No cord included. Wish I'd known before I bought
Very disappointed to pull it out of the box and find there's no power cord included, but there's an place to attach one to the machine. There is reference to a cord in the included instructions, but no cord exists. The instructions also say no batteries included, but NO WHERE does it say NO CORD INCLUDED, and you have to pay extra to actually use the machine. Seriously? Who sells a product without a cord?? Now I have to go out and buy batteries, which creates waste. That is a lousy rip-off. Include a cord and charge what that costs to include. Or make it clear on the package that we have to buy the cord at the same time (hopefully the retailer sells them) so we have a working product to use at a client.

QUALITY.
Quality! That's the word that comes to mind when I think of Brother products, and this one doesn't disappoint. I feel that if I purchase a product I should expect that the company has done its due diligence that the product is well made, uses the software that does the job, is user friendly (meaning that the software is intuitive), and produces a product that does what it says it will do. Brother does not disappoint. I am thrilled with this product. I wasn't expecting the quality and user friendliness. Thank you, Brother!

I got this to get more organized now that I work from home most of the time. This is nice and compact so it doesn't take up a ton of space. It was really easy to set up, and I love having a full keyboard to use. Super efficient.

Now I label everything!
I use this to label when I stored food in the freezer. I use this to label parts from furniture. I use this everyday now because it is just so convenient. I have the worst handwriting so this really helps a lot.

Big fan of this label maker. Super easy to use. love the full keyboard so I can type out what I want versus scrolling through the alphabet for each letter on smaller label makers I've used before. Helps my husband make sure things go back in their right places because he knows what's supposed to go where with my labels.

Easy to use!

Game Changer!!
We have been using the Brother P-touch PT-D220 Home / Office Everyday Label Maker for just over a month and we are very impressed. We now have labels on just about everything...lol! This has made getting the garage and kitchen so much easier... The labels are very durable and come in many different colors. I would highly recommend this label maker to both friends and family.

Easy to use & endless options
I always fear label makers because I think they can be complex. Not this one. I really have enjoyed using it to label items in my craft room, storage attic and pantry. I use to use Sticky Notes for my labels but those fall off. I use masking tape for my totes but that too looks messy and the tape dries out. I like to label everything so me and the kids can find stuff easily but also we can avoid just 'dumping' items because we do not know where to put them. This machine is so easy to use and has really helped me organize. I like the wider tape so I can see the labels from afar. This machine has lots of options as well so you can get creative. Next up is my office!

Great for organization
I used the P-touch label maker to label EVERYTHING! It came in handy when I moved my mom in, she had issues learning where everything was so I labeled EVERYTHING. I typed multiple words on one label and cut between the words to save labels. Example, Sugar (space Rice (space) Coffee and so on and then cut the words out. It seemed to use less tape. The kids have used this to label notebook and folders as well. This is a great organizing tool for organized fanatics!

Talk about being happy to have this in my life this is a game changer in your house or your office or anywhere II love to use it to make labels for all my containers this was easy to operate turn it on it's ready to go the labels come out perfect there's no leg at all doesn't take too long so easy to use and had no issues no matter how many letters that I wanted to you on a label it didn't give me any issues what's up Bright screen easy to read no issues

Useful and fun
I can remember using these even as a kid and always wanted one. Brother has always been a trusted product and this version is so easy to use. We printed labels for all of our boxes and totes in storage and the quality of the label and the fact they adhere securely makes it a great product to have on hand.
I have also labeled our herbs and plants both on their jars and on wooden stakes.

Easy to use!!
I love this label marker!! It’s so easy to use. The half inch size is great for labeling files or school notes. It’s so much fun to find new uses for this! I used it over the summer to label my son’s stuff when he went to camp. I’ll probably get another one to do larger labels too one day for my pantry!

Definitely a highly recommended item that everyone should have. Great for labeling bins and containers! Choose from numerous fonts and adjust sizing if needed! Comes with a sample pack of labels but batteries are not included, so remember to purchase those also!

Awesome Label Maker!
I have the worst handwriting, so I use a label maker whenever I need to make files. The Brother P-Touch D220 is by far the best one I have ever owned. It has so many different options that it is much more than just a standard label maker. You can choose from four different label widths. You can also get different color label tapes. Honestly, the quality of the labels printed is fantastic. The color does not fade, and the adhesive is strong. They can stick to pretty much anything. There are also so many fonts, frames, symbols, and templates to choose from, making it fun for even my kids to use.

Keep me organized
Easy to set up and use, great organizing tool for my art studio, used to label all baskets in my craft room and my wife uses it in kitchen to organize her spices and condiments. It can be personalized to fit anything you want to label. Easy to setup and change cartridges. Nice selection of borders, characters, fonts, etc. I found that there was a bit of a learning curve to get what I wanted on the label. This machine has a nice selection of attributes to make professional and easy to understand labels. I find this machine is perfect for my requirements. This label maker is an organized person's dream come true.

This thing has been a life saver of labeling cords and what goes to what so I’m not crabbing wrong sharing cords or unplugging things I shouldn’t. The process to make is super fast and easy on the go.

Flawlessly in every respect. Yes, including battery life. I learned how to use that built-in tape separator thing on the unit and it actually works quite well. It's quick and easy to use. I now have three colors of label tape and you can switch cartridges so easily you won't believe it. It's so quick and simple to pull one out and just stick another one in there. No threading the tape through rollers or anything like that. No loss of tape whatsoever, no loose ends of tape dangling out of cartridges. Just a very neat and clean system. Excellent design. I really cannot say enough good about this little machine.

Easy to use, but wastes tape
I just received this label maker through Amazon and it was very intuitive to set up and use. Seems like a well-designed unit. My only gripe is that no matter how you set the margins, the labels always come out with one inch of blank tape that you end up cutting off and discarding. Very wasteful and that part of the design forces me to give a 3-star rating.

Why would you sell me a product with no ac cord to plug the product in? It says SUGGESTED 6 AAA batteries but it should say requires 6AAAbatteries not included, and AC ADAPTER NOT INCLUDED. if I would of known there was no ac adapter I would of got batteries.

This label maker did everything I needed it to. The screen and buttons are easy to read. Several different options for use. Takes 6 triple a batteries. It comes with just a sample tape roll so make sure you purchase more. This worked great labeling items around my house.

Never knew I needed this so much!
This is great to help you organize! It’s easy so easy to use. I never realized I needed this until I can see what this label maker can do. I like how you can change the font and size. There are even symbols saved and saved templates available. You can save ones you already created as well. There’s an adapter you can use but it doesn’t come with it. I need to purchase this as well. Great for personal and home use! I am already using this organize my containers. Next for files as I work from home.

Great way to organize
The Brother P-touch D220 Home and Office Everyday Label Maker is a great way to organize your home and also helpful with kids labels. It was very simple to set up, just insert the tape included and 6 AAA batteries and it’s set to go. The instruction are easy to follow with pictures included. I love that there are 14 font options, and many templates and symbols. The label maker comes with white tape but has variety of label tapes available. I purchased pink for my daughters school supplies for when she’s going back to school. I love how much more organized my home and office is now after using the label maker. This is a great way to simplify and organize, the machine is easy to use and its small size makes it convenient to keep near for making additional labels as needed. I’ve really enjoyed using it for my home organization and my daughters school supplies.

Good label maker
There is a lot to like about this little label maker: it is small and portable, it can run on batteries or a plug*, you can change fonts - it has several options built in, plus icons, and it was easy to use right out of the box without reading instructions. There were just a couple of small things that disappointed me: the tape cartridge it comes with is a "starter", so it will run out really quickly and you need to buy a full one; and it doesn't come with the DC adaptor it has an outlet for. So you have to separately buy the plug if you don't want to use 6 AAA batteries. I guess these were cost savings measures, but disappointing nonetheless on an otherwise great product.

Love It!!!
Love my brothers touch label maker. I'm so organized now. Love the way it prints and sticks. The typing is large enough to see being a senior and the cutter is perfect. I'm so much more organized then I ever was.

The DISPLAY is AWFUL. Can't Read it. NO adjustment
The DISPLAY is so light, it is USELESS. There is NO Adjustment.
I have an older BROTHER P Touch. It is much better and has NO Backlight.
I am Returning this PT-D220 as it is UN-Usable.
The Tape adjustment does NOT work.
You WASTE LOTS of Tape at the Beginning and end of the Labels.
The Directions are very difficult to follow and are printed on a very LARGE folding piece of paper.
I do NOT recommend this Labeler. My old Brother Labeler is much better.
The only reason I bought this one was for the EZ separating Tape. That part is Great.
The Specifications say it has (5) Font SIZES, It ONLY has (3)
Brother Tech Support is USELESS and OVERSEAS.

Love the device but the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Instructions fold out to a great big sheet with very tiny type. Makes it very difficult to find the instruction you need. Love all that the printer can do once you can figure out how to do each thing. This is our third or fourth version of the printer. ONLY complaint is the instructions get worse each version instead of better.

Great product, even better Company.
This company is great. I bought a label maker that just quit working the second time I tried to use it. I contacted Brother and they gave me tasks to reset it and when they didn’t work they replaced it for me. My new one works great and I love it.
