SUPER PIECE OF GLASS
I JUST UPGRADED TO THIS LENS FROM A 15 YEAR OLD 17-40 F4L.THE 17-40 WAS A WORK HORSE AND PRODUCED SOME AWESOME IMAGES. THIS LENS PS IMPROVED IN SO MANY AREAS. I KNOW IT WILL PRODUCE EVEN GREATER I,AGES.

Received the lens with a big scratch on the front. Which is quite strange since the lens shipped with lens cover on and inside lens bag. No possible way it was damaged in transit. Awesome! Only wish I hadn’t tried to go cheap initially; I originally bought the 17-40mm f/4 L. I was unhappy with its lack of sharpness as compared to my 70-200mm f/2.8.
