What do you like best about the product?

The box is great internal platform for storing and sharing some project information once is setup correctly. Great ability to restrict or modified access privileges to any user and very helpfull when sharing information with people involve in the project. The platform is very easy to be used and when setting up the platform you can always play around and explore what suits to you the best as a Admin or how to make life easy to your project team members. Also great for integration with Autodesk BIM 360 and ACC

What do you dislike about the product?

What do you like best about the product?

The ease and security of sharing links and files with others. I like the ability to edit in app and the sync features makes my files available anywhere.

What do you dislike about the product?

The pricing is a little bit much for small businesses. If it was more comparable to other competitors I would consider renewing.

What do you like best about the product?

We used this for architectural and design services. I like that I was able to work on shared files simultaneously with a colleague. We used excel integrated with box and could co edit specifications and schedules for a very large project. It was also very easy to send files to clients and other disciplines. We used this daily for over a year with no problems, and I would certainly recommend it for smaller oeprations.

What do you dislike about the product?

The syncing for offline use could improve. It is not as easy to manage what files are always accessible on your computer.

What do you like best about the product?

personal assistant—with zero attitude. Clean folder structure, slick collaboration tools, and I don’t have to babysit files. The interface is intuitive enough that even my tech-challenged coworker can handle it (shoutout to Gary). Most helpful? Definitely the ability to share files without a mess. I can send docs, images, or full project folders with just a few clicks—no guessing games, no "where’d that file go?" panic. Oh, and version history? Life-saver. Especially when someone “accidentally” overwrites my work. Upsides of using Box? It’s secure, reliable, and makes me feel like I actually have my stuff together. Whether I'm working solo or with a team, it keeps the flow smooth and the stress low. Plus, no random storage limits creeping up when I least expect it.

What do you dislike about the product?

What I dislike? The search function sometimes feels like it’s playing hide-and-seek with my files. I type in what I know is there, and Box just stares back like, “Never heard of her.” Also, if you’re juggling a ton of collaborators, permissions can get messy real fast. One wrong setting and suddenly Gary (again) has full editing powers over the master doc. Not cute. Least helpful? The mobile app. It’s… fine. But “fine” doesn’t cut it when you’re trying to pull up a file mid-meeting and it decides to reload for the eleventh time. Also, syncing between devices isn’t always as snappy as I’d like. Sometimes I feel like I’m outpacing the cloud. Downsides? If you’re not super organized to begin with, Box doesn’t exactly hold your hand. It’s powerful, but it assumes you're already Type A and ready to build a mini digital empire. Casual users might find it a bit overwhelming or stiff compared to more playful platforms

What do you like best about the product?

I have used it to share large datasets for both work and leisure, mostly pictures. I work with game camera pictures for wildlife population surveys, and had multiple technicians analyzing photos remotely. It was nice to know that they could see the photos and upload their own data within the same folders and I can immediately access it. It also saved them from needing to download thousands of pictures onto their personal laptops, and saved me from needing to share an external hard drive with multiple people or purchase multiple external hard drives for them to take, that I would then be worried about losing.

What do you dislike about the product?

While I like that the software I used could integrate my files in from Box the same way it would if it were on my desktop hard drive, doing this through box did make the process go a little more slowly. This was the case whether I was on good or poor internet speeds, on wifi and ethernet. It also was a little confusing at times to change/modify permissions for people on shared folders.

What do you like best about the product?

Is intuitive, and very simple to use. You can drag and drop to upload files or receive a link to download them. One can set the expiration date for the link and even share with a group.

What do you dislike about the product?

There is no option to update you about the files. If they were downloaded by group members or by anyone.
