Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent ValueTo get a 27 inch 2560x1440 monitor for under 500 dollars is a steal. It also works great and has the ability to rotate to vertical or horizontal. Excellent for photo work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Poor QualityThe ASUS PB278Q offers great features for a great price. We purchased about 16 of these and initially everyone loved them. Sadly over time they have failed one by one. The primary issue being the ports. First the Display port goes bad, so we switch to using the HDMI port, then that goes bad. I have 8 of these now that only work with DVI and that is not acceptable for our users. They are off to be recycled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very satisfied with the choice of this monitorI bought this monitor at the different retail store, since it had lower price than CDW has: quality of the image, monitor build, response times, resolution and pixel pitch of 0.23mm was a great choice. I sit about 2.5-3' away from my monitor and this is just perfect for that distance in size of 27" ... I was researching potential 25" from Asus with 2k resolution but determined 27" would be better since I do not want my monitor to be really really close to my eyes - still need them for the rest of my life :)Warmly recommended monitor for people who are not hooked on "curved" marketing gimmicks, or 0.0001ms response time - which never turns to be truthful!!!Get it!Only con: of CDW pricing is that I got it under $400 and here is almost close to $500 - but I am sure they would do a match price if one asked for it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Horrible rendition of imagesThe monitor lacks brightness and is way too contrasty. As a result, pictures appear darker, shadow detail is completely lost and highlights are muddy. You background images will have to be edited to adjust for the poor display of this monitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great display, would benefit from a USB HubGreat value for a 27" display. Same resolution as Apple's 27" Display, at half the price. Adjustable stand and build in speakers are a nice feature. It would be great if it had a built in USB hub. The height adjustment doesn't lock, unlike the Dell displays. A locking height adjustment would be handy for transport. Otherwise, decent all around 27" display. We purchased two of these, and for some reason the first one has an issue with the DisplayPort. Still troubleshooting the issue on that one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Asus LED Monitor 27"We were looking for a higher DPI monitor, and found this Asus at a great value, after testing this monitor does in fact have higher resolution than the standard 1080p monitors this is a preffered model for products and content editors that need 2560 x 1440 maximum resolution. The adjusting stand is a great feature that comes with pricier models so well worth the buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing Monitor (especially for the price)We ordered a few of these screens as a cheaper alternative to Apple's Cinema/Thunderbolt displays for our Mac user base.We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the display. The resolution is the same as the Apple displays, and it has a multitude of alternative inputs which make the screen compatible with non-Macs.Additionally, this screen satisfied our design/video production team as it supports full-native resolution at 60 hertz, which is important for video. The only caveat for us was needing to order MiniDisplayPort to DisplayPort cables (found cheaply here on CDW...the Monitor shipped with a DP to DP, not MiniDP to DP) to make them work with our Macs to drive the full 2560X1440 resolution. Over DVI or HDMI out, the Macs we tested with would only push 1080p. Not a deal breaker at all, since the screen would drive the full resolution on all Macs we tested with a MiniDisplay or Thunderbolt port.Overall, very satisfied and would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheaper alternative to Apple's offerings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Monitor I've Ever Used! This 2K monitor is has an amazing picture. The colors and brightness were perfect right out of the box (first time I have ever gotten a monitor that I didn't adjust). The only reason this didn't get a perfect score was because I had to send the first one back due to having a large piece of dust inside the screen.Even the monitor with the piece of dust inside it had perfect color and brightness without having to adjust anything out of the box, so you could be pretty certain you're going to get an amazing looking picture from this.
