Great in daylight, not good in lowlight, great for price
Have had this camera for 9 months. Its a really great beginner camera due to the price. Performs really good in the daylight but in lowlight and night situations its really really terrible. Although its not good, this camera really pushes your editing skills (if you edit your own photos) for when you upgrade yo

Great Pictures.
My boyfriend’s grandpa bought this for him but he doesn’t take pictures so I’m using it and I love it. Still trying to figure out the settings.

New camera
I have always had canon camera. My last one was T6 and just got the T7. I had the chance to use it this past weekend and get baby shower pictures. Everyone loved them and how they came out. The quality and image is so nice and clear. I would recommend this camera.

I’ve been using my T7 for a little over a year, and I love it. It’s my first “real” camera. Best first camera ever
I bought this camera a month ago as my first “real” camera and I have used it nearly every day since I got it. I really like it. So far it’s been durable, it takes way better pictures than I’d been expecting, it’s reasonably easy to learn to use.... I’m really happy with this purchase

Simply a basic camera in case my main camera fails for some reason. The 2 zoom lenses were a double plus for me. All in all I couldn’t pass this gem up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An emergency replacement received for Christmas, 2019 Altho this is classed as an entry level camera, having past experience with the EOS40D, EOS5D MK 2, I went straight to the regular menus. I'm beyond impressed with this camera. I was going to repair the EOS5D, which was damaged but after experiencing the dual-pixel focusing and other features, saw no need to do repairs on a camera that didn't match the T7i. Major advancements in many areas, I'm keeping this one!

Unable to use my PocketWizards also unable to shoot remote wirelessly. I would like to know if Canon has a wireless system compatible with the T7??? I will continue to be a Canon customer.

Being able to pop my images to my phone or drive while on a job is amazing, and I realize I should have invested in this when it first came out. The quality is amazing, and I'm looking forward to the next set of cameras released from Canon.

I think I should have gone with the one lens kit, and bought a better telephoto lens separately. I'm a true novice and it took one trip out to want a lens with stabilization. Also...I had an issue with Amazon Pay. Once I realized there was an issue, Cannon took care of the problem, but I had to call to question why the order wasn't shipping. Be wary if using the Amazon Pay function.

I've been using Canon cameras since 1978 when I got my first 35mm body and have been away from photography for almost 10 yrs and decided it was time to upgrade my older digital Rebel kit to have something both easy to carry around and not be limited by what our phone cameras could do (which has always been a LOT, honestly, they are no doubt amazing for what they do). I have not created any brilliant or memorable artwork yet, but have been really happy with the camera, and especially the 70-300mm lens, which makes a HUGE difference over my older 70-200mm which I had been using since 1988 from my original EOS 35mm. Obviously from both the weight of the camera AND the range, but it the AF has been super-responsive and accurate. EASY, EASY, EASY to use and very competent!

When I take videos there are spots all over, can't clean it, and when shooting against a light background, spots! I tried to clean it but no go. When I take videos I have to make sure there's no water or sky involved or you will see the same spots!

It's been over a month and I still can't download my photos. IMAGE Quality sucks for the price! My Iphone has better quality and zoom features than this! It has the basic lens that you will need so that you don't have to purchase additional equipment right off the bat. I did get some additional equipment for mine so that I can take ultra-wide angle pictures and then i prefer different neck and hand straps. Overall a great kit. Would have been nice for Canon to provide a simple SD card but its fine that there was not one.
