I added the 1 TB SSD to a Lenovo P50 laptop, giving me a total of 1.5 TB of SSD and 1 TB of HDD. No need for a new computer yet!

Just the latest of several Crucial SSDs I have purchased
This is a 2nd SSD that I added as an upgrade to a recently purchased Dell laptop. It doubled my storage capacity, and has performed flawlessly to date. I would recommend Crucial SSDs to other.

Bought this to upgrade from a hard drive. It's like having a new computer. Excellent instructions and cloning is a snap unless you have a Dell. Dell tends to enable SATA RAID which complicates things.

I would have given 5 stars if helped resolve my issue.
I bought this product to replace the drive in a computer that blocked opening. Replacing drive didn't help resolve issue. Customer service couldn't help with my dilemma.

Got this as my 2nd NVMe drive. 1st is only 120GB and is for boot and high importance stuff. This is for other general storage. However it's incompatible with Asus Aura and support didn't know that

Works well, but didn't transfer files at advertised rates.
It works well, but doesn't transfer files at advertised rates of 3400MB/s. The real speeds were nowhere near that. I get for a moment up to 1000MB/s transfer speeds. Then it drops to around 200-300MBps.

Exceeded R/W Expectations -- Software is great!
With 10% Over Provisioning and Momentum Cache enabled, I'm getting 9200+/9100+ MB/s sequential read/write speeds utilizing Crystal Disk Mark. The Crucial Storage Executive software is extremely useful and easy to use. Highly recommend this product for any PCIe Gen3x4 -- currently utilizing as a secondary drive for game storage.

I upgraded from a 1 TB hard drive that was in my 2018 hp omen desktop. This turned my pc into a processing beast! Time to boot is less than thirty seconds up from ~2 minutes. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

Simple and Efficient Upgrade
My HDD was taking 5-7 minutes to boot up and I was looking to replace it with an M.2 SSD. The replacement and cloning of the HDD was simple and effective. Computer now boots up in 30 seconds.

Please read this:
The cloning process was a problem. I went to an external companies software as well as had to use the Microsoft recover process. I tried for days without running Microsoft recovery and as soon as I called Crucial for support they recommended that and it came up immediately (I wish I had called earlier). The read/write speeds are extraordinary (I used CrystalDiskMark 8). Running 4.9k MB/s read / and 5.5k MB/s write consistently. So here is the trick - clone and use Microsoft restoral and you will be VERY happy.

Currently I have installed this as a secondary drive. I always buy Crucial memory and SSD drives whenever I can because they are always good and I never have any problems with them.

This is a rip-off to anyone that is new to the gaming laptop community. First, I tried to install the cloning software, but I could never get it to run. None of the materials provided by Crucial are helpful either in setting up the SSD. If anything they are more confusing. I had the proper casing and everything to do the cloning but it would never run. What made me upset the most is that I took it to a computer shop to try and resolve the issue, but even they could not figure it out. They said that the firmware on the SSD would not allow them to install it on my PC. I ended up paying almost the price of my laptop to try and install this SSD. I am very disappointed and will not be purchasing any more Crucial products.

Use it in a laptop but it would not work and there tech said it was a third party error my butt it was not the problem took to a desktop shop and they could not get it to work either $234 wasted on chips

Crucial products work great in my Dell XPS15 laptop
Took two tries to replace my 256 SSD factory installed by Dell in my 9550 XPS15 laptop but wasn't the fault of Crucial, rather the "Plugable" brand housing I bought to perform the cloning was defective. They replaced very quickly and with the new housing both the cloning process and the installation worked perfectly. Once cloned, removed the 256 SSD and replaced with new Crucial 1TB SSD and booted right up with zero problems. Happy with the results.

You advertise that you provide software to clone the existing hard drive. The software doesn't work and no support. I ended up having to purchase software to do it. Don't advertise a feature that doesn't work nor have any support.
