Only JEDEC standard DRAM but very good for its purpose.
As this RAM is entirely JEDEC standard, it can replace any original DDR4 DRAM in major brand PCs, and at any speed from 2133 to 3200 MHz. The timings will be set automatically. Crucial's reliability is similar to other brands of DRAM provided in these PCs. The choice is then guided by price and availability. This is why I frequently choose Crucial.

Working perfectly in a Synology DS920+ for a lot less money
Used in a Synology NAS (Network Attached Storage). Memory through Synology is more than twice the price, but Crucial works perfectly.

Easy way to add some pep to an aging computer
My computer came with 8gb of ram and it was really dragging when using VM for telework. There was an lot overall lag and the fans were running at full speed for long periods of time. After upgrading to 16gb, my computer is far more snappy. Logging into VM and carrying out general tasks are more "normal." The fan's barely turn on during normal usage, while logged into VM. I'm really happy with this cost effective and simple to do upgrade.

I bought 16 gig kit for my Acer computer that the website said was compatible I received it early October 2021 and it was not compatible I returned it less than a week later and never got a refund

It's unacceptable that you could end up with 2Rx8/1Rx8/1Rx16. They all share the same sku and you won't know what you get until your order arrived. There is a vast difference between 2Rx8 and 1Rx16

Great Ram no issues.
Like with anything you must ensure compatibility. There different type of SODIMM at various clock speed. It work well with my Dell Inspiron 15 3511 Laptop. No issue. I will be using this ram for all my upgrades.
