1000x and 200x before th coming storm and my 200x was only at 59% with the power supply light off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very short lifetime This came with my 1000X package. It is about twice the power of the old ones (around 120 watts). As marked it is very hot when using. Worked fine before it burned out after about 4 months of use. So presumably the heating is leading to fairly rapid failure. The old product with half the power does last considerably longer although I recently had one of these fail but after some years of use.
