Booted up immediately with new memory which was recognized by the system with no problem. Multiple apps run more smoothly now. This memory brought this older computer's memory level from 1 Gb to 4 Gb which was great for this computer, a 2007 white Macbook used primarily for school and personal work.

One spinning wheel after another. The memory alone made it better than when it was new. I also added a 250G SSD and I'm very impressed with the performance.
