Rated 5 out of 5 by from Low weight and quality for postcard Bought these for an project so i wouldn't have to cut out each postcard. The seration cause rippled edges and left rips in, wasting a good portion of them. I tried using a spray to seal the images surface and add stiffness for travel, but the quality and weight of paper is low so it just caused the ink to bleed through. Would have had to adhere paper to add message and address to the backside, which defeated the whole pupose of purchasing these for greater ease in my project. Will be using for scrap papet instead of functional postcards.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good looking cards! These come apart beautifully, and are nice and heavy. The surface is very smooth and inkjet colors really pop on it. The only problem I have is in folding these... they are so heavy! I sometimes use them as closures for my bags of dog cookies by folding in half and stapling to the bag, and this style is harder to fold than others I've used. Regardless of that problem, this is a good product that I will buy again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paper Weight for Postcards? I have #3380 Textured White Postcards which states it meets US Postal regulations. However, I would like a slightly thicker paper for postcard invitation. I would like to know the weight of the paper so that I can buy a thicker postcard that I can use the same template. Perhaps they are all this thin? They look great with my design on them but I hate to see what they look like after being sent through the mail. Trying to "chat" with Avery was unsuccessful as no agent ever came. I'm rating a 3 but if the paper was slightly thicker, it would get a five, hands down!

Also, an advantage of the postcards - folks don't have to open an envelope and can readily see the message...Very easy to use and fed easily in the printer.

It's a simple way to help them remember important information without bringing heavy textbooks to the clinical setting. What is great is that I can use both sides, then I laminate them to protect the card. It slips easily into their pocket and is always handy.

I have also used then for save the date cards for meeting,graduation,family get together . Very easy to use and much cheaper they having a print shop make up your cards. They were a bit thicker I think. But the Avery's were very easy to print and use ... especially when it came time to split them up. I'd definitely recommend using them.

We decided to begin using postcards instead of letters when corresponding with our clients to save on postage. These postcards were easy to use, The perforations made it a simple task to fold on the line and separate for mailing. So much easier than typing a letter and envelope for each client, folding the letter, stuffing the envelope and sealing the envelope. When mailings go to 1000+ recipients this was really a time saver in addition to the money saved on postage alone. I will definitely continue to use them every chance I get in my new position! Thanks AVERY!!

Like the way it printed. Took a lot of work to get the address and return to print. Had to enter each one on each card.

I use graghics to help present a warm and welcome invitation. It is easy to print one side with the invitation then print the mail merge addresses on the other side.

Being short on funds, I turned to Avery for ideas. I found the postcard pack with design templates and with the right envelops, I was able to come up with a great invitation that got great comments. Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my Avery Favs I have used these postcards for at least 10 years, and they've never let me down. I recently used them to create RSVP cards for my daughter's wedding. They don't get any easier to use when you use the template in MS Word! I am a desktop publisher and using word for design is seen as taboo, but this product works perfecting with Word--Including adding a watermark-type graphic under the text. It's the results, not the tool, right?! Yes, indeed it is!

I also use their products at home for business and personal use. This is one item that is extremely versatile. Some of the ways I use these postcards include: - Inexpensive Postcard party invitations - Mailing inserts (directions to a given site) - Laundry instruction cards to attach to hand-made garments Directions are straightforward and easy to use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cards do not tear cleanly The latest batch of 8387 postcards I purchased do not tear cleanly, and leave ragged edges. Previous boxes have had better perforations. I don't know if it's just a problem with this batch or if quality overall has decreased. Disappointing.

Now I just use these quick and easy perforated ones. They come apart with a clean edge and leave no tags at all. They have made these mailings so quick and easy. THRILLED to have this product to use. Quick & easy is my motto!

The designs and colors in the templates available at avery.com are simply beautiful, for all tastes. My boss was so happy when he saw these cards in the scrapbook we gave him. They really added a very nice touch to the album plus the quality of the paper is so good and elegant. This is the first time I use this product and I will definitely keep purchasing it! Thanks!

The quality of the paper and final results are very good however I always seem to have difficulty working with Avery Templates. I especially have difficulty in downloading the template and having it do what I want. Don't know if it's the template or me or the programs I am using. I usually figure something out on my own to create the design I want on the Avery product I am using.

I was trying to find a card that I could print on the computer that was a day by day itinerary for my clients. I was THRILLED to find these cards, and found them to be the perfect size, shape, etc. for my plans. I punch a hole in the top corner of these (after printed with daily information the client will need) and put a ring in it- and the client is ready to go! They can take one each day- or carry the entire set....that part is up to them. It's awesome, and I am so glad I found this product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So many uses Saving me lots of money to have a professional printer print & collate, I printed up marketing cards for our breast surgeon so our referring physicians could give to their female patients----they love that they fit in their purses, have more info. & bigger print than a business card & they can put a face w/the name. Also use as donation notice inserts in our company holiday cards. And as little "cheat" cards for my doctors' consult coding---fit perfectly in their pocket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Unusable! These postcards are perforated as advertised, however, the perforations are not equally spaced. Two of the cards are 3 3/4" x 5 1/2" and two are 4 3/4" x 5 1/2". Not sure how you are supposed to make postcards using the template available when the postcards aren't the same dimensions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Ham Radio hobby One of the facets of the hobby of ham (amateur) radio is the exchange of postcards confirming a contact over the air. Since it's possible to make contact with someone else in just about any other place in world, customized confirmations (called QSL cards) can be a real treat. Instead of spending a bunch of money at a printer having several hundred cards printed up that I must fill out by hand, I can now produce my own and everything is professional looking with this Avery product. Templates are readily available for download, so you can customize to your heart's content. Great product and the perforations are perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality suddenly disappeared! They're now no better than the cheap no-name cards. We have used the 8387 postcards for literally decades for photo cards we mail out monthly. After replenishing our stock this spring, in the middle of a run we were shocked by the difference between the previous stock and the new. What used to be sharp and vibrant photos comparable to those printed on glossy paper are now bland and washed out. (see photo) We also noticed that the previous generation of cards were manufactured in Germany, whereas the new cards come from Mexico. Clearly, Avery not only switch their manufacturing location and/or supplier, but also lowered the quality. These cards aren't cheap, but we were happy to pay the premium because of their superior quality. This current generation of cards are no no better than the no-name brands that can be had for less than half the price. That is no longer the case. We're currently rushing to find a new supplier. Avery, bring back the previous cards! These are useless to us.
